The only donation place I’ve ever seen where the people collecting actively discourage donations. Often told to come back another day, items that were collected the day before are no longer collected by Goodwill, or told they’re not open and 5 minutes later they’re back accepting donations from others. I’m certain there are other places in this area more worthy of your donated items.

Drove to this trailer before closing hours only to find that all of the employees start peeling out and leaving no one to manage the place. Employee that was lurking around but not working (for some reason) told off another person wanting to donate stuff. What is going on here? Severely mismanaged waste of time.

This is not a store, it's pickup trucks set up to accept donations and unless you have only clothes, you're going to have to go somewhere else anyways. Highly recommend just going to an actual donation drop off like the one on Haskell to eliminate multiple stops.

The man who I tried to give my items too was very rude and told me they were full. He then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault that I wasn't there early enough. (I work during their daily hours). I have tried to drop off items 4 different times and they are always full. Do not recommend bringing your items here!

I love the convenience of being able to go leave things that I don't need anymore. But if you have heavy items it's best to go early so that someone will help you unload

This goodwill was closed during its listed open time due to being full. Goodwill is a business, not a charity so this is weak sauce. A business that depends on donations should be open and ready when they say they will be.

I would love to donate here more but they are always full and not taking donations or when they are taking donations they are out of receipts . This is obviously a very busy location so hopefully corporate can get these workers the things they need to do their job. And get more donations!

I am not the biggest fan of “Goodwill” and how much they profit off of donations. The truck has been full the last 5 times I’ve come by since May. It’s at the point that I offered items from my donations to the employees for personal use. They accepted a few but I still have so much clothing and several other nice items that I’d like to donate that they won’t take because the truck is full. I am so frustrated and will be taking my items to Salvation Army instead. Unfortunately it’s further from my home, but at least it might actually make it to someone who needs it instead of the dumpster.

Rude morning employee. They have people digging through donations, after hours, so they can resell stuff, and Goodwill employees don't care that it's happening. The people, digging through the stuff, own a thrift/resale business. I will not donate there, again !!!!

I have been thrifting at Goodwill since the 90’s. I have spent well over $100,000 over the last 25 years as a reseller. Went to the Denton Loop 288 location. Bought a set of over the door hooks that were bundled together with a rubberband and marked $3.93 2pc.
Charged twice for the 2pc set and they wouldn’t refund. THAT is called THEFT. Because I was double charged I ended up paying more for two used hooks than it would’ve cost to buy them brand new. The manager named “Love” was rude and disrespectful.

I worked for the Goodwill trailer on Campbell in Richardson, it has no electricity whatsoever they paid $10 an hour and ask you to sit in a trailer that is over 125° during the summertime, I had absolutely nowhere to go during a tornado warning had to sit under the trailer because it was completely full of stuff. I reported stolen TVs, I believe the managers were stealing the TVs out of the trailers because I would come back in the morning and the three or four big screen TVs that were donated the night before were gone and the lock was still on the trailer, locked. This happened a few times, really an awful company

Can be hit or miss. I would t expect a ton of help unloading your donations. I usually donate smaller items, so I don’t typically need help, but they’re not super friendly, but I probably wouldn’t be either, especially in the summers. My only complaint is that the trailers fill quickly, but Goodwill doesn’t have enough drivers to pick up and drop off trailers. When this happens, they typically won’t let you leave more stuff. I get it. Whatever. #GenX
