Out of the two to three years I have been part of this bank, and I am very disappointed in the experience. My account was hacked 3 times without any notice or calls. Then when I found out and reported it, I signed a Fraud Affidavit. The company pretty much told me that they can't finalize it because I have to go to the place the money was taken and talk to them, to get authorization that it is fraud. That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Why would I spend excess money to make my own account go in to the negative? Each experience with fraud I've lost hundreds of dollars because of this.

Do not use this credit Union they are the worst. I heard that if you have fraudulent charges they won’t reimburse the amount and now they are doing the same thing to me, letting someone steal my money!!!! Go to community resource credit union in Baytown or somewhere better or you will regret ever using TDECU

Want you money stolen? TDECU is for you. You can put restrictions on your card for only your area and someone from California is magically using your card to buy things, multiple times. So you’re stuck continually changing your card. And nothing is done about the person constantly stealing or trying to steal money. Your information is not safe. I think they compromised their security systems to allow this to continually happen.

I would pass on this bank as NO ONE will return a call! I have a savings and checking account but if there are any problems you will be directed to a call center that will not let you speak to the branch. If you do manage to get transferred you will have to leave a message that will never be returned or acknowledged in any way.

I don't understand TDECU’s approval criteria for credit cards. After they tell you that you are pre-approved, they notify you that you were denied. Even when other entities have approved me without any problem. They seem unprofessional to me.

Horrible experience!!! Customer Service is poor , people hack into your bank account and you say something be prepared to receive a letter in the mail saying you have limited contact and get threats on police if you visit the branch... I switched to Shell credit and wow!!! awesome, professional and understanding!

I called ahead of time to change my payment information. I made a bigger payment than the amount die. On the due date, they took the payment again. Of course when the take money is automatic. But when its about them paying you back for an error on their part, it takes 5 to 7 days! My bills did not clear because they have my money!

Me and my sister’s and my girlfriend all have are first credit card with them. 10/10 customer service recommended for anyone that is trying to start building there credit. And you get a gas discount at Bucces

The Baytown location was closed for an unknown reason on March 12 and 13, 2021. No email was sent to customers and no notice on company website advising of the closure. I called client services to try to find an answer regarding my question about the closure. I was put on hold and the representative never came back to the call. By the way, the ATMAt the location was also not working. What is happening? I will be closing my account as I am not confident in keeping my $ in this credit union.
