Will not be going through America's best again. Was needing a trial pair till the following week cause couldn't afford the box's at the moment, and was told they can't give out a pair not even sell them. Target and other eye places will give yiu a pair if needed or charge you 20 bucks for pair to last till you can buy a box. Not only have I paid for exam I even purchased the eye care for a year with them. Great way of showing appreciation to your customers

Just go to focus 20/20 on Southmore avenue in Pasadena at the Walmart. My old optometrist is there and I will be switching back. Trust me. I don't have to explain why but if you go here, you will see why.

Had the BEST experience with the optician Mario! He was very helpful with my insurance snafu and upon my return visit was able to get it all straightened out.Mario seemed to care and remembered me! I felt good getting his opinion on my new frames. Looking forward to working with him again in the future. Would highly recommend this gentleman!

Wasted 2 months between visits picked out glasses, gave them insurance info twice to be told they don't accept my insurance not to mention they hadn't even ordered the glasses I wanted. Horrible customer service I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Previous frames where poor quality and not worth the money. Walmart glasses where far. If you wanna browse frames that's the ONLY good service they provide in my opinion.

I visited this place with my wife today. We were both vaccinated and wearing masks. When I first got in, a staff at the front desk told us only one person can be in the store. I understand that, but when I started to look around the glasses, the staff at the front desk came to me and told me "just don't touch anything, okay?" I felt so insulted feeling like she treat like walking germ. I do not want to spend hundreds dollars on a store treat me like a trash and does not allow me to try their products, especially if it is glasses. If you guys want to keep your products clean, staffs, who were just sitting at the desk, can clean and sterilize the glasses after customer trying them, not telling customers not to touch anything. What a rude.

I paid over 700.00 for glasses and contacts for my wife and i. I let it be known the day we got them, mine ( later found my wife also) are not correct. The staff person said i need to let my eyes adjust to glasses. Ok we have done that. I went back, told them again they are not correct. All i could get is pay another 65.00 for another exam. I was told by the doc she could fix my eyesight to 20/20 with correct lenes. Is this not what we were suppose to get at first. I dont think we will pay again. The lenes are of no use to either of us.are you gonna answer this one or contact ab in baytown on garth road and actually get something done ?

VERY CLOSE TO FRAUD AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. It is almost impossible to determine the prices you will be charged..They advertise low price but charge you 3 to 4 TIMES the price In commercials.

They get you in really fast (as long as you have an appointment) and they are very friendly. They do need to do something with their computers when you check out. I had to move 4 times to pay for my visit. overall they are great and informative.

I spent $260.00 with these people and it was a total waste of money I can see better with a pair dollar general reading glasses then the ones I bought from them they claim I had cataracts problems but still sold me a pair of glasses that are totally useless. I have to retract my complaint and instead give American Best Eyeware its due respect because they looked at the problem and came up with a solution that worked for the both of us so ( THANK YOU) American Eyeware for looking out.

Always have had a good experience. But have had many issues with the guy that works in the office. He was very rude when my husband called for a receipt and then rude again when he came in. Customer service is a lot of why we go places and if we are going to be treated like dirt and be talked to like trash then we will go elsewhere. I am not sure why this gentlemen can still have a job when he is so rude.

This place is awesome!! Staff is wonderful and the doctor terrific. I had a safe experience here during the pandemic. Their attention to detail is amazing. The selection of frames was limited because of the covid pandemic but as time passed more choices were available. I’m definitely going back for my eye care needs.

I have never had an issue here before normally when I come in everyone is super friendly and they have their stuff together. But today when I came in I have to explain that I spoke with two different people on the phone. All I needed was to replace my glasses I have currently and get new ones. NO EYE EXAM and NOT DIFFERENT GLASSES. The lady in the front had no idea what she was doing and I got annoyed by having to repeat myself over 3 times. She laughed and said “idk why they would tell you that”. Ridiculous.
