I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent experience at the Wells Fargo branch in Alvin was so terrible that I felt compelled to warn others. I went into the branch expecting to handle a straightforward banking issue, but I was met with nothing but rudeness and unprofessionalism, particularly from the manager.
From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere felt off. The staff seemed disorganized, and the line moved incredibly slowly. When it was finally my turn, I explained my situation—a simple issue with a recurring payment that I needed help sorting out. The teller tried to assist but quickly said I needed to speak with the branch manager. That’s where things went downhill.
The manager, whose name I won’t mention, was shockingly rude and dismissive. They acted as if I was wasting their time and even made a few condescending remarks about how I “should already know how to handle” the issue. Excuse me, but isn’t the whole point of customer service to help customers with their banking needs? I felt completely belittled and unimportant throughout the conversation.
What made it worse was their lack of willingness to provide solutions. Instead of addressing my concerns directly, the manager kept brushing me off, suggesting I call the customer service hotline instead. I was already in the branch, hoping for face-to-face assistance, but clearly, this manager had no interest in doing their job or even treating me with basic respect.
This wasn’t just a one-off issue either. While I waited in line, I overheard other customers complaining about similar treatment. It’s clear that this branch has a culture of poor customer service, and the manager is setting a terrible example.
I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer for years, but this experience has made me seriously reconsider my loyalty to the bank. If this is how they treat their customers, why should I stay? I’ve already started looking into switching banks, and I’d encourage others in the Alvin area to think twice before doing business here.
In conclusion, if you value being treated with respect and having your concerns addressed professionally, avoid this branch at all costs. Wells Fargo can and should do better than this, starting with hiring a manager who actually knows how to lead and assist their customers.

Please check your rolls i
Of quarters !!! Today one if my $10 rolls was only $9.75....a quarter is no big deal unless this keeps happening or when your at the laundromat and you need 25 cents more to start the dryer. From now on, I will check my coins before leaving the teller. I still like Wells Fargo but times are tough & there's no reason for these errors if a machine is counting and rolling the change.

Mgr in Member Services Dept took a lady out of the teller line and assisted her while others had waited over 20 minutes to see her. Tellers were helpful and pleasant, however Mgr was rude and dissed members who did not have appt by picking/choosing who she wanted to assist and making others wait. I was “dismissed” at 10 minutes to 5:00 after having waited almost 1 hour to see her because I didn’t have an appointment.

The line was terrible and only one person serving everyone. One of the other officers came out though and showed me how to do what I needed at the ATM. Was really appreciated

No one answers the phone! Some things require a human. Pushing for automated services sometimes won't work. The business account forces us to use you and have had issues getting correct change. We've been shorted 3 times. I catch the mistakes now but only because I recount in front of the tellers

Some employees at this branch along with the branch manager are disrespectful, unprofessional and biased when it comes to services they are suppose to provide.
I've gotten information by reporting them to Wells Fargo that them refusing certain services to me and my husband have been against their policies.
I suggest people either be inconvienced by having to drive out of town to a different branch to get services Wells Fargo does offer to their customers because these employees refuse to adhere to their job duties or find a local branch whose employees will do their jobs correctly and also treat their customers with basic respect.
