Food was terrible. Drenched in sauce. Took away from the chicken and made the rice soggy. LManagement definitely needs to be on the lookout for another Chef. Definitely wasn't worth the price for food with a microwave type taste.

I hadn't tried this place for a few years. Now I've been there 3 times in a month. I won't go again. I guess the chain restaurant has really gown down hill. The steak was tough on one visit. Sub par other visits.

I go to this place quite a bit! This is my favorite spot to have a bite. I go to this spot regularly. The meals are of high quality, the crew is professional and the charge is fair. I enjoy going in this spot for a nice lunch.

I love pei wei but we tried this one and the food wasn't great. My rice was crunchy and the chicken had zero flavor.

Worst Pei Wei food experience. Went for a second time at this location after a pretty mediocre first time, but I like other locations so I thought it was just a one time thing...it's not. The Mongolian beef was inedible, it tasted exactly of liver yet it was really tough and chewy. Now I'm no stranger to a shitty liver eating experience, but since I didn't ordered liver and the last time I checked that's not on their menu. Other issues. The fancy drink machines are gone. The outdated ones they have serve the wrong beverages. The soy and chili sauce containers look like they've never been cleaned. Pei Wei and the neighboring Jersey Mikes are such disappointments in this location. It's a shame that I grew to like these places in another city but my local ones are poorly managed. One positive thing is the service I received was cordial.

This review has to do with customer service. We ordered Pei Wei for dinner and rhey failed to include one of two entrees on a $60 order. When i called the restaurant, the staff member that answered the phone said his manager told him to tell me that i could drive over and they would replace the meal. I ordered from Uber Eats so i didnt have to get in the car. Worst customer service ever, worst manager ever, i will never darken their doorway again, never!

This whole location needs a deep cleaning. We were there Sunday and everything was gross. There were smears on the drink machine, the knife and fork holders, the tables. The extra plates for sharing were dirty. This used to be a top notch location.

I ate lunch at this location today. I ordered a chicken bento box. The sushi and the meat tasted like plastic and the rice was hard as a rock. The location in uptown takes longer to serve the food but it has a good fresh taste.

Ordered online and when I arrived to pickup, they told me they were out of white rice - which means my food was not prepared on time and they don't have a basic ingredient to make majority of their dishes. Fine, I settled on brown. However, they forgot to give the brown rice, so I had a plate full of chicken and I had to prepare my own rice at home, pretty sad. The pickup counter was very disorganized. The workers were polite, but it was comical. I will not return.

I visited this establishment today at approximately 1530 hours on Saturday July 20, 2019. My wife and I initially weren't greeted upon entering nor did anyone offer to take our order. A customer who came in shortly after us was taken care of first. Upon placing our order for two Pei Wei originals with fried rice, we attempted to give the cashier our phone number for the rewards points and she stated, " It doesn't go by your number, it goes by the credit card you use. Upon receiving our food, we noticed that both entrees were nearly full with the snap peas and carrots with VERY MINIMAL rice. The rice was not properly mixed as you could see the white coloring in the rice at the bottom and some brown rice on top. We immediately spoke to the cashier who took our order and explained to her that there was too less rice and too many of the snap peas and carrots. She then went to speak to the cook who seemed as if she didn't understand why we weren't satisfied while asking the cashier, "Well what did they order and did they tell you they didn't want any of this on the food". As we could hear the conversation we politely tried to explain to her that we frequently visit Pei Wei in Uptown near our residence with this being our first time to this particular location and we have never received an order that was not acceptable. The cook at that time didn't offer to correct the food so we asked for a refund. The cashier went to get a young man who was later identified as Jon Willoughby who processed the refund. As he approached us, he asked the cashier which customer was it. The cashier stated, "Them over there." He then asked us asked what the issue was however, made no attempt to fix the problem by offering to make the food over. Upon handing us our receipt we then asked for a number to the corporate office. Jon then stated, "Let me see if I have it" as he left the front area and responded to the back. A few minutes later, Jon came towards the front with a male who identified himself as AJ. As they approached the front counter we overheard AJ ask Jon who was it. Jon was overheard stating as he pointed in our direction, " The black people over there" Jon's statement was very rude, unprofessional and unacceptable and at no point did AJ who was later identified as the general manager correct his actions. As he approached us, I immediately asked AJ if what I heard was correct. He paused and had a dumb founded look on his face while stating, "yes, he did, but he didn't mean it" I then stated, if it wasn't meant it should not have been said. I then stated that he could have identified us as the two females instead of "The Black People." I then stated, those actions are the very reason that restaurants and other establishments are put on blast via social media and that I cared not to speak to him anymore and that I will be calling corporate. AJ still offered no apology and opened the door for me to leave and my wife remained inside to speak to him. According to AJ, he has been at that location for approximately 6 months and he is in the process of trying to clean it up as it had gone to shits per his own admission. AJ then made an excuse for both the cashier and Jon while stating, "They are new." Irregardless if both employees are in fact new, it is still not acceptable to treat customers as such and to not exhibit any customer service skills while referring to customers by race instead of by gender. AJ, who is the General Manager also made NO ATTEMPT to correct the behavior nor the situation. He never offered to remake the food or to ensure we left there on a positive note. I will be forwarding this email and complaint to the Pei Wei corporate office/support department as all of what occurred is not acceptable. It's easy and simple, the quality of food and service has gone down. update: may 30 2018. dirty tables stacked with bowls. slow service. UPDATE Aug 12,2018 slow food, dirty, this location staff looks like they are from a work release program for some kind of criminal. Update September 9 2018: came in with 3 friends for dinner. We were standing at the register being ignored by the person that kept taking orders for take out customer, after the 4th customer I spoke up. She still did not want to take our order. Once we started to order she kept telling us that they didn't have that so we left and went to the Pei Wei on McKinney Avenue. Dirty and nasty. Do they ever clean the tea machine? Does this chai tea machine look nasty dirty?

