I am not happy with the way the 40ish male cashier with longer (kinda greasy) hair treated me today. I haven't been here long but was told Publix is one of the better grocery stores??? Whoever said that must have very low standards. This cashier was so rude and disrespectful to me, because HIS CARD READER was acting up! I used my card at two other stores before going there...so NOT user error! What a JERK! Maybe he doesn't like women? I only had four items and he raised his voice and smarted off to me to remove my card twice, which I already did the first time He said it! Then he said push it in and out until you see the display! Never apologized for the delay and certainly wasn't even in the ball park of being friendly! Why would Publix manager hire a rude lazy disrespectful unkept male and put him in a customer service position? This guy needs to be sweeping the floor if they keep him. I wouldn't hire him to tie my shoes...Come on Publix, what are you thinking?????

Don't ever expect to find your sub on time. 20-45 minutes late every single time. You'd think giving them an entire hours notice would help, absolutely not. Then they act clueless, they must not read tickets here. Cashiers are pleasant.

Usually has everything I need in stock. Rarely has to do an exchange even when I order from the bakery. Has the best cake!

Had a very disappointing experience at the bakery this morning. I was completely ignored by 2 staff members who were at the cake decorating station. After a few minutes I realized that they were simply going to continue to ignore me so I looked around and saw 2 other staff at a counter that appeared to be another part of the bakery-they were handling breads.I looked at them and after about a minute an older woman addressed me with a confused look on her face as if I was at the wrong location and said ‘can I help you?’ Her demeanor made me feel like I was at the wrong location so I simple said ‘I’d like to talk to someone about a cake?’ Again she acted confused and said ‘huh? You want to order a cake?’ And I continued with asking about any chocolate premade cakes available-which she couldn’t be bothered to check for me and said that if I didn’t see any out then they ‘probably’ didn’t have any and ordering a cake would not be possible for today (understandably)I was highly disappointed with the total lack of customer care/concern and decided to call another location (West Ashley) for comparison before writing this review. It was a TOTAL night and day experience!They (apologetically) did not have any chocolate cakes with buttercream frosting available but worked with me until we found the next best option (chocolate ganache!) for my daughters birthday. This staff person actually shared that she just had this cake for her son’s birthday and it was a hit and offered to put the cake aside for me for pick up at anytime-no rush-and said they would be happy to find a way to write on it for me. This location should take notes…even if you don’t have an item readily available…do your best to help your customer-perhaps even suggesting the customer try another location.. Even if there was no remedy I would have walked away fine if I had at least been acknowledged!!

Have you ever seen a sign at register……this register closed? I did last night at the Publix I always shop at. It was super busy and the assistant manager was giving a helping hand. I asked are you closed? His reply……yes but come on I’ll still take you!! How cool is that! He also took a few more after me. His name was NOAH GRILLO. What nice customer service. He’s a keeper. ONLY AT PUBLIX I GUARANTEE IT
