I'm from out of state here as a travel nurse. the pharmacist found my new insurance when my card was out of date. She searched for me without me even asking. Great people.

Terrible service everyone in the pharmacy are extremely rude ! If you hate your job might as well quit, but def no need to be rude & the wait time to check out is RIDICULOUS

The pharmacist Sharon was extremely rude on the phone and unprofessional. Her communication skills are horrible, very bad customer service!!

This is my favorite CVS pharmacy. I'm always greeted when I enter the store and asked if I need any help finding something. The front checkout clerks are usually very helpful and offer $ discounts on items that I'm purchasing if they're eligible. Only issue I have is with one of the pharmacy techs who always seems bothered when going to him to pick up a prescription. If not for him, I would give this store 5 stars!

Dirty and rundown, but convenient.

Nasty store and disgusting restrooms

The manager was nice and greeted me when I walked in. It was easy to find what I was looking for. Had to wait at the counter for about 2-3 minutes for some one to check me out. It wasn't busy, Im pretty sure I was the only customer. Then the lady just looked at her phone while ringing me up. No greeting for interaction.

No one to check customers out. Been waiting for a cashier to come to the front for 10 minutes now...And I'm the only one waiting.

It's a really old and run down CVS, really small selection if you're looking for hair care or body products. Almost always dirty, and last time I was there it had a horrible smell. Just a few blocks away on Fitzhugh is the brand new, bright and clean CVS that I'd definitely suggest going to instead! Much better customer service there too.

Wow, I guess I'm just not as big a princess as some of these guys here. This store does just fine - it's CVS for Gods sake.

Take it as a sign: the narrow entrance partially blocked by the car-washers and diners that share the same lot and the road repairs on that strip of Lower Greenville; take these as a sign to go elsewhere. Shelves smile creepily at you with gaping holes like the teeth of a meth head. Gray soap suds are trailed in from the frothy cement that surrounds the building. And even though I came in before noon, the cashiers were so done, especially with couponers, like myself. She did try hard to be polite but her impatience was thinly veiled. If you need something quick and you're in the area, come in for a grab-and-go. If you want a calm, comfortable shopping experience, there's a cleaner CVS on Lemmon.

Love coming to this cvs its always stocked with all my fave products! The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is the fact the cashiers carry on a a full on conversation from one side of the store to the other sorry but its annoying

I love this CVS! Why? It's the pharmacy staff. Once my doctor mis-wrote a prescription for my infant daughter that was WAY too strong a dosage and pharmacist Alex caught it. Alex also spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with me on a different occasion educating me on a class of drugs my son was beginning to take. The pharmacy staff all know me by name and greet me whether I go in the store or through the drive-thru. The store is also well stocked with lots of necessities. I love their rewards card. There is one program for store purchases and another for prescriptions. I usually get a $3-5 coupon every few months because of my previous purchases and since I signed up for email communications I get 25-30% coupons most every week that I can automatically send to my card. Oh, and the pharmacist has also even sold me OTC drugs (kids' Tylenol) at the drive thru window when my children are sick so I don't have to drag them in sick. How could a pharmacy get any better than this???

Blerg, this CVS is not great. A lot of empty shelves... they don't feature the newest products. Almost everything I was looking for, other than baby oil, just wasn't there. Not what I wanted from my quick, convenient CVS trip...

Excellent pharmacy, right down to the pharmacy tech. We were trying to get a 'script transferred from a CVS in another city/state, but the other CVS could not function at that level. This CVS quickly came up with a solution that worked. At the same time, they were cranking out other 'scripts, including another one in my hand.

As CVSs go, this is a good one. The staff is friendly, both in the pharmacy and the front. CVS is a good operation. They have just enough stuff that they can get you by in most pinches. I would knock them for not getting an extra cashier to the front a little quicker. But overall, nice clean CVS.

the cashiers at this cvs are always very friendly. parking is plenty, no waiting for rx and good selection of greeting cards. will be back.

For whatever reason, I prefer CVS to Walgreens. Maybe it's the little CVS bucks they give out. Those come in handy.

