I found this place on a Reddit thread. I was searching for a quiet place to read and journal on a solo mental health retreat I was on. This place was LOVELY! I sat in the front room, journaling and enjoying an iced coffee. The staff were also lovely and recommended A Court of Thorns and Roses to purchase. I loved it and have started the next book of the series. If you’re looking for a charming book shop, this is it!

I loved my work visit to The Book & Cover! This bookstore is adorable, drenched in natural light, and filled with cozy spots to read or do some work. It's small but mighty, and oh my goodness — the coffee! As a self-proclaimed coffee snob, I can confidently say their drip coffee served in a cute cup and saucer was perfection. The shop seriously spoke to my soul! I couldn't resist snagging a bunch of beyond-cute stickers from a talented local artist. Plus, they've got book clubs, including a Cooking book club that I’m super excited to join. This women-owned gem, founded by Emily Lilley (and her Doxie Bertie!), Sarah Jackson, and Blaes Green, is one of my new fav finds in Chattanooga. And as a Doxie lover, I’m hoping to meet Bertie soon! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor — stop by, grab some coffee, and soak up the charm!
