I loved this gym when I started with my daughter a year ago but unfortunately, it is extremely dirty, the floors are full of hair and so on, apart from the insecurity in the parking lot is horrible today I just saw a man trying to open a car, I called and I don't know if they could They charge so much money and cannot guarantee the safety of their clients. I left the parking lot really scared and worried about the elderly people who were coming out!! Please do something!!!!!!!!

Mistakenly enrolled in the wrong location because Lifetime system was down. Was charged 4 months for this location without coming to it any of it. Asked for a refund when we realized we had enrolled in the wrong location and was told that when signed up online we agreed with the membership price.
Information is always misleading (that's a multi location problem).

Don’t fall for it, it’s no different than a $20 gym.
I always reserve my spot in group fitness classes, and I show up there but the class is full and my spot taken. Either they overbook classes or they have no control over who’s attending. This is very frustrating, I didn’t expect to have to deal with this when I’m paying $190 for a gym membership.
The staff at the reception also have no clue.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I just signed up. Using a discount from my health provider to win the deal. Needed access to a pool for triathlon training and this place checked all the boxes.
I feel like a king here so I need to get used to that.
The staff was very helpful in getting my membership set up from BCBS to their system

They don’t answer their phones - I wanted to join. I gave them a second star because their pool looks nice

Nice facility but did not like that that the gym is always crowded. You have to wait for maschines also when I first signed up I asked if someone could show me where all the equipment was located since I was new to the gym. They had to schedule me with someone. I was fine with that and was looking forward to this appointment turns out that it was a personal trainer that was interested in selling me training sessions when she realized I was not interested in trading sessions she completely changed her attitude tried to finish our conversation because she said she had another appointment even though our appointment was for 1 hour and we only met for like 25 mints. I told her that all I needed was someone to show me around the gym and show me where the equipment I use was and she said that that was not her job that I could go to the front and see if someone else could help with that. I thought that was rude, she could have used the rest of the time we had left in our appointment which would not have been long all I wanted to know is where the equipment was and not want to look lost walking around the whole gym for the work out mashines i ussually use. that could have taken no more that 10-15mints.

I’ve had a family membership on/off for a few years now and after this summer I’m not sure I’ll jump back on the bandwagon. While the staff is nice, and I’ve had no direct problems per se, I don’t believe the price of membership justifies amenities available.
Few thoughts:
The steam, sauna, and lockers rooms are great (generally feel like THIS is what you’re mostly paying for)
The gym upstairs is always crowded and it’s not a huge area, respectively in comparison to the size of the club itself
The kids club was okay, but I’m going to suggest hiring more staff to help monitor what actually going on since my kids stopped wanting to go after 3 drop offs due to it being “too” rowdy and the older kids bullying the younger ones without any tangible staff interference
The pool area outside is nice, but the cabanas and all but vanished. Most kids now swim indoors and it’s definitely too crowded at peak times
…. All in all, this is more of a country club type experience. If you’re looking for a place to just work out you’ll find cheaper and better options. If you are the type to lounge around and bring the family over just to chill/be active then this is a good bet (it’s houston after all, and we’re restricted with weather issues 50% of the year)
I’ve read several reviews complaining of cars getting broken into and luckily we didn’t have this issue, but I can see it as there’s no parking at all sometimes. For the amount of $$ families spend - lifetime, get more security or a guard that just patrols the area (vigilantly).
Hope this helps!

BRIAN (on the sales team) IS AMAZING!!!! JOHNNY (at the poolside cafe) offers 5 STAR luxury resort service and of course PAM (personal trainer/life coach) IS EVERYTHING… book her now.
Thank you again, Brian for the tour, signing us up & assisting our family as we become acclomated to this wonderful new world.
The Cypress location is filled with an incredible 5-star service staff, beautiful non-judgmental members, family friendly energy and yet there is still a vibe of adult sexiness… (w/ bottle service by the pool??).. sure it’s a lil pricey… but worth every cent.. for health, wellness, fitness & luxury.

You can’t add a 26 year old to your membership but people can come with 5-6 kids that are not even their children. Come on..

A quick update: This gym keeps going downhill, like someone else mentioned, it really feels more like a summer camp. You can’t find parking in the morning, especially on the weekends. Locker rooms and Restrooms are never clean, but they keep raising the price of the membership, oh and smoothies are like $15 now and they taste awful for some reason. Lifetime is not what it used to be back in the day.
I am not sure where to start but it has gotten so bad. First of all, good luck sticking to your workout plan for that day, the gym is packed from 6 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week.
The restrooms on the 2nd floor are never clean, especially on the weekend, always out of paper towels and the floor is disgusting.

My wife and I recently got memberships at this gym, mainly because of the kid services that we were informed of during our tour of the gym. We were very much sold on the option to be able to bring our 13 month old boy with us to the kid center so that he can socialize with other kids while we either work or work out. During our tour, we informed our guide that he is not walking yet but we were told that he would be allowed in the toddler room, which has ample space for him to roam around and plenty of toys to play with and does not require a reservation. However, when we returned the following day, we were then told he would only be allowed in the infant room, which is a tiny room with rockers and baby toys. We gave it a few tries but to what we assumed what would happen, he grew bored of it pretty quick which lead him to cry. This would prompt the attendant to contact us to come get him and end our workouts early. Because of this, we are strongly considering canceling our membership because what is the point of going when we can’t get a full workout due to him being subjected to the tiny infant room. Just as a forewarning to all parents considering getting a membership.

My wife and I are both founding members of this club since it opened about 5 years ago. The gym started off very nice and we really enjoyed it. We are very active and are there 5-6 days every week.
As years have passed our monthly dues have continued to rise. Looking back at our credit card statment I can see that our dues have went up $90 since we have joined.
We feel as if the gym has nothing to show for this much of an increase in rates, if anything it has quality of the gym has declined. So we are now paying much more to get LESS.
Here are just a few of my complaints for those considering joining.
1. The pool area is very hot in the mornings. Since they do not do a very good job at circulating the air it makes it very hard to breathe for those that are swimming competitvely.
2. Due to lifetime renting out their pool to swim teams during the week and weekend, you are limited on swim times. The kids swimming lessons also block you from being able to swim. Lifetime is making extra money by doing this. Its not fair to memebers to be limited to certain part of the facilities when they are paying $250 a month.
3. The pool area ourside used to be very nice, with the gazeebos covered and padding for all the chairs. That is all gone now and has never been replaced.
4. The basketball gym is also rented out to cherr teams so your limited on use of it as well. Once again lifetime is double dipping.
5. Youre now limited on parking as they want to make more money they now allow for people to rent parking spaces.
6. Kids are everywhere!!
7. Parking lot is not safe. They blocked off an exit/entrance saying it was supposed to help with all the cars getting broken into. I have not seen a security guard lately, but they were not helpful anyways.
8. The weight area is sooo crammed packed. They added some things recently and have just squeezed all the machines and benches together. Honestly the weight area is not big at all for the size of the gym.
9. The cardio are is hot! If you plan to run more than 15 min you need to bring a few towels because it gets veey hot very quick.
The AC's are controlled by corporate apparently so they cannot make it cooler.
10. Locker rooms have gone way downhill. Towels are all gone and lots of trash all kver the place.
11. You can tell the employees are also fed up because it seems they have a high turn over of employess working the locker rooms.
Hope this feed back helps anyone on the fence. As for my wife and I, we are discussing alternate gym options as we finally feel like we have had enough. We refuse to pay more and get less.
