This is truly a delightful neighborhood gem in spite of being hidden away in the Bush Presidential Museum. The restaurant is open, airy and bright with a menu that is extensive and affordable. Service is very efficient and personable without being rushed or intrusive. Great for family events or a cozy lunch. I wish this restaurant would open during the evening.

Cafe 43 is a safe place to dine. The service is great as well as the food. An extra, you can visit the Bush Center exhibit before or after you dine. The exhibit is about freedom and the various forms of it.

Cafe 43 is a delight. The menu has a lot of variety, from avocado toast to salads to sandwiches and chicken dishes. Everything is flavorful and fresh. The servers are professional and helpful and the ambience is cheerful and relaxing. I love the vegan soups.

Would highly recommend to my friends and family. Had the grilled chicken on chobata bread with sweet potato fries. Couldn’t ask for better service or food. The food is cooked to perfection and the atmosphere of the restaurant is good for lunch.

This was our 3rd visit, and we loved it! The food was absolutely incredible, from start to finish! The prices were not outlandish, and the service, second to none! Highly recommend!

Very nice venue for eating. Attentive service. Price was fair for the occasion.

Excellent restaurant. If the restaurant would validate parking I'd have business lunches there once a month. I suspect others would too. An extra $20 for parking (two parties) makes it a bit expensive.

I chose to have the First Lady's favorite sandwich. The filling in the sandwich was somewhat mushy and did not taste very good. The bread had been buttered and then grilled. For me, it was way too much butter---too greasy. The sandwich was also very large. I would rather have had a fresher sandwich--not mushy and on healthier whole wheat bread.

Lovely room and great food. Guests need to know how to find this restaurant and where to park. We drove around for quite awhile looking for it. It is actually inside the Bush museum but not obvious whatsoever.

Came back to try something else and DAMN! This place is great! The host is so nice and welcoming! But why did this sandwich taste so good?! I've never had soft ciabatta bread before and this bread was so soft and was so good with the avocado inside. The grilled chicken was like a herb chicken and was cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries were so crisp and delicious with the aioli sauce it came with. It was such a great experience. Everyone was so nice and attentive that waited on us. Even the manager kept walking around, checking on all the tables making sure everyone was okay. Everyone seemed so happy to be there. Love it!

Food is always exceptional. One of our favorite places to dine for food, views, venue. Artwork is particularly lovely- we just realized one of our favorite paintings- was done by President Bush! Staff is beyond compare. Attentive, warm, friendly- whether you are dining at Cafe 43 or make a dash to the gift shop- the staff is so fabulous it makes for a great experience on every visit. Only negative: parking. It would be swell if they would validate parking in the restaurant- or at least a discount if you are dining- meeting folks there means we each are paying $10 to park and that discourages more frequently dining at our favorite lunch/brunch spot.

Wonderful lunch before our visit to GW Bush Presidential Center. Mrs. Bush's recipes and beautiful artwork offer a stunning backdrop for a great meal. Delicious corn and potato soup, beet salad, turkey panini, and sweet potato fries. Freshly brewed iced tea and great service from Manny rounded out a memorable experience.

The seasonal menu offered at the President George W. Bush library is wonderful! My friend ordered the Butternut squash soup as a starter, and the Avocado toast with eggs and greens with fresh fruit. Both dishes were visually appealing and flavorful. I preferred the corn soup which was spicy and delicious and the corned beef sandwich, which was very similar to a Reuben. The only difference is that it is served with Russian dressing vs. Thousand Island dressing. ( I prefer Thousand Island as Russian gives the Sandwich an extra level of sweetness.) The sandwich is served with marbled rye which again makes it special. The accompanying French fries were fresh and hot. I do wish that the cheese had been melted to better integrate the sandwich’s flavor. Manny, our server, offer quick, attentive service. I plan to visit again in Spring to see what new offerings they have!Parking: The parking is not immediately adjacent to the restaurant.

Lots of choices. Everything we tried was delicious. After touring the library, a perfect place to relax and dine before driving home. So convenient and really good food. Wait staff were attentive and helpful.
