I've officially been here one month and truly enjoy my space! The updated kitchen with island and the two balconies, have made it a comfortable and enjoyable place to live. The entire property is gated and secure, giving me peace of mind as a single woman. Janice has been a tremendous help from day one, making my move smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Melrose Midtown Apartments to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and well-managed place to call home! Let's be neighbors...

I was a little worried since I’d never been to Memphis and only seen the apartment on FaceTime, but man did this apartment exceed my expectations.
The entire building is extremely modern city vibes. My apartment itself is immaculate, better than the FaceTime. It’s clean, safe and quiet. They have overnight security in the parking lot. It’s gated. I’ve seen absolutely no bugs since I’ve been here.
The staff as well as the other residents are very welcoming. When I was moving in, I asked other residents what they thought and no one had anything negative to say and lots of them had been living here for years. One resident who had lived here for over a year had said she still wakes up feeling blessed to have such a nice apartment. I could not agree more.
The only reason for the minus one star is because utility cost is shared among all residents based on your apartment size instead of based on what you use. I didn’t realize this till after I moved in and my first utility bill came to me.

Janice and the team here are amazing! I rented my apartment while living in another state. The process was easy, apartment clean and great location. It’s very safe, quiet and clean.

I did the virtual tour with Janice and she was absolutely amazing! The apartment looked just like the tour and the office is extremely helpful and responsive.

I really have enjoyed my time here and I recommend anyone who needs to live close to the medical district and central Memphis to move in here. Several colleagues live here as well which makes it comfortable. Ms Janice is the most attentive and sweetest manager I’ve ever had. The 24/7 security makes it feel safer and the apartments are spacious and clean as well. The maintenance crew is on point and professional . And most importantly to me it’s quiet ! Since mostly professionals live here with variable hours for rest and relaxation I appreciate Ms Janice and the apartment for enforcing this mutual respect amongst neighbors. The only con is the utilities are HIGH. However based on the above it’s worth it to me.

I am a medical employee, and I highly recommend these apartments. One of the best things about these apartments is that the power plant is about 1/4 mile away, so we never experience any power outages which is fantastic especially during the last 4 winters storms. I have been here since 2020, I thought it was about time for me to share the best kept apartment secret in Midtown / Central Gardens. The area and the building does not represent the interior. Once you enter the gated community and go inside of the building, it's a different vibe. All of the neighbors that I have met at the social functions are doctors, nurses, attorneys, bankers, professors, etc..., everyone seems to have a professional background. I was out of town for over 2 weeks, and my delivered package was waiting on me in the package room when I returned. I love it here!
Anytime I put in a service request, Eliseo and Juan are on it. It’s really close to the hospitals and the schools in the area which is a plus. There are a lot of great amenities such as the gym, the dog area, business center, package room, the fire pit at at the pool during the fall, the grills and the swimming pool. The staff is really great, and the same exact staff is there from when I moved into the building in 2020

I love these apartments!! Best apartments I ever lived in. I hated to move away, but I received a job promotion in Atlanta. I have not been able to find all of what I had at The Melrose in ATL. Sq. ftg. for the price, great management, maintenance, clean building, extremely quiet place, almost too quiet, and I felt extremely safe. If I was to move back to Memphis, I would definitely move back to these apartment.

Janice, the property manager, is awesome and helped me with every step. She really went above and beyond, and that alone is 5 stars, I wish I could give them 10 stars. When I initially read the reviews, I wasn't sure who was being rated, the property or the manager, but if you live here, you will quickly see why we love having her as our property manager.
Amenities are great, and the building is extremely quiet and clean. I like that the apartments are exterminated monthly. The property is gated, and no one can enter the gate or building without a resident letting you in. We have a security guard here as well during the nights, and he is very approachable. The pool is always blue and inviting, and even has a grill. There is also a gym and business center.
I hate that it's not walkable to places, but it's less than a 10 minute drive to the medical district, autozone park, fedex forum, the universities, Beale street, the river, and more.

Melrose is the best place we’ve stayed. Mrs. Janice, is the best apartment manager you could wish for! Everything in the unit is modernized and so beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone moving to Memphis, definitely the best place to live!

Melrose was the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. Spacious, clean, and quiet. I never heard a single neighbor. All maintenance requests were fulfilled within a day or two. The pool and mailroom were well maintained. The parking lots were both safe and secure. All staff members are friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move in Memphis!

My time living at Melrose Midtown has been nothing short of excellent! Interactions with the Property Manager Ms. Janice, has been the best experience I have had with management thus far at an apartment complex, as well as the entire maintenance and staff crew. Very communicative and timely responses. The community is very quiet and well kept. The apartments are very nicely maintained and multiple floor plans with different special features. Most people seem to be med students at UT Health School, working professionals, professors, and retirees. I am only moving away for work to a different state, otherwise I would have continued my stay. You have a fully gated community, with night patrol, conveniently located between midtown and downtown, with the heart of both location no more than 5 minutes away. You want find a location this perfectly situated, secured, and well maintained, at these prices anywhere else in town. Thank you Melrose Midtown for a great experience upon my tenure here in Memphis!

One of the best apartment complexes in Memphis! The staff are beyond responsive, often responding to non-urgent maintenance requests within hours. Janice, the office manager, truly cares about her resident well-being; she takes the time to get to know everyone individually. During my 4 years of living at the Melrose, I have never felt unsafe. The units are spacious with lots of natural lights. The balconies are great for spending a relaxing evening in the spring and fall time. Would highly recommend living at the Melrose Midtown!!
