Great to support local. My faves are Julie Myrtle (almond croissant), yapa empanada (Chana masala), and the hummus place (spicy lentil and spicy black bean)

Decent Farmers Market but relatively small for what I would expect from Austin great quality from everything I bought.
This downtown Austin farmers market started in 2003 and is the queen bee of the SFC Farmers’ Market system. Featuring dozens of farmers and award-winning food artisans, this market is a must-see for newcomers and regulars. Situated in the picturesque Republic Square and on the new cosmopolitan Federal Courthouse Plaza, there is a café under the Auction Oak, live music, and plenty of room to picnic.
