I have been to several Cheesecake Factories from Hawaii to Massachusetts and they are always a safe bet for satisfying a variety of different cravings-so, we chose to stop here for a late lunch. Parking was a bit hectic, though they do have valet-we needed a handicapped space, and after a few turns in the car park, found a regular spot on the end of a row with enough space to manoeuvre. Our wait was about fifteen minutes and though the tables are a bit tight for a 'Go Go', motorised vehicle, the hostess sorted us with a table towards the back. This was helpful. Our waitress, Meshay, was new to her role and I, having been a waitress for ten years, totally remember how much there is to learn during your first few months! She was delightful. Throughout the meal she checked on us, refilled drinks, brought us any extra requests and all with a charming smile. We asked to speak to the manager at the end to let him know how pleased we were with Meshay, he wanted to know too how the food was. Honestly, that part was hit and miss. The small bites- Crispy Crab Bites and appetiser-Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes were delicious. The main meals were okay. A hamburger, an omelette and a Chinese Chicken Salad (I always order and love-but, this time, it was lacking enough ingredients-mostly just lettuce). For your information, the three of us (two appetisers, three mains, two cokes and a cocktail) we spent $103, including tip. We didn't have dessert or take any with us. Overall it was a nice lunch experience, mostly due to our server, Meshay. We all would definitely return on a day when everyone wants different types of cuisine. In fact, we all agreed that next time, we might just get a plethora of small bites and appetisers from the menu.
