I am giving two stars because bartender was very good. Steak was not cooked right. Napkin that I received rolled up with my silverware was dirty. Horse radish mash potatoes were horrible. Sauté mushrooms not bad. Very slow go figure!

I had dinner here with my boyfriend and his parents. The food is overpriced, Three of us had steak it was ok not great with a side of potatoes, Brussel sprouts and scalloped potatoes. I had the Lemon drop martini, I was extremely disappointed. For dessert we had creme brûlée. The ambiance is all you are paying for. I don't care to go back

Very bad experience at this Morton's Steakhouse. First: over half the people were here wearing T-shirts, baseball caps and jeans. I thought this was an upscale steakhouse? Not a Chili's bar and grill. I've seen better dressed customers at Chili's. Second: It was my girlfriends birthday. A waiter came by and took our drink order right after we were sat, but never brought us our drinks we had to order twice. Third: I ordered a 6oz filet medium temperature with bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp. The steak was well done and the bacon on the scallops raw. The bacon was raw! Our waiter never checked up on us after the food was dropped and a different waiter that ran our food to us didn't even stay around long enough to ensure our steak was cooked correctly. After watching my girlfriend complete her meal the waiter finally came back and stated OMG the steak is overcooked. I agreed to a redo of the meal, but after waiting over 15 minutes for the redo I cancelled and asked for a desert to go. The manager on duty came by to apologize and when i pointed out raw bacon which I kept on seperate plate he said it was a medium cook on the bacon. It was raw white bacon fat and he's trying to tell me its a medium. By the way, I have eaten multiple times at Mortons in Pittsburgh and the bacon on the bacon wrapped scallop was never that raw or raw at all! Fourth: Back to the desert ordered to go. By this time the waiter was just ignoring us. After waiting 20 more minutes for my desert I went and complained to the manager and asked for the bill so I could leave. The manager eventually brings the bill over and says: "hot deserts take 45 minutes to prepare". Why weren't we told this when we ordered? You're dealing with a table who's already gotten bad service, food was incorrect and you're not going to give them a heads up that their desert is going to take longer than their entree did?! Really?! To make matters worse, I told our waiter what the manager said and he said that's not true and that someone was supposed to let us know it was going to take a while for the desert. They can't even get their stories straight! This ruined my girlfriends birthday dinner and irritated me to no end. The waiter pressured my girlfriend into taking a free sliced desert and she caved. I just wanted to leave and he wouldn't let us. This was a horrible experience, service was terrible and ruined my night. I will recommend to anyone I talk to that they DO NOT eat at Morton's steakhouse Dallas going forward. I am livid! When you pay that much to dine out you expect to be taken care of not jerked around.

This rating/review is based in comparison to other DFW area steakhouses, which is where Morton's falls a little/lot behind. The interior reminded me of an old 70's to 80's strip club off a mob/gangster movie. The food was good but nothing great. My filet mignon was cooked medium instead of medium rare and just lacked a lot of flavor. The highlight of the meal was the horseradish mashed potatoes, very solid choice. Everything else was just average from the service to the NY cheesecake. For the price I would recommend several other local restaurants for a good steak.

Great food and almost perfect service. Took my wife and in-laws for a nice dinner before a musical in Dallas. Arrived at 5:15 pm (they start dinner service at 5:30) with 5:30 reservations and were immediately seated. Knowing this is not fast food and usually a casual pace dining experience, I let our waiter know we needed to be gone no later than 7pm. We ordered about 5:40pm and our appetizer came about 6:00pm. That was followed by my in-laws salads at 6:15pm. Dinner did not even arrive until 6:42pm. At this point we basically had 15 minutes to eat and be gone. Several times our waiter had come by to state he had kept informing the kitchen about our timeline, but nothing he could do. We did manage to finish and walk out at exactly 7:00 pm and made it to our event with a couple minutes to spare. Overall the food was excellent, as always. I had the 40th special with Filet Mignon and lobster meat and it was perfection. The bacon wrapped scallops were cooked perfectly. The waiter was exceptional. The only complaint would be the kitchen staff for not keeping on schedule (there were only two tables before us, so not like having to wait on a full dining room before us). While I knew this was a casual dining pace, I still do not like being rushed. 1 hour from ordering to to dinner served was a bit long.
