Food was delicious - guava danish & the tomato, basil, and cheese danish were definite highlights. Earl grey cold brew was also great! The service was great & the food came out very fast. Plus with nice weather the rooftop/patio seating is super nice.

This place was so good I want to kiss the paperboy on the mouthIn all seriousness, we really loved the guava pastry and tomato & basil pastry. I enjoyed an earl gray cold brew and the Migas (pictured). The patio was lovely!!

Really really good Brunch location. The Danishes are superb, both the sweet and savory. The Chicken and Biscuits were absolutely Exquisite and classic breakfast is a favorite across the board. 10/10 recommend!Where is the paperboy at, I want to buy him a new bike!

Food: delicious and creative dishes, but the coffee was cold. I complained, but it didn't work;Service: the waiter’s service was lovely, but we only sat down after 30 minutes of waiting, and the hostess offered us a table under the Texan sun. I refused and she offered the high-top bar chairs, which had been empty since I arrived. During the check payment, we discover a fee for “kitchen appreciation” from the bar. I felt disrespected and it screwed up my brunch. It’s not for the value itself but due to the feeling to be disappointed.

Such a delicious place but there’s always a crazy long wait if you don’t have a reservation.

Perhaps this was a case of building up unattainably high expectations, however my brunch experience at Paperboy left me with a been-there-done-that aftertaste. The menu offers a small selection of typical brunch dishes. Not wanting eggs and potatoes, I ordered the Ricotta Toast. The toast was extremely hard to cut through, which may have been due to the fact that it was quite burnt on the underside. Because it took quite a while for the order to be placed on our tables, I chose not to bring it to the server’s attention that the burnt toast made it nearly impossible to eat. I tried to use a meat knife instead of a regular one, and it could barely get the job done. The ricotta + basil flavour was good. The cheddar hash tasted fine. The corn-bread-type pancake was great, something a little unique. The best item from what I got was the salted caramel iced oat milk latte. Overall, I am sure this place is a frequent haunt for many, and the pretty walls and cute ambience certainly give it ‘brunch spot’ vibes, however I cannot imagine wanting to repeat a $45 brunch (per person) here. Service was friendly but slow, and the bill included a 23% gratuity for a large party, but you will wonder what makes a group a regular party, if a group of 5 is a large party.Vegetarian options: No marked veg/vegan options. Although substitutions are possible if you ask your server.

Definitely worth the hour wait! Love that they have a take out window to grab a coffee while waiting. Food and service were top-notch!

I recently had an amazing experience at this cafe! The breakfast was delicious, and the service was exceptional, especially thanks to Steven, the super nice bartender. His friendly attitude and attention to detail truly made our visit memorable. I highly recommend this cafe for a wonderful breakfast experience!

Everything was perfect the day I went to Paperboy. I remember like it was today; it was February 18, 2024 at 10:15 am. The weather in Austin was 45 degrees Fahrenheit with the perfect amount of sunlight. The cocktails were immaculate - the best I've ever the had. The Texas hash was savory and flavorful. My fiance got the chilaquilas, and boy was that also good!