Every CVS is the same, right? Nope. I've been getting prescriptions filled at CVS exclusively for 10 years...this is the worst. Their pharmacy staff is rude, unhelpful and simply seem to loathe coming to work every day. Every time I go is a negative experience. I'll still go to CVS for my prescriptions, but moving to a less convenient location. The store staff is fine and helpful, but it's not worth going for prescriptions or pharmacy related items/questions I might have.

Compared to the other CVS locations I have used - I prefer this one. Yes, it is the closest but I usually do not get any problems with them as far as prescriptions go. Other locations however have lost my prescriptions, unable to find them or quote the wrong time. I like how friendly the staff is and how they call personally also if there are prescriptions waiting for you

Yeaaaah it is a CVS. You already know what is in there. I go to CVS for prescriptions and to pick up small things so I don't have to trek to the grocery store (because I hate it) or Target (because I have to restrict my visits so I won't be broke). Pharmacy: This pharmacy is ok. Not as good as the one at Skillman and Mockingbird but MUCH better than the other CVS toward downtown on Ross. They generally get my name right and have my scripts filled. However, once they were supposed to call my MD office for a refill and said "oh they denied the request." No, they didn't. I know my doc and I wasn't trying to score just one more hit of Oxycontin. I called my doc and the pharmacy had never called. Tsk tsk CVS!! At least they haven't filled a prescription wrong or anything....yet. Store: I come here for bread, milk, chips, gift wrap, birthday cards, hairspray, and anything else I need quickly but don't want to go far to get. It is perfectly acceptable for this, if a little more expensive. Atmosphere: this is the CVS to come to if you want to see some characters. In the past month I have had the following experiences, all in the parking lot: -teenager trying to sell me peanut brittle. Take the five and go away and NO I don't want peanut brittle. -young guy parking beside me and whacks his door into the side of my car...WHILE I AM STANDING THERE. I say "Hey, what the fuck, you punk?" and he just shrugs and walks in. Jackass. Lucky for him it didn't hurt my car or maaaaybe he would have had some problems when he came back out to his car!! -homeless guy yesterday stands in front of my car as I am driving off trying to get me to stop and "talk for a second". Better move buddy, I'm coming through!! Suffice to say, you are definitely going to be entertained while here. Service: In the past I would have said ABYSMAL but I have to say they finally have some front cashier staff that are with it. At least the one that is always there when I come through is. She's pleasant, she is on the ball, and she isn't moving at snail speed when there's a line 50 deep of customers. Overall, it is a CVS - better than some, worse than others. The main reason I go here is the main reason anyone goes to a particular drugstore chain: it is SUPER CLOSE to my house!!
December 2008 by Melody L.
Don't freak out. Just let me write this review. Yes it is a chain. Yes it is a drugstore. But man, it is awesometown. As good as it gets for a drugstore, indeed. This is what a freaking drugstore should be like! I usually stop at the WG down the street, but I wanted to be CRAZY and do something different. I walked in to find the Six Flags of drugstores. I could spend hours in here walking through the many isles, and buying a bunch of stuff that I probably don't need. They have all of the basics like cosmetics, drugs (duh), baby necessities like diapers and formula, all the stuff to keep your personal hygiene in check, skin care, pharmacy, 1-hour photo, vitamins, and all of the rest that you already know. Guess what else they have?! Wine, beer, frozen food (a lil' bit), ice cream, and salon hair care brands like Bed Head, Crew, Paul Mitchell, and Biolage. Yeah I know some of the other drugstores have the hair stuff, but this particular one carries a hair-load. (Ya like that?) Some other interesting find and things I REALLY REALLY wanted to buy include: American Idol toy microphone Retro '50s style hot dog roller $34.99 3-in-1 Grill (So you can make me a grilled cheese.) $24.99 Marble Cheese Slicer $6.99 Okay I don't really care about that, but it was SHINY. Escape from Africa Madagascar 2 toothpaste A sixer of Miller High Life (The Champagne of beers) with cans decorated in their special edition fall camouflage. I am surprised I saw them actually. Ped Egg: I'm kidding. Ack. Kinoki: I totally want these just so I can gross myself out. Things I don't want from there: Weird man talking to himself about "lollies" while buying seven bags of candy. There were a couple strange characters, but I mean that's my hood and I like it crazy like that. If you are in need of a present on the way to a party, I would definitely stop by. I mean DID YOU READ the part about the hot dog roller?! Fun for everyone!
