Ok this is the low down on this place, they serve delicious food and I have brilliant doctor near by.They have free books and interesting ones. They have Art on second floor. Beautiful talented Artist! Don't talk to anyone though. Some people don't want to better their lives. It breaks my heart that some people the biggest investment is YOURSELF ? Happy Holidays Rooms at the Inn the volunteers need more appreciation. ???

One of the best programs on the planet to help indigent individuals in need of help. Not perfect, but the best I've been exposed to in my lifetime. On a scale of 1thru10, I would give it a 13!

This place helped me get back on my feet after I became homeless flying domestic violence from another state. The staff is so nice and the free lunch is marvelous! On the bad side, much care and alertness had to be practiced because it's a "cave of thieves" due to the character of those who hang out there! Also, I'm extremely disappointed that the next door and affiliated Guest House and the upstairs in the building ONLY ALLOWS MEN TO LIVE THERE! Completely discriminatory towards homeless women! Men get all kinds of priorities even though women are so much vulnerable/defenseless being homeless! And just for Vets? Is that the condition of the grant? Sad ?

The area is infested with drugs, but the place itself is a good environment as far as resources and help people in need

Probably the most "Christian" work for the needy there is. The staff loves the homeless like a family member. They feed over 200 homeless people a hot high calorie meal, but more important they treat them the way that I believe Jesus expects. With compassion and dignity.

What a SCAM. How dare you charge Disabled Veterans and Veterans 75% of their benefits for shared living dorm room living conditions. I would never ever fork over 75% of my benefits. You are SCAMMING VETERANS OUT OF THEIR RETIRED BENEFITS. SHAME ON YOU SCAMMERS!!!!!!????????

Its the mission 2.0 but the staff really cares about each and every single person no matter how ugly or fat you are. Theres alot of homeless people still but everyone regains theyre common courtesy aand sense when they enter the gate so theres a very low chance youll see feces on the floor or somebody changing clothes in the middle of the room.they have classes about art, farm life, music, anger management, A&D, and stuff like that and if you take those classes you get rewarded points and with those points you can get from a pair of shades to an all day bus pass or a charger for your phone or deodorant and body wash and clothes etc they also serve serve coffee for points monday wednesday and friday and lunch at 11 everyday. Ive been going here just about everyday for 7 months and the staff treat me like family 10/10 hope i dont come here ever again

The services they offer for individuals experiencing homelessness are wonderful, from offering courses and training, to connecting them to agencies who help house those who are homeless to the two meals a day served. They have very caring and compassionate staff that make the visits worthwhile.

I stayed at the Guest House for three months and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The staff was disrespectful and tried to goad people into confrontations to have them removed. It supposed to be a Recovery House and a Transitional House for just released prisoners yet some of the staff try to make you relapse or get into trouble to send you back to prison. SOME of the staff are very caring and helpful but the director Kurt ties their hands so they can not properly assist in transition. Anne, Audrey Ann, Pat, Christy and Rev were very caring but others could care less about your weel being. STAY AWAY is my advice.
