I decided to get some dinner here and I was not disappointed. I am a regular here and the lady who always takes my order always get me right. She seen my thumb and gasp into air and was saying “ omg what happened to your hand, it looks like it hurt” I fell out laughing and said “ He’ll yeah it hurts, I have stitches in it and it’s healing, I need my nails done but I can’t right now lol ?”. I love their hospitality by the way.. they are so good to me.

Something has changed at Cokers. My daughter and I ordered through the drive through. She ordered a baked potato with chopped beef. I ordered the slice beef sandwich meal with extra pickles and onion. Her potato came without sour cream or chives and no bbq sauce. I got a tiny foil wrapped pkg with 4 pickles and 3 slices of one layer of onion. 2 tiny bbq sauces and i had ordered extra. Very chintzy. The bbq was very good but it was very disappointing to not get what was never a problem before.

The restaurant was empty on a friday night ... Not sure why .. Clean dining room cashier was sweet like ya grandma... Loaded bake potatoe was soooo goodFood: 4/5

This place is not what it used to be. Their onions are terrible their potato salad is more like mashed potato salad they gave me pickles and onions plenty of pickles and two tiny pieces of onion the barbecue sauce it was so thin and it looked like they might've added water to it I will not be going back to this place.

I've been eating at Coker's for over a decade. The last time I'd eaten there they were utilizing a drive-thru (pre-Covid/pre-New Ownership) and had stopped table service and were encouraging the customer, if dining inside, to place their order at the register and retrieve their own drink & silverware. Though the food quality was still good, it was impersonal and gave the impression of minimal effort by the staff. Needless to say, it was a turnoff, so I didn't go back as often as i used to. Fast forward to post Covid times. I went to eat inside and was pleasantly surprised to see that things had been updated (booths, lighting, music, etc.) and table service had returned. It was a lot more welcoming. And I'm happy to say that the service, food and portions were top notch. It inspired me to start going more frequently. All that to say, I would highly recommend dining here. This review is based solely on the food and service. I get the impression those others longing for the 'good ol' days' may be a commentary on the new ownership more than the actual product.

Parking lot and restaurant clean and well-maintained. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Food was ok, I enjoyed the ribs the most but I actually make better pulled pork. It was good experience thoughFood: 4/5

We had dinner at Coker's earlier this week and decided to dine inside. They weren't very busy and that sometimes worries me that a business might be struggling, so please go give them a try and support them. The dining room was very clean and the server was polite and helpful. Our food was well prepared and delicious!

Got take out brisket and sides from here. Barbecue was excellent, sides of fried okra and coleslaw were good. Liked the barbecue sauce. A half pint side will easily feed 2-3. Family operated. Indoor area looked really clean and they have a meeting room.

The sliced brisket is sooooo delicious and lean! Love their potato salad and coleslaw. The restaurant is clean and the decor is darling. Our server was the sweetest lady! We have kids and get a highchair and booster. I carry clorax wipes in our diaper bag bc they’re usually disgusting and need to be wiped down. Not here, even the booster and highchair looked like they were cleaned after the last customer! I was so impressed! Our boys shared a kids plate and enjoyed it! My 4 year old said it’s his new fav restaurant.

Pretty good, got the chopped brisket. Asked for it without sauce though and they still put sauce on it anyways so that was a bummer. But the loaded potato was great and tried on of my father in laws ribs and it was pretty good. Also loved all the Coca-Cola stuff on the walls.

I haven't been back here in nearly a year and it makes me sad.Cokers has always had decent BBQ, decent sides, and big portions, but it was nothing amazing that you'd go out of your way for, a decent 4/5. You generally went because it was convenient/close, the cool coke merchandise, and most importantly the ice cold fountain drink coke.Now that they're under new management they got rid of the fountain drink cokes and serve the awful tasting canned coke that you get at the grocery store. The excuse was people complained about the inconsistency in the fountain drink taste, which is simple equipment management and keeping the formula ingredients topped. Sounds like just straight up laziness to me, rather than fix the problem they just switched to an inferior cop out solution.Everyone knows fountain > glass bottle > plastic bottle/canSo now they just give generic store bought coke and BBQ that's decent but doesn't stand out in a crowd, why should I come here anymore? I used to come here at least once a month but when visiting the area but now I can't be bothered to go, there's better BBQ out there if they're not going to serve fountain soda.

Really great BBQ! The service was fantastic and food was excellent. Can't go wrong with the sliced brisket! Potato salad and beans are great too!
