Chinese food and the feeling at this spot is great. Service is always prompt even when they have a full house. The service was very helpful and observant. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.

Chinese food, mmm, super satisfying. It was so fresh. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. The place has a nice atmosphere.

chinese food and the scene at this location is super good. Nothing to complain about. Looking forward to returning with my relatives.

The food was good and the delivery service was quick but I was overcharged on the bill. Going by the menu on the website, my bill should have been $16.00 but they charged me $23.00 and that was without tip. Not sure where the extra $7 went to. Would maybe order again... maybe not... make sure the pricing is accurate.

If you like consistently good Chinese food, then Betty's has it. I always order the Orange chicken and Veggie fried rice. The Betty's wings a treat as well. You really can't go wrong

Good spot for Chinese food. Bring your hunger - portions are large. I see why this place has so many great reviews.

You can’t go wrong with this place! The staff is always friendly, and their food is really good. The Sweet & Sour Chicken / Fried Rice is my favorite.

Would not order again. I ordered delivery and it was relatively fast, about 30 mins on a Wednesday night. We had the orange chicken, best around chicken, small wonton soup, and crab rangoons. The portions were very small compared to other Chinese restaurants. Two dishes and two small appetizers were $40 before tip. There was more sweet and sour sauce for the rangoons than there was wonton soup! The overall taste was fair. Nothing astounding for the price.

Would rather eat pei wei off the floor than eat here again. Everything tasted like frozen food with no flavor.

Came all the way from the Cliff.... They definitely burn the rice the way I like it. Love the crew! It's really one of best Chinese restaurants in Dallas that know how to make good Chinese

Beyond disappointed on how this visit went. When it comes to Chinese cuisine i keep my expectations real and low. But this was very terrible. For starters i paid too much for the portions i was given. Ordered the Generals Chicken & broccoli and the pre frozen broccoli was so sad when i stabbed my fork into it. The taste was just as sad. When i called and informed about the half empty box of chicken the worker confusedly stated 'it was full when i closed the box.' Then went on to say 'those are pretty big pieces of chicken' 'did it all go to one side...' and my favorite after he was clearly upset at the fact that the container was half empty and he failed to convince me that 8 pieces of chicken was their 'PORTION SIZE' - 'wAnT mE tO mAkE yOu AnOtHeR oNe?' (WELL I DIDNT PAY NEARLY $30 for crap food just to be shorted out on portions) The combination noodles were SO SALTY! No surprise on that. And the egg rolls - GIRRRL - don't get me started on those. Like WHAT ARE YOU IN THERE? Are you even veggies? Terrible Terrible experience. Not worth the price. Not worth the disappointment. It was so bad I'm whiling to just drive a few more minutes into East Dallas and visit the good ol' Egg Roll Hut. (Which also has sucked since the change in management. But definitely get your portions and pray the cooks preparing are not so generous with the salt.)

Been coming here for years. The hot and sour soup is actually spicy, and for the entree my favorite is the general's chicken.

The worst place ever. Overcooked and greased frozen chicken. If you wanna pay 30 plus dollars for a pile of mush, this is your place. Never again, wish I could give 0 stars

Ordered on a Friday evening for delivery. Had it within 30 minutes exactly. The lady that took the order was quick and polite. The gentleman that delivered was fast and courteous. The food was good. It's not great. But it is rare that Chinese food places put bean sprouts in their fried rice. That's one of my favorite things. So 5 stars for the customer service.

Preface: I might try this place at "normal" hours to see if the dishes would be fresh then. Four stars if the food were fresh and flavorful, but three stars because it did its job of feeding me. YES: 1) super fast service; we got there around 10pm, ordered after a few minutes of deliberating, and our food was ready to go in about 8 minutes. (We were the only customers there, so.) 2) the Beef and Broccoli ($11.50). I've never had sweet Beef and Broccoli before, so that was an unusual situation, but everything was cooked well, the broccoli wasn't overdone, and the bamboo and carrots were a great addition. 3) THE COMBINATION FRIED RICE ($10 for a small) HAD BBQ PORK IN IT. Many Asian-staffed Chinese restaurants have stopped including chasu in their combination fried rice, so real chasu was such a pleasant surprise! Nah: 1) the meat in the fried rice tasted like it had sat out for a little too long, but I suppose that's what happens when you order at 10pm. :/ No stomach issues the next day, but those were some semi-trepidatious moments of shrugging and eating more. 2) the steamed rice was dry, but again, 10pm. (Also, in regard to the comments about how this may be passed over because it's not bougie enough, I have never seen such an eclectic and non-Asian Chinese restaurant. Not a single Asian there (but for us), funky decor with simplified Chinese characters, all-English menus, and have you seen the menu names???)

Food is less that average.... it seems like anything frozen from Trader Joe’s would be better. A little over prized not good at all.

For the price this wasn't worth it. And I won't be going back. The dumplings were tiny for the price. The egg roll had no flavor. The chicken chunks for my sesame chicken were huge and the chicken didn't have much flavor and was dry on the inside. Nooooot at all worth it.

The prices are completely different online when you order and when you actually pick. They would not honor the online price. False advertising and bad customer service. However the food was good. But 16 to 23 is a big jump. When you arrive! Fix the pricing.

Every dish off the menu has been 100% satisfying for whatever flavor I happen to crave. Long time customer and highly recommend

Just moved to M streets area and was excited to try the take out Chinese food. This place is a huge disappointment. It's overpriced and the food lacks flavor and was soggy. Ordered the sesame chicken. The portion was small, overpriced and soggy. Also ordered the beef and broccoli and we were left wondering where the beef was. The sauce tasted like dishwater and the fried rice was dry and flavorless. Spent $30 on crap tonight. Super disappointed!!!

Absolutely awful meal! Sweet and sour contains barely any meat, 95% batter and comes with no vegetables and just a container of sauce to pour over. Steamed dumplings are like eating a mouthful of flour paste. Never again

I don't think it's truly a 5* but it deserves to be listed @ 4, so this is m bending the rules a bit. I'm not sure why this place isn't ranked higher. Maybe because people in the Uptown area are too pretentious to appreciate a simple, as-expected, delicious and affordable place like Betty's. The location is great. My wife and I grabbed takeout from here last night -- General's chicken (obviously), Beef and Broccoli, and some steamed dumplings. The food was ready in 10 mins. and was less than $30. The people were friendly and efficient, and the grub was delicious. The ranking doesn't tell the story. Never-mind the locals who need their food to be overpriced to enjoy it. Betty's won't blow your mind, but if you're looking for low-key tasty Chinese, it's your spot.

Seriously the Best Around. I will drive up to 45 minutes to get a meal from this place. My favorite is the garlic beef and orange chicken. Doing it right!

Delicious! Had the egg drop soup, spicy orange Chicken, and combo fried rice! Super good! Definitely top 2 Chinese delivery places nearby!!! Another great experience tonight! Big fans!
