Standard grocery store. Certainly convenient for those on Isle of Palms. Parking often difficult during lunch and dinner hours because it shares lot with several restaurants. Vegetables are fresh though seemingly expensive. Very good meat and fish selection at reasonable prices. Extensive beer and wine opportunities, as expected for a store catering to beach goers. The most annoying aspect is trying to turn left out of the parking lot when leaving; almost impossible to achieve.

The deli in this store is horrible. I know they are small, but a salad bar would be nice. They are consistently out of things in the deli area. Most of the people making sandwiches are horrible ( have found hair more than once, with different employees). Always have issues in this HT. If there was another grocery store on the IOP I would definitely use it.

Usually a huge fan of Harris Teeter. They are one of the top chains in the area but today’s visit was a disappointment. My affinity for the chain is the reason for the score staying a 4 despite my experience the other day. I went in To grab a sandwich and there was no one at the sandwich counter but all hanging out over in the deli. I’m fairly certain they saw me, but it was obvious nobody wanted to make sandwiches that day. When I finally got tired of waiting and went over to get someone they said they would be over in a minute. Then I saw them all playing rock paper scissors to decide who got the misfortune of making me a sandwich. I was finally able to place my order only to find out that my first two choices of hot sandwich were not available that day and I had to settle for a cold turkey. You’re better then this Harris Teeter. ? Let’s focus on getting some management over the kids in these departments. If I wanted to experience uncontrolled teenage apathy I’d go to food lion.

Best.Scallops.Ever! I’ve been up/down the east coast beaches for 20+ years and this IOP store has it all in one location. The SC shrimp were perfect, but scallops were very good priced and AMAZING! Do not overlook them. Thank you Harris Teeter for being our “one stop” for the week!

This is a great store, complete with a full selection of just about whatever you might need. What's more, the service is exceptional and the employees are as helpful as can be. Coming from the north, that is sadly not the case. The employees at our local super chain most of the time can barely be bothered to greet you or smile, or even tell you the balance due once they finish ringing you up. So it was refreshing to shop here and come across people who obviously realize the value of friendly customer service. Love this store.

Unless you want screamed at by the old, female cashier, who was working this morning at 7 AM on Wednesday, July 5 (register 2) I would stay clear! There are about 200 grocery stores in the area, I’ll take my business someplace where they appreciate it.

Convenient location on the island. Can drive your golf cart there safely. Nice place for vacation goers that can’t afford to eat out every night there!

We were in a vrbo just about 8 blocks from this store and they were well equipped with everything we needed for our week’s stay. They were super cool to remind us to use our loyalty card from a store in our area, too. We could use our Kroger card to receive any savings available. PS they had a great selection of postcards!

Ah, Harris Teeter, the vacation hotspot that’s anything but a beach! It’s the perfect destination for all your shopping adventures, complete with rolling carts and tantalizing aisles that can rival any rollercoaster ride. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive “Deli Dude” performing incredible feats of slicing and dicing. Just make sure you bring your sunscreen because the fluorescent lights can be blinding! So grab your shopping list and get ready for a wild vacation at Harris Teeter, where the only waves you’ll be riding are the ones made by shopping carts. Bon voyage, shopaholics!

Very handy place to pick up what you forgot to bring along on vacation. Also groceries, essentials, souvenirs, etc.