First time posting a review for a restaurant, had to do it this time. Quality of the food has really gone down. Beef was like beef jerky hardly had any vegetables. Egg rolls were greasy and cold. Meal overall lacked flavor and was cold. I will never come back again. Very disappointed! Waste of $26.

Silver wear was dirty and the stack of side plates were all dirty visibly dirty with food stuck on them. Hard to believe the person who put them there couldn't see the food and stains that were dripping down all plates in the stack. Dan Dan noodles was horrible and watered down. Literally standing water in my bowl and the taste is different. I couldn't eat after a few bites as I lost my appetite. I ask the manager if something changed because the dish was tasteless. He said it's a new gluten free recipe that they haven't perfected yet. I'm not interested in gluten free this use to be my go to dish it's a shame cause new recipe is terrible. He gave me 10$ gift card and I doubt I'll use it as this restaurant was not clean another customer looked like he had an issue with dirty flat wear and got a refund and left They offered a refund and I said no I just wanted out of there.

This location has gone downhill over time and I think we are finally done with it. This is our third visit where almost everything was a problem. It took 18 minutes to get one of our six items, then 5 minutes before two more came out. The last item, which was 9 minutes after the first was the lettuce wraps, and they were room temp. The Kung Pao chicken, my favorite, was dry, over cooked, and lacking flavor (how is this even possible). Try another location or eat somewhere else.

There is something to be said for customer service! Either it's good or it's ALL BAD!! In this case the customer service is so bad I didn't even enjoy the food once I made it home with the order. My order rallied up to around $70. That wouldn't mean much if the guy bagging it up wasn't stuffing it in all in one bag. When I asked him to just make 2 bags he got upset and started throwing my food around as if I wasn't standing there watching. When I asked for extra sauce he was visibly annoyed and he practically spilled it the way he slung it toward me. I couldn't believe his utter disrespect at such a popular venue. I WILL NOT DINE THERE AGAIN!!

Placed an order thru the app and waited 30 minutes for them to complete 2 dishes. Only 3 tables with people and 4 other people waiting for to-go orders. I don’t normally post negative reviews, but I felt that this needs to be taken care of.

We've been coming here for years with no problems but the place has really gone down hill recently. The bathrooms were filthy, the tables were sticky and all three meals we ordered were poorly prepared. Really disappointing!

I never write reviews but had to say something. Especially since the manager just acted annoyed when confronted. Took over 45 min to get our food. People back there cooking but no food was coming out for anyone. Clearly understaffed. When we got our food the chicken was undercooked. Got our money back but won’t be coming back to this location again.

The store opens at 11. We waited for them to unlock the doors at 11:10. The food was good, but this particular location is filthy. The tables had clearly not be wiped down the night before, the floors are sticky, and the table tents have food caked on them.

Oh my goodness I arrived at this place very hungry and placed my order with no problems. However, the dining area is very dirty with dirty plates all over the place. Does this place have someone to bus the tables. This is definitely a health quality issue

My experience at this location brought back my love for this place. The menus have been redone and they now offer bento boxes, build your own bowls, and other things. I think it's absolutely genius and it made the ordering process so easy and clear. Today we ordered hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef on steamed rice and Korean Spicy beef + shrimp on noodles. The hot and sour soup at peiwei is by far the tastiest we have had. Our service was exemplary, thank you Jon! We appreciated your attentiveness all while handling the front of the restaurant solo.

I remember when this place used to be good..like 2013-2016? It just gets progressively worse. The food is not good quality anymore. They need to go back to what they used to do. The falloff is very noticeable!

Really disappointed. This location has gone down hill. 1. Grease pouring out of the egg roll 2. They gave me uncooked veggie spring rolls 3. Vietnamese salad rolls were so heavily wrapped in sticky rice paper that they were not edible 4. Sesame chicken had not one single sesame seed and was so heavily drenched in ginger that it too was not edible. I'm going to call and get my money back.
