Absolutely impeccable. You get what you pay for. $400 a night may be pricey for some, but once a year on a vacation, it is a welcome expense at Loews. We stay there every year around Thanksgiving and bring our two rat terriers. Loews has a reputation for being great with the pups, having special dog gourmet menus prepared by their Master Chef, giving doggie treats and toys (a Kong ball they still chase at the lake), and offering concierge services for walking and pet sitting services Booking a pet package, we knew to call ahead so that they could prepare the room for the mongrels. Once we arrived, valet quickly got to our car and a bellman emptied the car of its luggage and escorted us to check in. Check in was lovely with a huge array of fresh cut flowers. The bellman took us to our room and unloaded all of our luggage for us. We were greeted with two pet bowls brimming with the chef prepared meals for the dogs- it was all ready and waiting for us in our room. We still use the stainless steel dog bowls they gave us out at the lake when we take them for some boating fun. Another nice touch was the pleasure of having a handwritten note from the manager welcoming us to Nashville. If we needed ANYTHING, it was brought up immediately. When I called asking if they had crushed ice in the kitchen I could purchase (instead of the cubed ice that was complimentary), an attendant was at our door faster than I could have even gotten it from the ice bin- and it was no charge for their trouble. When it comes to hotels, Loews is one of the few that I will stay in. It is in the league of the greats: The W, The Ritz Carlton, The Four Seasons, etc, etc. Staff: 10 In room menu: 10 Proximity to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse: 10 Cleanliness: 10 Price: 10
