I went in for a short oil change as I’m a disabled vet and unable to do anything like that physically anymore and during that maintenance job they disconnected my engine belt, didn’t say anything, and have left me on the side of the road for almost 2 hours now while they attempted to contact a store manager who turned the phone off for a while. After the third call to customer support they finally set me up with a tow to a mechanic shop near my house that is known for ripping people off cuz it was the closest and told me that even though it should rightfully be a quick fix it will take several days. I missed a Va appointment and lapsed on my pain medication for a severe spinal trauma and they can’t even give an eta for anything.

I read the reviews and I should have listened, but I like to take things with a grain of salt and give places a chance. I just moved to the area. I’ve been a customer of Take 5 since they bought out Bolton’s, and I was a customer of Bolton’s since I got my first car. My partner has as well. I went to get an inspection today, and that is the last time I will ever go to any Take 5 for an inspection or oil change. I will find someone who doesn’t treat young women differently from men. I didn’t want to believe the reviews until it happened to me. I waited in line for 30 minutes, went through the inspection, and their plug in machine (I’ve never even had this done for an inspection before) wasn’t working, so they needed to send me to a different line. They made me pay first (I should have said no) and made it seem like they would just have me switch lanes. They made me wait through the entire line again because the men in front of me “had things to do”. Yes I actually heard them say this. I have things to do too! So after waiting another 30 minutes, I worked up the confidence to ask if I could get a discount on the inspection (I’ve never asked for a discount before but I was pretty upset and felt discriminated against) as it was $25.50. The last time I got my inspection at the Take 5 back in my home town it was less than $8, and sometimes free if I got an oil change. The manager said “No it’s a state fee so we can’t discount it.” Which I knew was a lie because of my past experiences. So while working up the courage to ask for a refund I asked if it was the same price everywhere just to see if he would lie again and he said “Yes it’s the same price. It’s a state fee.” I’m from Lubbock, Texas (which is in the state) and it was $7.33 every year. Maybe the rules have changed, but he could have at least offered a discount on my next oil change. He could have even offered a water bottle, I’ve usually been offered a drink at Take 5. It took a lot of courage from me (I’m shy) to even say anything, so I was just quiet after that even though I wanted to get a refund and go somewhere else out of principle I had already started crying and just wanted to be done. He had me redo the entire inspection and sent me on the way with a “sorry for the wait”. But not sorry you let all the men behind me go first? I hate feeling discriminated against when I have to get things done for my car. I already bring my partner with me to Discount Tire because they always have taken advantage, but I thought Take 5 would be safe like it was where I’m from. I thought wrong. There’s so many other places to get an oil change from, I recommend you go to one of those places instead of Take 5. Or at least don’t go to this Take 5 if you’re young or a woman.

What a joke. We were there for over 25 minutes, sitting in the bay, and nobody did a thing.When I asked why, the manager told me that they need at least 3 people to work on each car, which is nonsense.After 5 more minutes, we simply drove off.It's a great place if you like watching workers sitting around.

Terrible service. The kids there are rude and the service is just horrible. They also charged the wrong amount on my fleet account. And it was a pain to get it credited back. I don't use them anymore.

Wish I had stood my ground and not tried to use this Take 5 again. Two years ago they stripped out the oil filter on my expedition.. became an issue to get fixed. Last summer they left a rag blocking my air filter.. so while I already had enough frustration to never go back, my husband prefers oil changes done there to be entered in the system for future trade in value. So yesterday I went for an oil change, after waiting awhile and watching guys huddling around the hood while asking for multiple tools.. I asked what the problem was. I was ignored until I blew my horn and demanded an answer. A young inexperienced guy finally told me they were having a hard time getting the filter off. I asked them to just put the plug in and fill with oil so I could take it to ford. I told him they had messed up my car twice before so I did not want to go through it again. He walked away and they continued. I asked for the manager and was laughed at until I got very upset. I told them I wanted them I wanted the area manager name... was told there is none while they continued to laugh, ignore my requests and be disrespectful. They did whatever they wanted to my car with no regard to my request.After calling the corporate number I was given a case number but still no resolve.Ford inspected their work and sure enough they had stripped out the filter again, missing screws in my skid plate and did not use synthetic that I paid for.Absolutely worthless service and zero respect.

Always professional and caring! After greeting me they offer water! I don't know why because the service is so quick I never have time to drink the water but thank you all so much! I really love the fact that they tell you what they are doing as they do it makes me feel comfortable and confident they are giving their best service! Definitely Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Arrived at this location on Friday afternoon for an oil change. They were super busy, I was 5th car in my line. Was greeted immediately by a friendly technician. Line moved relatively fast and once in the bay, service was completed within about 10min. Ethan the technician was efficient and friendly. All Staff was friendly and overall a great visit. Price is alittle high, but for the service given I don't mind paying itService: Oil change

Took my Honda, to Take 5 Oil, the crew were amazing! Twice they asked if I needed any cold water, they were informative, answered all my questions and reminded me of the typical times to repair or have checked for future car care. Very impressive.

I have been coming to this location for about a year now. I recently thought I would just give another shop a chance to see if their prices were lower and just to see how their service was. Now I will say that it was a Saturday morning and they were super busy when I pulled up, they had all bays full and 5 cars ahead of me that were not in bays so after waiting in line for over 30 minutes and there being no signs that it would be my turn soon, I left the Valvoline shop and came here! All of their bays were also full BUT here's where it was a different and much better experience than i had at their competitor's establishment: I was greeted within 2 minutes of pulling up and offered a water. I was in a bay 10 minutes after I arrived and my oil change was complete and I was driving away 10 minutes later. The employees are ALWAYS professional and polite and they actually DON'T always recommend changing the air filter every time I come to them. Crew was very busy the day I visited. Changed oil in my 2015 GMC PICK-up and performed state inspection excellent group of employees were moving cars through the three bays very smoothly. I’ll use these folks again.

Love this place! I like to take care of business first thing in the morning. I have a little one so it’s a plus for me to stay in the car. On top of that it’s fast service. Austin, the tech that attend me was very professional. As he was attending my car he was speaking out load where I can hear the step by step procedures which was awesome. Good service overall highly recommended.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement
