I've used Greater Austin Moving & Storage three times now, and it's always an excellent experience. Their movers are quick, professional and wrap everything up well, not to mention really great people to be around. Plus there's a tip field when paying, so no more running to the bank the night before to get cash. Highly recommend!

The team from Greater Austin Moving just couldn’t have been better! Thank you so much to Erik, David, Brandon and Chris for making a stressful day go incredibly smooth- we even had some laughs along the way. A superb bunch of folks with amazing work ethic and good hearts. They did everything that we asked of them and more. Not a thing was damaged, walls were protected, everything on the other end was set up perfectly, all furniture and boxes ended up in the right places and we are so grateful! Tori was very responsive, kind and communicative on the office end of things. I’m sure we’ve all had a negative moving experience that tends to scar you for life! Overall great experience and would recommend! The booking process was straightforward and they were responsive, with an easy to understand quote and online portal. We hired for both packing and moving, which based on a few questions and pictures provided of our current place they opted to split into two days. Both days they arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day. They were very careful in moving heavy/fragile items, and made sure to break down everything that needed to be, as well as set everything back up exactly how we wanted in our new place.We've unpacked about 80% of our stuff, but so far NOTHING has been broken or damaged which is really impressive as I've never moved where that's been the case.I'll say from a "value" standpoint, I thought the packing took a little too long and while I can understand being extra cautious in ensuring no damage to things a lot of the packing seemed unnecessary and a waste of time. That would be fine if they didn't charge by the hour. Things like wrapping individual plastic tupperware in paper or just filling 1/3 of every box with paper regardless of contents come to mind. As a result, they went way over the quoted time on both packing day and move day and our move ended up only being about $600 cheaper than a cross-country move from Philly we had done 2 years ago, where we actually had more items and also utilized packing services. Those packers took 2 hours less to pack, but then they also broke a couple items so maybe that's just the trade off. If I had to do this move again, I probably would have just packed as the small odds and ends/kitchen which seemed to take the longest myself and hired them for the rest.Again, I would absolutely recommend the company, just be aware you will be paying a premium particularly if you choose packing services.

We were contracted to work with one of their employees coming with a transport from Texas to Illinois. He showed great care and expertise in handling all of the clients property. Well trained. Great service and pleasure to work with. I'd work with them anytime.

Received estimates from a few companies, but this was the only company that came out prior to the move to give an estimate after viewing everything that needed to be moved from our house. The actual move was right in line with their estimate. I also had them come a couple days before the move to finish packing which was well worth it.

I cannot recommend Great Austin Moving enough. They are the most professional and organized moving company I’ve ever used. I was promptly contacted after I put in a request online and was able to schedule a quick walkthrough to receive a quote from Tori. She was in contact with me, checking in throughout the entire process. We used their packing service (which is worth every penny). Tori, Vicki, and Jennifer were incredibly quick, organized and did an incredible job taking care of our belongings. We were pleasantly surprised at even the detailed labeling on our boxes, making the unpacking process for us much easier.The next day Erik, Kannon and Brandon did our move. Again, on time and organized. They were efficient and went the extra mile to ensure that everything was safely in its place. The entire team did such a great job communicating with me and with each other. Best moving experience I’ve had in the many moves I’ve made over the years. Would definitely use them again in the future!

This team did a quick move of a refrigerator from one house to another house about a half mile from each other. Since I was paying for a minimum, I had them move some BIG items to the city dump. It worked out so well!

BEST MOVING & STORAGE COMPANY IN TEXAS! I was so impressed with the amount of care put into moving my entire apartment. All of my belongings were wrapped neatly and safely to ensure nothing was broken/damaged. Tammy is extremely kind and caring, she checked on me throughout my move and storage process (which was over 6 months) and even followed up with me to make sure I made it to my destination safely. The service is easy and quick too. I would highly recommend Greater Austin Moving & Storage to anyone who needs to move!

Amazing logistics, customer support and movers. Everyone was so nice and accommodating!! I had to reschedule 3 times and was worried they couldn’t fit me in… I called and the answer I received was “no problem! We are here to make your move easier”.
