The sales working on Sunday Feb. 11th at the kid shoe department seems to be rude to the little customers. The girl who said i was not helping them out loud in front of the customers was certainly not helping the customers and made us feel quite uncomfortable.

Lady at customer service told me she only did online returns and sent me to the department I bought it. I requested a manager she told me that they were short staffed and the person in the department would call the manager.

Sales associate went out of their way to assist with finding a certain size jacket. He checked several surrounding stores for inventory and in the end determined that a mannequin had the size we needed so he and another associate helped to get the jacket off and let us purchase. It was towards the end of the night and we were so appreciative.

Customer service is absent. It is as if work force is severely underpaid and can't be fired. Fitting rooms are filthy. Workers are just loitering and socializing. When asked for help energy received as if worker is being bothered. Since items sold are pricey, I expected service.

I was Christmas shopping in the men’s section down stairs and had a jacket that I planned on buying and was walking around. When I saw the cologne section and stopped to ask some questions to an employee. Out of nowhere another employee took the jacket from by hands and told me he is going to take it and to go to the register when I was ready to check out. He didn’t do it to anyone else and there was plenty of people doing the same thing. Needless to say I paid for the jacket and left to the women shoes section. Just to be followed by another employee who didn’t even ask me if I needed help he just followed me around. Truly disgusting behavior by the employees.

This review is regarding the employment at this facility:I have never been more disappointed at a recruitment process as I was for this company. If you are applying here for the holidays or in the future, please do not waste your time. Do not get me wrong, I had a great experience interviewing, I had 2 interviews for a department I am greatly passionate about and was ecstatic to receive the position, however Mary made the onboarding process extremely unwelcoming and quite frankly the worst job experience I have ever encountered. She started off by judging my outfit and mentioning that it was the first and last time I wore a silk blouse and denim on the job (also keep in mind that dress code was not discussed during the interview process) and I was just there to watch the onboarding videos. The training was scheduled from 11:30-6:00 however, upon arriving I did my paperwork and within 15 minutes was sent to lunch for almost 2 hours. After this “lunch I watched videos for around 1 hr and a half and was sent home at 4:00pm. Now, to end this review I would like to note that upon my interview process I mentioned I had provided a 2 weeks notice at my current employment and would only be able to start at a certain date, which was agreed upon, I was then told by Mary at the end of the day I must begin to work earlier than the date agreed upon, once I spoke with the manager I was told I would get a call back to discuss this and instead I was ghosted and sent a $50 direct deposit for my day. Its really disappointing to have had such an unwelcoming experience with Dillards, would not recommend, this was a complete waste of time.
