Have been here couple of times. Don’t like having to share a quarter for a basket (always have to go dig in car to find one). Always find something here besides what I went for. They do have good deals

Popped into this ALDI on the Tuesday afternoon before Thanksgiving 2023.It's a decent ALDI. Been to several in California. This is the first Texas store of its kind I've shopped. The usual setup applies: bring a quarter to the locked carts out front. Shop. The cashier uses your cart in a hurried fashion to reload the groceries NOT into bags after they've been scanned. You bag them yourself at the long counter near the exit. All of this cuts back on prices... which inflation has still affected ALDI but not nearly as bad as I thought it would. If I had a cooler with me, I would have picked up a few fridge & freezer items.Their specialty section was a bit in disarray. Pretty normal sight actually. Then I think to myself, I'm glad to not be going to those folk's houses. Lol. Thank you to the nice lady who gave me her cart in the parking lot. I tried to give it away again, but got a no thank you. Ha!

They don't want you to carry in store but don't have any signs posted no 30.5 30.6 or 30.7 signs be careful coming here they want to do the good ol democratic bait a switch and wait for you to come in and try and trespass you good thing I noticed the little ripped up paper in the corner saying "no weapons allowed." That's all it said look up the state law on the signs you guys need to put up .

Kristi the cashier was extremely condescending and Ignorant.. I went in for a total of 5 things.. there was some there to buy 3 separate transactions over over $1,000 after waiting 5 min .. I asked if there was someone else that can check me out with my few items.. she was extremely rude telling the other customer how rude I was and I didn’t want to wait for them… she should be talked to about her Customer service poor!!

Prices were decent and way better than Walmart. Staff is not courteous. They throw your groceries in the cart like the garbage.. when I asked her to not throw my groceries in the cart, she looked at me like I was crazy, and she continued to throw my items in the cart. So I kindly declined, took all the items out of the cart and put them back on top of the table and said I am all set and left. As I was leaving, she rolled her eyes at the next customer and scoffed under her breath. I turned around and told her that wasn’t very nice, and that she needs to grow up. For whoever the manager is this happened at 4:20 by the cashier on number one and I believe it should be addressed. That was my first time ever to an Aldi’s. What a bad experience. The food and the prices are very good. I liked that part but she just threw our lettuce and other items in there like it was garbage you won’t get my money.

I enjoy shopping at Aldi's in spite of having to bag, box,or carry my own items out when I don't have a quarter for a cart or I forget my bags. Some of my favorite items are the produce, bread, lemonade, pico de gallo, cedar plank salmon, lol, just to name a few. One day, I was able to buy 10 lbs of chicken leg quarters for less than $5 ($4.79).Many of the prices are lower than other stores, but don't think everything is cheaper. Each visit I'm drawn to go check out the bargains in the clothing and household item aisle. There's a lot of nice bargains and great ideas. I was laughing with my adult son the other day because he says for him, that's his favorite part of the store too.

Discount shopping can be two sided. I love Aldi. SO many products from companies you won't find in the regular grocery store. I love the notices of what's new or different this week. Aldi is all the way on the other side of town for me, but I still take the time to go. The down side of discount shopping is the lack of employees. I went in yesterday after two specific things. As I entered, of course I noticed only one cashier and the line waiting on her. I quickly found my two items and went to join the line. In that short amount of time, the line was now backed up to the center of the store. The stockers saw the line but no one went to open another register. They just kept stocking. I put my two items back and walked out. I guess it's my fault for going on a Saturday. I'll return Monday after work and hope for the best!

They've solved the plastic bag problem. Bring your own or buy theirs. If every store did it, trashy Texas would clean up. Organic foods, no name brands, best cheese selection in Abilene and lowest prices. Fastest checkers in the West. They tell you who grew some of your food and it's not Bill Gates' Poison Factory Farm, Inc.If you want more health and sanity, join us at Aldi's.

ALDI is always fun. You never know what you will end up purchasing when you go. That's part of the fun when shopping here. There a good deals to be found here but know your stuff because there are items than can be tricky on the quantity, but that true for every store! I always enjoy shopping here and I haven't ever had a bad staff talk with or help me. They do have a wide selection of Organic and gluten free items. Their beer and wine selection is not amazing but they have a generous selection of craft beers.

This Aldi is always clean, well organized, and well staffed. The weekly deals are good value. I make this a regular stop for the good deals on fruits and veggies on the end cap.

My first go-to for groceries as they are MUCH cheaper than all others. Their products don't have as much variety, but get the basics here, then go shop at more expensive grocery stores for the items Aldi did not have.

First & last visit. Not impressed at all.Not alot of selection. Was more like an outlet store.Check out was weird. I bought a bag & cashier threw it in the cart and placed the groceries on top of it. When I went to bag, he snapped at me to wait til he was finished. Whatever dude. Could've asked if we were first timers & explained things.Won't go back.

When I moved to Abilene, this store was the biggest thing I was looking forward to. I have always had a fun time shopping here, enjoying the many finds. It's deceptively packed with goodies. Now that I'm moving away I shall miss it sorely.
