Refused to help my 6 yo daughter for a scheduled passport appointment. Refused to help US citizens who took the day off of work and school to re-new a child's passport. Disappointing. Rude. Unhelpful.Olga and Dylan working on 1/18 at 11 am should no longer work at the post office.

I was excited that this location began offering passport services and made an appointment for 3 minors nearly 3 weeks in advance. After showing up with all of my paperwork and documents and 3 children under 4, the woman at the front desk immediately told me “no, you do not have an appointment” and turned me away without offering any further assistance - no attempt to look up my information, take us as a walk in, or reschedule. Absolutely beyond rude terrible experience. As a native of IOP since 1995 I am absolutely in shock at this horrible customer service experience. To the manager of this location - this occurred at 10:45am on 1/3/24. There was another poor woman waiting in the hallway confused as to what to do as she was also told she “did not have an appointment” when she clearly did- we both had the text message confirmations from booking the appointments online. Clearly this is not a one off occurrence.

My entire family went here to apply for passports and we specifically paid to have each of the expedited. We received a letter 4 weeks letter from the state that the post office did not sign one of the applications and didn't charge us correctly. Therefore, 1 of our passports was not expedited and the other had to be completely resubmitted. I had to pay all of the execution fees all over again even when the state letter said too. All they said is "well, let's cross our fingers". This was completely their mistake and now it has cost me our trip because we can't get the entire family's passports in time.

Olga was so efficient and had a remarkably good attitude despite the fact that she was the only one working and there was a line of at least 10 people waiting to be helped.

After several weeks, my company is still waiting for payment from this IoP USPS location for services rendered. This is not due to poor work as the manager who hired me raved about my work as well as several post office employees and even one kind customer who saw the before and after. My company was hired to paint the outside stairs and railings and to do a major landscape cleanup. I was also hired to perform their regular lawn maintenance for the future. I have never taken a job without a credit card on file, but being it was a Government entity, I stupidly went against my business practice and accepted the job without a card on file because I was told by the manager, Patsy Williams, that she would pay me with the company card as soon as the job was complete. I trusted her.My office manager posted the review below in hopes we'd have someone reach out (no one did), so I'm re-posting. We have reported this location to the BBB and are now consulting with legal. This really stinks as I am a small, local business, not a huge landscape conglomerate, and my business and my family rely on us getting paid for work done. Not to mention I did this job on a Sunday (my only day off) to accommodate the postal service."Work was agreed upon on 12/7/22 and completed on 12/11/22 for $2,875.00. Patsy Williams agreed to pay by credit card once the work was complete. She then informed me that she couldn’t pay by card until after the new year. I told her that wasn’t what was discussed so she said she would get them to overnight me a check. After a week I called several times and finally reached Patsy, at that time she said they don’t overnight checks and that it would come by regular mail. She stopped answering texts and phone calls so I visited the post office on 12/22/22 only to find out she didn’t work there anymore. They then directed me to Amy Hutchings who said that if I split up the invoice into 3 invoices, they would pay by card on 12/23/22. I reached out the following week on 12/27/22 and she said that it was being taken care of. I then reached out again on 12/29/22 and she said she would have her supervisor call me. No one ever called and Ms. Hutchings stopped answering calls and texts. I revisited the post office on 1/4/23 at 9 am where the supervisor named Shamone reached out to her supervisor who said he would call me asap.I have not heard back from anyone after multiple in-person visits and countless calls and text messages."It's 1/6/23 and there has been no payment, nor resolution. Just empty promises of call backs that don't come.

This United States Postal Service location on Palm Boulevard on Isle of Palms is a great place to go for all of your postal and business needs. The staff here is very helpful and accommodating and makes sure that you get everything taken care of. Really good experience every time I have been here.

Julie at the Isle of Palms post office helped me today and she was wonderful - the only genuinely kind and helpful employee of USPS that I have ever had an interaction with! Thank you to Julie for loving your job and helping people!

The best post office EVER! It's like being transported back in time when service was great and you weren't treated like an annoyance. Smart, friendly competent postal employees who pay attention and catch your mistakes or make sure your express mail goes in the right pile so it arrives on time. We just moved from Mount Pleasant to Charleston and we said goodbye to this wonderful place. They said 'You'll be back!' Yes we will! It will be worth the drive!

Best post office I've ever used. Not only are the lines short, parking easy but they are incredibly helpful if you need something or have questions. 10 stars if I could.

My son is stationed in Okinawa. He is IT. I mailed his computer equipment last June. It took three months to arrive and when it did the monitor was broken. This was mailed from North Carolina. I have since moved to South Carolina and been fighting the US PS ever since to recoup the insurance money for the monitor my son had to pay for out-of-pocket. I received a letter in the mail, dated 16 December, received New Year’s Eve weekend. (2 weeks)…This letter indicated I had 20 days from date of the letter to bring the equipment to a post office to request reimbursement. Clearly I could not as the equipment is in Okinawa. I reached out to the company who mailed it from North Carolina, no response. I drove down to the IOP post office at my first availability and met with the postmaster general. She advised she could not find record of this. She advised she would reach back out to me. A week later I emailed her a reminder with no reply. A week after that I emailed another reminder and received a statement she could not find any information and another postmaster said maybe it was closed. No signature. Nothing. No further information although I have emailed again. No reply. This is absolutely unacceptable in the first place but much less considering my son is barely 21 years old and has signed his life away to protect this country to be treated like this is disgusting. I will be filing a claim in small claims and with the Better Business Bureau.
