Awesome place! Yummy food, good desserts. Server was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is trendy. Fair price.

Came for brunch on a Sunday. I was very pleased that the restaurant was full but no wait. Our waiter was courteous but moving slow and socializing with his friends at the bar. Outside of that, the menu is limited but has some great choices. The food is flavorful and brought out quickly. I had the chicken and waffles, minus the sausage gravy. The chicken has a unique spice flavor and coupled with the hot sauce...DELISH! Great place to grab a drink, eat brunch and watch the game. Not really kid friendly, so I would reconsider if bringing them.

CFS for brunch was pricey, but very good. Sat at the bar, service was good. Brunch Bear is the drink to get.

Great vibe and experience. The food is to die for! It?s great for a date or birthday event. I would highly recommend if you are from out of town or just a local in the area.

It was so tasty. This place has a cool feel to it. Reminds me of a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed.

On the charcuterie board: the mustard sauce was tasty, crackers were crispy and flavorful. They make homemade pimento cheese. I am not normally a fan of pimento cheese but this was simply delicious. They cook their own hams and you can tell. The pickled okra gives a nice twang to help clean your palate. This place is phenomenal. Cocktails are on point, service is absolutely awesome and the food is killer. Half off dry aged steak nights on Saturday....be there or be square.

Excellent brunch spot. The spicy chicken biscuit is absolutely banging, highly recommended! Great choice of cocktails/spirits, too. Hot sauce on the table is worth trying

El Diablo - perfect for tequila lovers & not too sweet. We had the crawfish deviled eggs for an app and for 2 people who don't care for deviled eggs, they were amazing. For entrees, we had the long walk to Nashville & the chicken and dumplings, which were incredibly flavorful and unlike any other I've ever had. Each were definitely very filling. Service was friendly and fantastic. Never disappointed here!

The wait wasnâ??t too bad when we arrived (around 11:30 am). We chose this place because of the hot chicken that was mentioned from several reviews. I would call the hot chicken more of a semi spicy chicken wing flavor on a Buscuit. Not bad but not what I expected. Overall it was good.

I'm a regular at this place for a reason. This place is phenomenal. Cocktails are on point, service is absolutely awesome and the food is killer. Half off dry aged steak nights on Saturday....be there or be square. Mess with the smoked shrimp to start out or the pimento cheese dip. The specialty wood fired chickens are also killer. Half chicken and a side make for a great meal to split with a date. Cap it all off with the bread pudding...you won't regret it. Looking forward to trying the other concepts owned by this restaurant group fo sheeeeeezy! The food is excellent. We went for brunch and had made reservations. We were seated immediately. Our group got the country breakfast, the long road to Nashville, and the fried green tomatoes and blue crab poached Benedict. It was delicious. It took a bit to come out but was worth the wait. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their menu, oysters and beverage options. I will definitely be back.

Definitely was excited to try this place.. Really nice layout, decent bar, arrived during dinner hours, just myself. Decided to do an appetizer after 2 of the (6 or 7) items on the small dinner menu was unavailable.. not good. Appetizer was decent. Nearly 15 - 20 mins past, no one bothered to ask if I was ready to order... not good. For a light crowd (which is understandable now), customer service should be the least of worries... This made me not want to order at all, quickly checked out. For the prices listed, you guys can't afford to miss out on your paying customers. C'mon Rapscallion. Not interested in returning.

I came here on a whim with my wife and seeing the plates by other dinners I had high expectations of eating well.. I had chicken a dumplings and a whiskey sour. My wife had steak tar tar scallops and a beer. We spent over $100 before the tip.. She received a decent amount of foos.. I got a bowl half the size of the table with high sides and small shallow bowl area. There were maybe 2 or 3 small pieces of chicken strips. about 5 dumplings that looked more like uncooked rigatoni pasta and some other odds and ends.. In 4 bites my meal was complete it was that small. I've had more lettuce on a taco bell taco than the total amount of food on this plate.. My whiskey sour was $13. Regular size and nothing really special about it. Turns out they automatically gave and charged me top shelf liquor. . Needless to say after seeing my part of the meal equated to half the bill I left hungry and was served only enough food to constitute a snack or appetizers, my wife.and I decided we will never again visit this establishment..

This is my second visit to Rapscallion in about a month and both visits the food has been at it's A game. The NY strip steak cooked to perfection is absolutely delish, the Mac n cheese and roasted cauliflower as sides are great and a Lemon Drop Martino to finish with, I'll keep coming back as a regular for sure.

