Horrible hotel. Save your money for an actual 4 star hotel. First off this is a “self check in” hotel. You have to check yourself in at a kiosk. But that is only as good as the machine if it works. There is no front desk/counter only two employees that were posted up on a small table. The receptionist was a little rude and very short when I was having trouble. Finally after waiting and having them help check in we were able to get our code with our room keys. They have three elevators but only one works. That means there is a long wait time for people to use the elevator. Everyone is packed into the elevator like a can of sardines. After getting situated I took my kids to the pool. Hours are posted for the pool 8-10pm “quiet hours”. And also under 18 must be supervised. Just as my kids, all teenagers 13-16, were about to get in the same person who “helped” us check in told us that they cannot swim. The quiet time is for adults! If you want to make quiet time for adults then make it adult time. They need to have quiet time start at 10pm not 8pm. That is still time for children. This hotel is not recommended. Horrible experience from the beginning.

Ok. So notice how old some of these reviews are before you believe them. We JUST stayed here in march 2025 and it was absolutely incredible. Clearly tons of work and attention has gone into big improvements!! Rooms are so nice and clean, well decorated even if a little small, the lobby is amazing! There is a pool, jacuzzi, bar, continental and hot breakfast (for a fee) and a restaurant. We got a pizza a fries. The pizza was SO good!!! We will only stay here when in Memphis or anywhere near it!! The best part about our stay was the staff. I was treated like an old friend the moment I got here by everyone! It made me feel very welcome and appreciated. The luggage carts are nice. The three elevator is super fast and responsive! Try this place out. The prices are incredible for the value you’ll get here! Snack, drinks, water, fancy seats, digital keys. This place has it all. My only critiques are no coffee in room (but it’s free downstairs) the shower curtain doesn’t stay in place covering the whole shower ( may have just been our room) and we had a fridge but no microwave.
These things really didn’t matter. We had a cozy bed, hot water with amazing water pressure, nice heat and air, comfy couch, big mirror for getting ready, clean hallways, didn’t hear anyone else in their rooms at all, and clean hallways. Ice and vending on 6 and 8.
Stay here! They’ve put so much into warning your business!!

good stuff first: enjoyed a great Turkey club sandwich & cold beer in restaurant. Staff are very helpful and professional. I stepped over vomit immediately outside the front entrance (seriously most disgusting hotel experience in my adult life) walking to my car the next morning. Parking is limited on site be prepared to pay $18 to park across the street in church parking lot. Breakfast buffet is $20 dont expect a lot. No complimentary coffee. I've reviewed Crowne Plaza hotels in Tulsa, Austin & Memphis - you can find my reviews on Google.

Not a great hotel and I wouldn’t stay here again. All the carpets looked dirty and one was being cleaned in the lobby while I was sitting there and you could literally see how dirty it was by the part that had been done. Still no air conditioning in the lobby area but large fans working do want to bad, glad it wasn’t as hot as the summer months though. Only one lift working so has to wait ages at times to get to and from my room on the 7th floor. The fire alarm went off at 4am so we had to evacuate the hotel, stuff outside for an hour while the 9 fire trucks that turned up checked the hotel. After being given the all clear we were allowed in after an hour but the person on duty didn’t know how to switch the alarm off and the lift doesn’t work while it is going. The main fire chiefs remark to us was “she hasn’t got a clue” which is quite worrying. After a further 1/2 hour we eventually had to climb that stairs to go back to our room but the alarm stopped while we were making our way up. A dated hotel that has a shower curtain rather than a screen, the bed was comfortable though. It is also a bit out of the way but does provide a shuttle service to Beale Street and other local areas. All the drivers were super helpful and were the only good thing about the hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We arrived at around 6.40Pm booked in and were shown to our room 616 located on the 6th Floor. We discovered a pool of water on the bathroom floor and the bathroom was very dirty. We also could not close the room door on closer inspection it was off its hinges. The engineer said he could not fix the problems and we were moved to room 626. This was in a better condition although the wardrobe doors were falling off (which we reported). After partially unpacking we went down to the bar or drinks and snacks to be told it would be closing shortly at around 9.30Pm (it closed around this time every evening). We asked several questions at reception about the surrounding area, location bars etc but the staff were not very helpful or knowledgeable. Eventually we found our own way around and discovered the hotel is located a painfully long way from bars etc at approx 9 blocks from bars and 11 blocks away from the infamous Beale Street.

