I visited Tennessee State University with my nephew who is an incoming freshmen. One thing I loved during our visit was the outpouring love and support that was shown from every single person we encountered on campus. Nothing like an HBCU! We're looking forward to providing that same love and support back to the university for years to come!

Placed an order of 2 clothing items on 12/15 for Christmas gifts, One of two items i have ordered came but no e-mail from book store about tracking number and nothing!!! called the book store on 12/23 for 4-5 times during business hour but no one picked up. sent couple e-mail requesting information about my one of ordered. finally 4 days later they e-mailed me saying the item i have ordered was out of stock and the order was canceled. really? it would have been nice to be told couple days after I have placed an order they don't have what I have ordered. So I can buy something else other than telling the Christmas gift recipient he will get another gift later. Is this how they always treat the customer? I WILL NEVER order from them

I've always wanted to attend an HBCU. With one down the road that I would be able to attend online I thought why not? Wellllllll.....at first I was told that I'd graduate at a certain time because I completed all of the classes needed, I was told 1 month before graduation-and after I purchased c&g, cords, and sashes-that I was 5 credits short. How sway you ask? The advisor who advises right?-added me to classes that didn't pertain to the degree even after asking him was he sure and he said they were not needed and to add insult to injury, I received a few emails congratulating me on my recent Spring graduation from TSU. Ok, I finally got over that and re-enrolled-foolish, I know. I spoke to a very rude lady today in the bursar's office who overtalked me and did not give me an opportunity to tell my side. It's people like that that give the school a bad name. They wonder why they are underfunded and people choose to attend PWI's. I have yet to have a pleasant experience on the phone with anyone there. If they do not want to do their jobs, please let someone else have them.
