I don’t know why this great hospital would be associated with this pharmacy. My 84 year old grandmother was getting discharged from the hospital after being hospitalized for 5 days and needed some blood thinner medication to take home. We received 4 pills with no instructions, and upon asking questions- we were faced by sarcasm for asking a simple questions. Were the pills going to be 10mg? Pharmacist answer was “they don’t make this pill as 10mg anywhere in the world so you have to take two”. After simple questions, the pharmacists ended up taking the pills back and asked us to go look for those pills somewhere else. Keep in mind that these pills that are extremely important for my grandmother, and taken away all because of the ego of the pharmacists.
BEWARE! This pharmacy is not part of the hospital so nothing can be done if you have a negative experience as we did. You’re better off having the doctor send your medicine to your trusted pharmacy where you know they won’t take your medicine away for asking too many questions about medication.
