Yesterday, myself and a white female customer were the only customers in Aja. The older man (owner?) asked the white female customer if she needed any help. She was searching for hair beads. He never asked me (African American female) if I needed any help. He walked past me three times and never asked if I needed anything. The racism is very obvious. Do not support business that disregard you as their customer. Take your money somewhere else. I am an out of towner from Ohio and the Asian hair store owners in my hometown are friendly and polite. Clearly these Asian at A Ja's do not give a _ _ _ _ about their customers in Conway. DO NOT SUPPORT AJA Fashions!!! They deserve (ZERO) STARS!

If I could give this place zero stars i would. I was out riding my motorcycle 4/2/2025 and got a little cold so I decided to stop in there to grab a throw over. So because I had a backpack I couldn’t shop there because I wouldn’t leave my backpack with all my personal things with a stranger. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. I felt like I was discriminated against for having a backpack.

The owner (man) is incredibly mean! My twin came in to purchase a few wigs and we purchased hair jewelry as well to cheer her up. The owner accused me of not paying 1.99 for a stupid hair clip that i did purchase. Instead of me complaining i repurchased the item and bought something else. As soon as i pay, this man starts asking me “why i look at him like that”… I told him what do you mean I’m not doing anything to you. He tells me am my twin sister to leave the store because I looked at him I guess.??? I explained to him that today my sister had her cancer appointment and that he was incredibly mean! People don’t know how to treat people! Don’t stop there and expect this man to smile if you go there expect a grumpy man, but a sweet woman!

I was there today and will NEVER go back. They followed me around the store. I already knew what I wanted when I asked to try on a 99.00 wig the lady in the store told me I could buy the wig but not try it on. What if I don't like the fit? Too bad. No bring back! Needless to say I informed her she was selling in a black neighborhood and she should be less prejudice. They already know!!! Is what she said to me.

They are so rude and do not speak or attempt to you help. They make sure they have eyes on you and when you ask them questions, there is no response or an attitude response.
