Was given a vehicle with nearly 90k miles and the engine light came on. Was told I’ll have to extend my rental to get the roadside assistance I paid extra for. Avoid Avis at all costs!!!

This place came through last minute after a previous option fell through. On top of that, they were more than accommodating when we had to adjust our schedule last minute. If I ever end up in Knoxville again without a car, this would be the place I’d go.

Used an Uber ride to get to Avis Car Rental. They could of called, texted, emailed anything to let me know. Who ever is in charge of Avis needs to be fired immediately and wore smooth out!!

Do not use this location! I had booked a ford transit because that's what I needed not the Chevrolet! They had one there but instead of giving me it as I pointed I was supposed to have the ford . They walked me outside to show my the Chevrolet with bench seats that my elderly can't sit in long without headrest!!!!' But while outside gave the Ford Transit to lady behind me who seemed to be a local customer!!!!!! Said I could switch out at any Avis which is a lie!!! If they booked out they won't switch it out!!!! I'm going to make this very public!! Oh and said it's safe giving a van with broken buckle system in back!oh and I booked through Avis not budget which is more btw and cup holders and stuff we're dirty and step to get into van was wrecked in which makes it awkward to get into van!!! I want y'all to know you ruined my vacation to the point l'm not even going now!!!! Some reason my other post isn’t showing up as public???

We rented an intermediate SUV earlier this month. We could not have been more pleased. Sam and Fred were efficient, professional, knowledgeable and kind. The recent model, low mileage vehicle was very clean. We will be back!

These are the kindest, most professional men i have ever done business with. I’m an emerald member with Enterprise and have been for years but i’ll never go back to Enterprise again after dealing with Avis. Absolutely amazing customer service and will always do the customer right.

The staff was friendly however they kept calling me about returning the car. Seems like there’s some lag in their communication.

My truck was hit while parked so I had to rent a car. Insurance said they couldn’t get us a car until Monday. It was Saturday so this was the only place available. We paid $200 to get us by until insurance could get us something. Went to pick up the car and was told our credit wasn’t high enough. Sure, whatever. My mom was dropping me so she said she’d do it under her name. Her credit is near perfect but she didn’t have her ID on her so the guy said we could come back the next day and to go online to change the date and time. No big deal. I go online and since it was after pickup time, it wouldn’t allow me to change the date and time. I then tried to get a refund and was told I couldn’t get one because “I was after my pickup time”, even though I was there before my pickup time but the process took so long. I tried contacting someone and now there’s “no agents available”. So apparently this company thinks it’s okay to take your money without renting you a car.

Sam Z. & his brother are true gentlemen. Sam truly went out of his way to help us when he didn’t have to. He put me & my husband into a car that would be more comfortable for our travels. Not only did he provide excellent customer service but he acted as a great human being that truly lives by the motto of putting himself in someone else’s shoes.
