Went into Moon Valley Nurseries to look at a replacement tree as we had heard that they were a good place to look. A young lady named Caitlyn assisted us and was a wealth of knowledge. We were replacing a dead oak tree in our front yard and didn't want the HOA on our backs. Caitlyn was able to explain the differences between the different types of oak trees as well as the pros and cons of each tree. As she filled our heads with all kinds of tree knowledge, we were then able to make an informed decision on the best way to replace the dead tree. Moon would then come out and remove the young dead tree (extra nominal fee) and then plant a brand new Red Oak tree in its place. The tree is guaranteed and they would replace it should something happen during the first year. Caitlyn and Moon provided all the necessary information we needed to ensure that our new tree got off to a great start and grew naturally and correctly in our front yard. Was a new 8' tall Red Oak tree cheap? No, but the price was fair and Moon did all the work and guaranteed their tree and work. The tree planters did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterwords. We are sure glad we met Caitlyn and purchased from Moon Nursery. In looking around and talking to the other staff, we really felt that Moon Nursery was honest and a first class operation. I highly recommend stopping into Moon and checking out what they have to offer.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Brian and his crew from the Conroe location. This crew is extremely professional and we couldn't be happier with the work they did.

We have had a great experience with Moon Nurseries in Conroe Tx. From the beginning with Matt, he helped us pick the perfect tree for our house. He is very knowledgeable & professional. The crew came out today and planted! Brian Mitchell & his guys were wonderful! Planted it perfectly & made sure it was straight & to our satisfaction. Could not be more satisfied with these guys. BE AWARE OF NICKEL AND DIMING!!! They put trees in the ground and have no method to keep them upright (stake them). You call them and ask what do we do if all the trees are sideways and they say you need to pay us to come out and stake them… so I guess you plant a tree with no regards to how it will look or grow. Seemed to me that would be standard. So now we have to pay someone to stake thousands of dollars of trees.

Just redid my landscaping on a home I bought in Montgomery, TX. Went to Moon Valley in Conroe, TX and they were amazing. Rich Abate came to my home, reviewed my needs. We met at the nursery and pick out the plants which were then marked for us. He built on-line photos showing the plants we selected in the designated beds so we could get a visual of the final placement. They were on time to plant them and had a great crew headed up by Juan Carlos. Can't saw enough good about them.

HUGE selection of trees, palms, fruit trees.Very friendly and super helpful employees!The prices were disappointing. Even with a sale they are higher than other places.But I was able to find monstera plants I haven't been able to buy anywhere else. So I'm super pleased.

Conroe Moon Nursery - what a great company! From guaranteed plantings, to upkeep throughout the year, Mitch and Bret his manager made us some great deals. Juan Carlos and his team delivered, planted, staked, watered, put fertilizer, and even left everything cleaner and neater than they found it. We couldn’t be more satisfied. Highly recommend.

I would like to givens shout out to Ben our salesman and Brian our foreman who guided his guys in planting our new Magnolia Tree! really the entire team deserves a high five! all very professional and left our property in excellent condition. looking forward to beautiful shade and flowers on our tree! Absolutely pathetic customer service at this place. I bought 3 trees (each 3 years old) in May for almost $1500 and had them “professionally” plant them 2 weeks later once they finally had time to do it. 2 weeks after planting, 1 of the trees died from transplant shock and they made me buy a $30 bottle of fungicide and try it in my obviously dead tree for a month before they finally came out and fixed it. All good now have 3 good trees and then 4 months later the big tree I bought suddenly died and turned brown in a few days. It got the same water and the same “Super moon juice” that they basically force you to buy. Didn’t matter that it was watered 3 days a week as the other trees were, their quality control person told me well maybe it had too much water or maybe it didn’t have enough water. Blah blah blah bottom line they’re willing to charge me another $500 to replace it so that it can likely die in a few months. I used to be a major fan of this place and would have gladly recommended them but never again. They don’t stand behind their trees unless you buy a very expensive warranty plan for a year and then even then after a year you have no protection. From now on I will go back to the big box store for trees and cross my fingers that they’ll survive just as Moon Valleys trees forced me to cross my fingers. At least I will save a ton of money and will know that I got the tree I picked out vs not being given the one I picked out by Moon Valley.

We have used Moon Valley Nurseries for a few years now. They have a great plant selection and are knowledgeable about which plants are suitable for our Austin climate. They also stand behind their plants with warranties. Today, Angel Veintidos and his crew came out to do some warranty work at our house. They were timely and accurate on the new plantings. Great job guys!!

I cannot express my level of happiness with this nursery. Aside from the amazing selection of trees and plants, the customer service is outstanding. In all the avenues of business I have frequented, there has never been an employee quite as helpful and happy as Mitch Hunter. He is a delight! I will buy from this place forever just because of that alone.

I had a really good visit and purchase experience at Moon Valley Nurseries Conroe today with Caitlyn. I know very little about trees, but I did have specific requirements for a memorial tree. She made the process so simple by educating me along the way and showing me several options. And then to top it off Matt/Mgr made the experience even better. I’m glad I went to Moon to purchase this very special tree! Great place and super employees!
