Took my 2011 GMC Sierra for an Air Bag recall. Kept it for a day and the air bag light is still on. Brought to their attention and they say it’s not part of the recall. And that I would have to have it diagnosed For $200 an hour.
WTH. This is why I hate dealerships. They are just not honest.

I am absolutely not happy with GM. They knew there was an issue with the transmission in the 2024 Traverses manufactured between October and April, but still have not issed a recall. I do not expect to go in and pay for a brand new car upfront, just to have to return 6 days later with an issue. Trent and his supervisor at Jerry's Chevrolet are the only saving grace. They kept in contact with me throughout the whole ordeal and rectifiedthe problem. They are the only reasons I would ever purchase another Chevrolet/GM. Thank y'all for all of your help. They get the 5 star review not GM. GM gets none.

I took my truck in for an appointment on July 2, 2024. I mentioned the issues I was having which was shaking and acceleration stuttering. I figured transmission but also ac was cutting in and out also. I was hoping for a call the next day just to see who my advisor was and who to keep in contact with but no call. I waited to call on Friday and when I did no one knew my name, my truck, reason for my truck being there. I thought this was awkward. Then I remembered I was told to write my name and phone # on a sticky note when I dropped it off. No word yet on my truck that day so they said they would contact me next week. Next week came and I had to call each day. I never got called and never even spoke to my service advisor. After I was able to speak with a manager, I expressed my frustrations and he was able to give me some feedback. Caleb was not rude or anything but, how is it they can tell me all they found right at that moment and how long did they have this info? Why didn't I receive a call? They told me my transmission was needing service. They said it needed a trans temp sensor, and a "triple flush" designed by GM. So flush my trans at 100k miles. I've heard you shouldn't flush at 100k but idk, They are the experts right? They said they were 90% sure it would fix the problem. And if it didn't then I could then replace the Torque Convertor. I just wasn't convinced at that moment. I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion and both said they never heard of a "triple flush" and you shouldn't flush at this point. So idk. At that point I was without my truck going on 2 weeks, 2 weeks of paying for a rental because they were so backed up with their loaners. I had lost all faith in a business that did not communicate effectively with their customers. "They didn't care about me" is how I felt. Horrible service from beginning to end. They were great when I bought my Suburban from them a couple years ago. I'll never return. Oh and one last thing, there was an open recall that my insurance made me aware of on my truck so I called them to look into that and fix it and they didn't even do that. They forgot about that like they forgot about me. I took my truck and left on the 15th or something like that with nothing done to it. And they didn't even have to courtesy to try and waive the diagnostics fee that they said they did. Great Job Jerry