I had the best Nashville fried chicken yesterday. Taste good and spicy, especially with that vegetable gravy there. Still in my taste buds. And hey, I had a free birthday pudding. Much love! Would definitely suggest for the whole bird for 2!!

Went with another couple and absolutely loved Rapscallion. Do yourself a favor and order biscuits to-go and you will thank me the next morning!! The apps were great, main course was perfect, and the dessert met expectations. Their wine menu has selections that you won't find elsewhere. We will be back soon!

I really wanted to like this place. We looked at the pictures & they put our reservation next to the sink at the edge of the bar... so yeah I was smelling kitchen sink water musk while trying to get my taste buds going. Then, we sat for 7 minutes... until the bartender took our order. We ordered an appetizer - it fell apart and had no flavor. I'm not sure who is making these pictures - but we didn't see that yesterday. After a bit, we just got the check and left. On the way out - we noticed a good 9 tables still empty. Very odd.

Amazing place and the service was excellent! This is the ribeye special, he had the country chicken fried steak - waiter recommended to make it hot chicken! Fried okras to share. Great food, cleaver cocktails/good beer - great experience.

This is a great place place for great food. Everyone with my party had something different and they were satisfied with the taste. Nashville Chicken, chicken fried steak, dry aged steak and hamburger. I personally had the Nashville hot chicken and it was good. A little more classy than what I remember it from Nashville, but it definitely worth the try. The biscuits are soooo good. We had one for dessert also with their butter and jelly. Will definitely try to get back here again. Their drinks were fabulous also. Definitely top notch.

Rapscallion is a beautiful looking place on lower Greenville. I was at five stars when I walked through the brick store front. I stayed at five stars when a fantastic server showed up. He knew the menu very well, and he was friendly and engaged. The food is what did me in.. . We tried fried green tomatoes, biscuits, ribeye special, Rapscallion burger and chicken fried steak. I was disappointed with all of it except the biscuits. They were perfectly cooked, slightly moist with wonderful honey butter and jam. It was truly great. The fried green tomatoes were greasy. The chicken fried steak was greasy, lacked seasoning and burnt on the outside. The ribeye and hamburger were over cooked even though we ordered medium/pink. Both meats were dry.. . Hattie's in Bishops Art is a better alternative for me.

I feel in love with this place before the food and drinks could even come. We had the best waitress in DALLAS she made us feel welcomed, and special. Especially our birthday girl. All I can say if you make reservations be there you will miss out. We took an outside table just to make sure got in and almost missed that this place is packed starting Fridays. Let's talk food first there and I believe with all my heart nothing the chef can touch that will not taste amazing. I love cooking and I can duplicate what I ate! That restaurant is a keeper. The flavor were layered, on on dish tasted like the others and what someone my take a simple decor to make a dishes look pop was another elevation to favor town!! Drinks we even were giving something not on the menu.... the bartender was on some type of beverage composition ISH! Drinks were like music and food the lyrics. make sure you go with your best people as it will be great memories made!

Great service and great ambiance. Their wine list is very impressive and the staff is very knowledgeable about the food and beverages. Wonderful staple of Lower Greenville.

The mimosas here are excellent. The parking here is a little tricky but you can always park at the traders joe right behind this restaurant and walk back.. we were treated to some excellent kamikazes too.

During my nights in Dallas, I visited Rapscallion after visiting Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck. This restaurant had a-lot to live up to. To my pleasant surprise it did. The food was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

The food and menu was okay. However, I was disappointed with the drink specials for happy hour. I started off asking the host what the happy hour included and he informed me that he believed all the cocktails on the back side of the menu, except for the bottles of wine. He then said that he would confirm with the bartender and then the bartender confirmed with both of us that it included all of the wine by glass and cocktails. Then I received my bill and the two drinks that I ordered were charged to me at full price, along with my friends. We both informed the waiter of the mistake and that the drinks were not half price according to the happy hour special, and after going back and forth three times there was no resolution. I was overcharged, and felt like a bait and switch was pulled over on me. Very confusing specials and misleading. Will not be back.

I don't normally get to this side of town. This place is a gem. I am not a fan of tomatoes, but tried the fried green tomatoes. I ate a bunch of them. Man were they tasty. Their secret is to pickle them before they fry them and it gives them a nice citrus type acidity punch. I had the scallops for dinner. Best scallops EVER. They were cooked perfectly. Nice crust on one side, flipped and allowed to cook on the other side to perfection. Melt in your mouth perfection. The owner knows his wines. If you aren't sure what wine to pair your dinner with he will hook you up. If you are a member of the service industry, the menu is 50% off on Tuesday nights, which was a nice surprise. The waiter was a bit inattentive but overall I'm a fan and will be back.
