I've been here twice and was not satisfied with the breakfast tacos either time. The eggs were burnt on my second order. The taco sauce is to-die-for though. Maybe their non-breakfast tacos are why this place seems to be so popular or maybe I am going to the wrong location (Gaston Ave).

Go here, it's so good. Ordered two breakfast tacos and it was so much food! Salsa is homemade and so special. Clean place and home cooking.

These are the best tacos that I've had in the three years I've lived in Dallas. They are straight up street tacos. They are perfect. There is none of the "infusion" crap that a lot of places are attempting to do in order to stand out. You won't find weird non-taco ingredients (like Cheetos or bbq sauce) in these tacos. Around lunch time there is usually a wait but you can call ahead and pick up.

Fantastic. Great service and great food. Prices are excellent as well. We love to grab tacos and go sit at White Rock. Not too much parking but everyone makes it work. Easy to wait outside while they make your food or you can call ahead.

If you are looking for atmosphere or presentation, look elsewhere. If youare looking for the tastiest pastor tacos in town, look here. I've eaten at over 100 taquerias in dfw - everything from gas station tacos to upscale, and these are mine and my wife's favorite. I can only comment on the pastor tacos from the Lakewood location, as this are the only ones I have tried. with lime squeezed on them and some salsa verde y roja, they are unbeatable. I have missed them while living in Arizona, and so happy to have them again.

If you know Authentic Tacos then you know these are the best in DFW!! Love that the tacos aren't so greasy. Make sure you get an horchata to help refresh your mouth from the salsa verde.

Definitely get the carnitas tacos. Avoid the beef and chicken tacos; they were pretty dry and devoid of flavor. Simple taco shop that is part of a gas station, so don't expect much in terms of ambiance. Not sure if the carnitas tacos are the best I have had in Dallas, but they are toe-to-toe with the best in the area. Can't speak for the lengua or cabeza tacos as those aren't my thing. Thumbs up for the green and red salsas (they pack some heat!). This place would be an excellent choice for a quick lunch or dinner.

I've had my fair share of tacos in my lifetime. And these are best tacos I've ever had

Best street tacos in Dallas! We placed an order for pick up and the food was ready right when we got there. The service was excellent! Both ladies at the front were very kind and got through the line quickly. The ingredients all seemed very fresh, and we will definitely be back soon!!!

Ever since moving to Dallas I've been in the hunt for a good pastor taco. Had seen a blogger post this place and was excited to try it. Boy was I disappointed. Pastor was overcooked, tortillas were cold and not even warmed. I got a quesadilla and the cheese didn't even melt. I got take out because of COVID but won't be going back. Luckily it was cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.

Even with Covid-19 they are still pretty busy! If you're looking for an authentic street taco spot this is it. 7 bucks got me 3 tacos (chicken, streak, pork) in flour tortillas and a fresh Fanta. The food was great! The sauce was spicy but tolerable and delicious. Elevated the food. If you're feeling like they need a lil humph add some salt and lime. Definitely gonna come back.

This place was delicious and friendly staff. Under 2 dollars for authentic street tacos. Skip the over priced marketed taco places. These are what real tacos are about.

So me and a friend found this place on the way to lake.. we just knew it was going to be a hit because the menu is nice and short and straight to the point. It was very clean inside, I'm not sure if it's because of CoVid or if it's always like that, however it was clean. The service was nice the ladies were really chill and straight to the point. So food... I ordered two tacos and a quesadilla. However the chicken was hard as rocks.. I think it make have been sitting out too long after cooking or just cooked too long period. They give you cilantro and limes on the side.. cheese is an extra .25 cent.. The tacos wasn't nasty.. but if the chicken was bettered cooked I would've enjoyed it more. I def had to drench my taco in the sauce they have to be able to eat it. Will I go back.. maybe not..

