We are very blessed to have found Dr. Lisa, her and her staff are professional in every aspect of their jobs. Dr. Lisa spends time with the family, never rushes through questions, explains in detail of what care your pet needs, very passionate of your feelings. Dr. Lisa is the best of the best. Her staff is very concerned about your pet and you never feel alone when at the office. You can tell they are all animal lovers and when things are not going good they are there with open arms. Been to many vets in many states as we have traveled the country for a few years and have been animal owners for over 30 years, so yes been through alot. So just want to pass a big Thank you to all of you for comforting us thru tough times and showing your love to our animal family. God bless you

I will never use this Vets Practice ever!!! And will tell everyone I know of my experience with them. On Tuesday Jan 16, 2024 I contacted them first thing in the morning because I have a 3 yr old Boston Terrier that had not been able to hold down any food since Saturday night and had not been able to hold down water since the evening before. She was severely lethargic, fidgety and whimpering. My regular vet was closed due to the snowstorm that hit the day before. Every other vet in the area was closed, even the local Emergency Vet. Plateau Animal Hospital was open, answered their phone and was seeing patients but refused to see my dog in an emergency because they are not seeing new patients. They referred me to another Vet in Cookeville. I live in Pikeville which is over an hour from Cookeville when the roads are dry and clear. It took me over 2 hours to get there. It would have taken much less time to get to Plateau. This shows me that they are uncaring for animals in need. Do not patronize them.

Dr. Lisa and the whole staff are amazing, care for each patient as an individual not just coding number. One time I couldn't get my dog home after a procedure, Dr. Lisa brought her to me herself after working all day.
