DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.Worst Experience ever. I called the1-800 # and was told there was a car for me at the Hyatt Dallas location. To say that the employee at this location was rude would be an understatement. Not only was our car not ready when it was supposed to be, after waiting an additional half an hour the Hyatt/Avis employee basically yelled at us saying not enough time had passed before we approached the counter.He was rude and would not contact DFW where he gets his cars from. An hour later he offered us a car that was sitting in the parking lot, and since we had no other option we took it. The car was on empty when we took it over, so we had to drive straight to gas station to fill it up with gas and clean it from a previous user (more then likely the Avis/Hyat employee himself). Not only did the car not have gas, it was dirty and had unbearable smell of smoke. We had to buy Clorox wipes to clean the car and air freshener to be able and make our trip to the next destination. I called Avis right away to complain, however they had no other cars to offer us, so we had to keep the car at hand. To top it all off, after my trip I was charged $495 by Avis, for car smelling of smoke. Now I have to deal with customer service calls to get my money back.I will never use their services again. Say away from this location.

2nd time coming to this location and they don’t have a vehicle ready for me. I even prepaid in advance this time, hoping that would ensure my vehicle available at the designated pick up time, only to find out they are still waiting for the car to come from the airport. I’m a Dallas local who travels for business. For the 2nd time now Avis has put me behind schedule.

Big Hispanic Guy is trash. I know with Navy Federal covers everything including liability. He needs to be fired. He is a very unprofessional liar. He was dressed in a t shirt and nike shorts. Very unprofessional look. I will never go to this location again.

Was ensured by Avis employee at the 1-800 # there was a car for me at the Hyatt / downtown Dallas location. The rude and completely unhelpful Hyatt/Avis employee told me he had no cars and couldn't (or wouldn't) contact DFW where he "gets all his cars from". I did get an incredible upgrade from the DFW/Avis location that saved my trip. I will always make certain to use the Avis on Galloway in Mesquite where everything is smooth and the customer service is impeccable.

I had a reservation for 4:00pm at this location Jose bad customer service. I would never come here again and I was told a different price. Then I was told they don't take debit cards but customer service said credit or debit when i made reservation over phone. I sat there 3 hrs for nothing could have brought the vehicle I made the reservation for. Poor customer service and I was told $673.00 with a $200-$300 deposit on top of my reservation I did over phone I will not go to them again ever.

A j*** move or just laziness!They forgot to check my returned rental and charged me 2 extra days. At least Avis as a company reimbursed me!

They called and canceled my car a half-hour before pickup,then charged me anyway.They "say" they don't have any cars, but in truth... but then, why would they rent me a car I reserved for $60 when they can turn around and rent it for $120 last minute to a walk-in.Now you have 4 reviews. ALL stating the same thing. Never again.

Do not make a reservation here for a one way rental. It will get cancelled! The regional manager will cancel all one way rentals at the last moment and have employees lie to say no cars are available when that's not really the case. That's fine if you don't want to allow one way rentals but you should either not accept the reservation or cancel the reservation within a timely manner. Thanks for ruining my trip!

It took only 10 min to rent my white mustang at DFW. Pleasant staff, quick service, affordable price. I recommend!

Don't waste your time. While trying to get a rental car for my business trip, I was treated with the most disrespect in my life. Adrian Johnson needs to be coached and trained on customer service. Not only did I have to call to even get him to come to the desk, because he was on "break." When he finally came over, he told me that because the reservation was booked only 40 mins ago, he doesn't have a car in the size I reserved. After I told him that I would take the extra charge of $15 a day and I still needed to get a car, he told me that was totally under his control. Not only did he tell me to drive to the airport witch was "not that far away"... he didn't let me rent a car. He didn't give me the contact to any manager and he said that he was the manager... the hotel manager was totally shocked of his behavior and apologized on his behalf. I ended up missing an appointment with my fiancé. This entire branch should be shut down.

Reserved a car for our trip out of state, when we came to the office at the Hyatt in Dallas there were no cars available. What’s the point of making a reservation if they don’t “reserve” a car. Bad service and unhelpful employees.

I booked a car on Thursday for Friday. The reservation was confirmed. I flew halfway across the country. As I'm on the way to the car rental location I get a call saying my reservation for 2:30 was being pushed back to 4 because they don't have cars available. I get there then they tell me that I most likely won't get a car. Wasted a huge amount of my time and money.

It's okay except that no rental cars available at both airports and local sites, so we had to use my car to go out of town.I could have rented one from payless except payless rents to ages 25 to 70 , since am 73 , I couldn't rent one.
