worst credit union ever. they are messing with peoples finances and don't know what they are doing. worst customer service. I paid off my credit cards today and am moving my money to First Service Credit Union.

14 years with this bank.7 figures deposited.Numerous loans paid off as agreed.Never an overdraft.STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK.THEY WILL COME AFTER YOU TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR YOUR PERSONAL INTERESTS REGARDLESS OF PERSONAL REASONING BEHIND ANY FAILURE YOU MAY HAVE EXPERIENCED.During the pandemic I, as well as many, experienced a great hardship after reduced work, cancelled projects and reduced direct deposits.How did Community Resource Credit Union react to my hardships?CRCU hired an attorney to sue me over credit card debt.NOT overdrafts, fees and other banking expenses, just simple credit card debt.My credit card debt was about $11K.FIRST THEY SEND OUT A PERSON TO DELIVER A LETTER FROM CRCU EXPLAINING THE DEBT OWED.THIS IS THE VERIFICATION TO PROVE WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED AND WHERE THE CONSTABLE CAN FIND YOU TO SERVE THE COURT DOCUMENTS.GREAT DECEPTION.While they could have written off the loss, as many banking institutions do, I refused to let that happen and requested additional time to pay off the debt.While they offered reduced settlements, I often stressed the fact that my debt was MY DEBT and only I was responsible for paying it off.HUGE MISTAKE.During the lag time of acquiring the funds to make payments, they systematically- through personal decisions of certain banking staff- debited my account for maximum amounts according to the amounts of the deposits that were being made to my account- without as much as a phone call to advise.At the end of the crisis- up to the moment I was about to pay off the whole and complete amount due- CRCU was still offering the reduced amount.Why?Had I only paid the reduced request CRCU was offering, I would not EVER be able to open any other bank account- AT ANY BANKING INSTITUTION ANYWHERE- as long as a judgement remained unpaid FULLY.THIS WAS THEIR TACTIC- TO FURTHER RUIN ME TO THE FULLEST EXTENT.I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT I OWED AND OWE THEM NOTHING TODAY. I ALSO PAID THE ATTORNEY FEES OF ABOUT $1100.

Credit card services are 3rd partied out and the credit union isn’t much help. I’ve had debit transactions not go through with money in the bank that has left me stranded in another state. I’ve also moved and every time I try to verify my identity the correct address is not on file. I’ve called, gone in person and talked to the 3rd party people and no one can fix my address for some reason. I’ve been banking with CRCU for 10 years and it’s really going down hill.

I love banking with you guys, but PLEASE PLEASE it would be nice if you would be on point of putting out envelopes for your customers who NEED to make night deposits! There’s been so many times where I drive off because there’s no envelopes, I could buy some but you guys can EASILY provide them! Thank you!!

It's very difficult to get in touch with this bank over the phone. Customers must go in person. Inconvenient.

Pretty sure I was just profiled because of tattoos and skin color it being the looks given while trying to open a business bank account, Then once shown correct paperwork to branch manager she took paperwork quickly looked over , went to back to "ask" then came back and told me goto another bank they don't want to take liability although this is my bank that I have built a relationship with for a few years sad that this is still a thing in 2022

Met with assistant manager on garth road. Linda Whitely. Amazing customer service. Went above and beyond to help us and meet our expectations. Definitely need to see her and open an account there. So reliable, and trustworthy. Would give 10 stars if I could.
