The Chireno Grocery and Market is more widely known as the Chireno Cafe. They do not make their name noticable with their signage though. While mostly a cafe it looks and says it's a market Trust me this is no market. Outside of maybe some milk and sodas and a few other refrigerated items, there are no groceries As a cafe however they bring that small town diner feel. Their hamburgers are awesome and tastier than a Whataburger. I was surprised to not find chicken fried steak on the menu given its down home country feel . They do have some very filling open faced sandwiches on the menu. Their Pizza is nothing to write home about, but it is a good option for the small town when dinner gets burned in the oven. Bagged ice is cheaper and comes in larger bags than the local Family Dollar. If you are hungry in Chireno, this is your only option outside of the small donut shop across the street, an option many old-timers take advantage of for breakfast every morning.