I love the taco places were I struggle to pronounce the name as none of my Spanish classes from high school stuck. That said, I saw this location on yelp and decided, "yeah, this is dinner."They are in a small like plaza, it's them and then a convenience store next door, so the parking is very slim. Upon entering, the place appeared clean and they are taking COVID into consideration. All employees had on gloves, masks and they enforced 6 feet distancing when ordering. There was no signage but I think they even required you to wait outside after placing your order to avoid over crowding. They also had a bottle of hand sanitizer for those looking for a quick hand clean.Tacos come with onions and cilantro. Grilled onions are available but have to be ordered on the side. Cheese has to be requested, and any extra sauce is .25 cents. All of this is reasonable no biggie. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and two steak tacos. When I got to my destination, I opened up my meal and was shocked I had to basically build my own taco. (Add the cilantro, onions, cheese and sauce). I still was fine with this. The first bite was the chicken tacos and wow, what a disappointment. It was clear this chicken had sat out all day and/or overcooked as it was HARD as a rock. I was so disappointed, as my chicken fell out the back of my taco you could literally hear it the chicken was so hard. The steak were better, but only left me with half a meal.Don't get the chicken tacos.

Outside of Mexico City, these are far and away the best traditional tacos I've ever had. Try the tripa. I recommend it a little crispy. They have good breakfast tacos as well. I honestly take everyone who visits and they've only had good things to say. It's more of an indoor taco stand than a sit-down restaurant, so I don't recommend going if you want to be waited on. That said, the lady at the counter is awesome.

If you're ever in the Dallas area and hungry for some authentic Mexican food or "street tacos," look no further. This place is definitely a hidden gem for taco lovers and foodies. It's located off of Garland/Gaston rd in the Lakewood area. You might miss it since the restaurant looks to have been converted from an old gas station, very unassuming little place. Small inside with not much room to sit down and eat, so most pick people up to go. Right when you walk in, you can hear and feel the grease from cooking in the back. I ordered 2 steak, 2 chicken, 2 al pastor tacos, 2 quesadillas, and the Alambre (steak fajita). They give you a very generous amount to cilantro, onion, limes, and green/red hot sauce. This was all under $30. These tacos are absolutely amazing. Although the tacos are small in size, they pack a flavorful punch. The quesadillas aren't as good as I would have expected, but that's being picky. The green sauce is a little bit milder than the red. You definitely get your money's worth from this place. Excellent food and generous portions.

I LOVE THE TRIPE TACOS. It's crispy and chewy. All the tacos here are goood though. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I LOVE this place. LOVE it. They gave tripe ( which they serve regular or crunchy at your request) and lengua tacos which are to die for. Great job!

We've had the Pastor and steak tacos quite a few times from here. Its fast, cheap, the pastor are good but the steak are better in my opinion. The salsas they give you are a green avocado sauce that's a spicy and a red sauce that's spicy so be careful if your sensitive to spice when adding the salsa on.

Delicious tacos - literally unmatched. My order is always correct, on phone or in person. Staff is friendly. Food is just fire.

Bad service. Don't typically post anything negative, but ordered an order over the phone and they forgot to put my order in. Lady in the front told me I called the wrong store and made me wait as she called all the other stores. She recognized I did talk with her and she didn't apologize or try to make the mistake right. Let other people order while I was waiting and then had to wait. Update: she appears to not work there any longer. Have gone back and the food is still really good.

Best tacos in Dallas. Straight forward and cheap. Have yet to try the original location but will be hitting it up soon. Friendly staff. My go to spot when I'm jonesing for some tacos.

If ever in the Dallas/Irving Texas area you MUST stop at this little Taco joint! It's small and the lot shared space with a Gas Station but this "little" place is HUGE on Flavor!! Amazing prices to match amazing food and the staff is so nice and helpful (the cashier who helped me had a kick ass tattoo on her arm - big thanks to her for the help) a MUST stop on your Dallas adventure! Coming here again before we drive home! 9 tacos REAL (Mexican) Coka Cola (real sugar no corn syrup) large Lemonade and some extra sauce all under $20!

You need these tacos in your life. $1.50 a piece and they are AMAZING. Opened late as well. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

Authentic food. Delicious. Take to go the place is too small. Our go to order is Gringas se pastor and chorizo tacos. The sauce is really spicy so beware. Horchata is good during the day. It's watered down at night.