This is a very beautiful hotel. Banquet is nice; never stayed in a room. Close to the interstate.

We stayed 4 nights with 45 others on a bus tour during Elvis week. Very poor quality hotel. The first thing we noticed was the dampness in the room. l believe this was due to the air-conditioning overflow leaking onto the carpet. Many of our group had to move to other rooms. There was a fabric shower curtain with plastic over it. The room was not cleaned, vacuumed, or mopped. The fresh towels were left on the bed. Our feet were black due to filthy carpet. Added to this was the fact that the main foyer/dining area had been without air-conditioning for months. The breakfast was okay, nothing flash. However, if you asked for a hot drink, well, it took a very long time to arrive. I would not have used the pool as it was not clean. As l say this hotel was pre arranged on our tour so we did not have a choice. The next 3 nights were spent at The Guesthouse Graceland, which is beautiful

Pleasant hotel reasonably close to Beale Street with courtesy bus to city centre. Bright and airy modern lobby and pleasant rooms. Decent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again though will probably never return to Memphis which, other than visiting Graceland, is not great

The front desk staff are gorgeous ladies and really lovely. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is not in the centre, but there is a good shuttle bus with a good driver to take you and pick you up on demand when you call him to. So convenient and a great service. The pool has different coloured lights on it at night. It was our honeymoon and we had a cute gift basket in our room too. Just fab.

I lived in room 1121 and it had bed bugs. I killed 3 on my hand another 5 under my pillow. I requested another room after but I just couldn’t rest anymore even in the new room. I was scared of bringing those with me back home but unfortunately they followed you even tho you throw away all the luggage . I don’t recommend this hotel and health safety department please check it out.

Hotel was as expected, I have no reason to complain other than I am still waiting for my security deposit to be returned to me. On checkout I was assured it would take no more than 7 days, 19 days later I am still waiting. I have e-mailed the hotel however no response.....

The room was okay and the bed was comfy , the staff was pleasant enough, the only thing I would fault is the housekeeping side, every surface was covered in dust and on the day of check out the housekeeping knocked on our door twice asking when we will be checking out because they want to get “their tips” before anyone else , and then knocked again as we was leaving at 11am to check if we left any tips? This made me feel extremely uncomfortable as I didn’t think you left tips as I’d pre paid for the hotel and the standard of the room was below average cleanliness , I don’t intend on travelling to Memphis again but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone that was

We were in Memphis for FreedomFest. A/C was out in lobby, bar and restaurant areas (evidently has been out for some time.) Understaffed in bar and restaurant, but those working were very friendly and helpful. The lack of air conditioning and the short staffing made relaxing at the bar in the evening a no-go. The room was nice and clean with good furnishings and the A/C worked perfectly. If needing to be close to the convention center, I would recommend staying at the Sheraton.

Our rooms were fine - a bit dated, but perfectly acceptable. The staff was lovely (especially "T" in the bar) BUT - and this is a big BUT - there was no A/C in the lobby, the bar or the restaurant. And, worse still, it's been out of service since May. With temperatures in the high 90s, this was intolerable. It was actually cooler outside in the heat and humidity than in the lobby. And forget the restaurant or bar - too hot to do anything other than pour ice water over yourself. Front desk people were ;literally holding ice bags to their heads and necks. I understand that a/c can breakdown, but to not have it repaired or replaced since MAY is unacceptable. And surely it's an OSHA violation to force employees to work under these conditions. The rooms, as I said, were okay, but I would never stay there again because of their lack of concern for their employees.

The reception was very cool. We would have liked the staff to be a little friendlier. Parking and breakfast have to be paid for additionally. The beds weren't made. The only friendly employee was the chauffeur of the shuttle bus, which we were able to order by phone late in the evening to pick us up in the city.
