After stating that I lost my job , they continue to text and threaten to call the police but its only a bed and I am not trying to steal. Ive also found this online "Texans who sign rent-to-own contracts to lease furniture, electronics and other household items will receive new protection against being arrested or criminally prosecuted if they renege on the terms, thanks to a law signed by Republican Gov. Greg Abbott last week."so at this point im being harassed and all i asked for what some time, I also had to do my own research for the benefits plus that I was offered. someone keeps texting me from their store and wont identify themselves

I ordered a bedroom set and never received the nightstand.. it was over 6 months so I just returned the whole set.. the manager corina was not doing her job as a manager to satisfy me.. I asked for the corporate number and she never did.. She was very rude. And very unprofessional. I would not recommend renting from this place to anyone

Horrible company, be sure to watch your account closely. They call you about your payment a million times a month, the staff doesnt communicate professionally and they never take accountability for their mistakes. I would not ever recommend this Rent a Center location to Anyone.

Excellent place to buy furniture or appliances. Ask for Ramon when you arrive. He went above and beyond to help us with our purchase. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Most definitely will recommend. Thanks Ramon !!!

This review is for the Rent A Center at 5334A Ross Ave, Dallas, Tx. My daughter received an internship in Dallas in September 2018 and with very little time, she and I drove from Chicago to Dallas for her to start. It was only a three month internship so we didn't want to buy anything that couldn't come home in her car. We rented a mattress here and I must say, I am so impressed with this location and the people who work there. Carina was so accommodating both in September (believe me, I was very stressed after a 14 hour drive and no time to get my daughter established!) and this past week when we needed to end the rental and have them pick it back up in an very limited time frame. They worked around our schedule, which was incredibly helpful. I also had a small issue with the online payment system in October and called them from Chicago. Ramon resolved the problem while I was on the phone and was very courteous, just like Carina. On top of that, the delivery guy was also nice and professional. It seems like these days it's hard to find a company that treats you like you really matter, especially when they know they will not get more business from you. If you have any need to rent in Dallas, TX, please go to this Rent a Center! They are wonderful!

Waited for threee days to tell me im unapproved. Take it i rented at the same location last year with no problems. Returned it becausr i found some thing cheaper and all i needed was a fridge. Urgency was my thing and it was i call you back i call you back and i ended up calling througgt i work shift. Thank God for resilience if not i would not have gotten my house in time. So diappointed.

I'm surprised this location is still open. I've dealt with a number of rent a centers and I've bought a few items. But at this location the staff doesn't communicate with each other or with you. What's the point of a application over the internet when one person is telling you everything is finished and the other is saying you need to come in and fill out more paperwork. The weekly prices kept changing...just annoying.

I called to inquire about an application I filled out on line and the guy that answered the phone was so rude and unprofessional. I like to have a friendly relationship with the people I buy or rent from. This place DOES NOT HAVE THAT!!!

I when to this store i fill out a application KARINA told me to process the application i have to pay for the product that they dot have she say i will set up a delivered 2 days after i pay the first payment so i ask her is the tv is new she say yes so i told her if the tv am buying is not new in the box dot send it so when they bring it was not even the box to many scratches and she keep saying is new they rent the electronics and they trying to sale it as new STAY AWAY FROM HERE

Rented a washer and dryer from the and they flooded our apartment. The delivery guy was unexperienced and broke the hose and it flooded our apartment. Never went through his mind to cut the water off. So, we go and make a claim, didn't hear from anyone. Got a letter in the mail from one of their "attorneys", left a billion voicemails and never got a call back. So now, we have moved out that apartment and we are charged now for the damages of the carpet. I'm calling the same guy and having to leave a voice message. I need for Rent A Center to pay for what they damages in our apartment. Horrible, horrible service and location.

If I could rate them a 0 I would. Terrible service. Office doesn't have their shit together. I had a sectional ordered from Nebraska Furniture Mart that was estimated to take 8 weeks. Since my roommate moved out with her living room furniture and I had no where to sit I decided to rent something in the interim. I explained my situation and that my ordered furniture was estimated to take 8 weeks and could potentially not take that long and Noe acted so helpful "oh yeah, don't worry, we can come pick up the rental if your order is finished sooner." I went ahead and paid for a month just in case and we had agreed that I could then go week-to-week to be safe. What he didn't make clear is that they would charge a minimum of 1 month regardless and as luck would have it, my ordered furniture was completed within 3 weeks. When I called them to have the rental picked up, they informed me of my 1 month minimum which I was not happy about. I was going to be out of town at the 1 month mark so I just had them pick it up at 3 weeks and I ate the cost of the last week. Nearly 2 weeks after pick up they had the audacity to call me multiple times while I am at a conference finally leaving a barely coherent message with a guy maybe named Luis mumbling that my account is past due and to call back immediately. You IMBECILES!!! Due to their complete lack of organization they were calling me to collect on a rental they had had returned back at their office nearly 2 weeks. You can NOT be serious. Get your shit together guys. A bunch of crooks if you ask me. By the way they take no care delivering and picking up furniture and damaged my wall and crown molding. Avoid at all costs.

This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered! Never ever use them! I rented a big screen for a few months but when I tried to cancel the rental all hell broke loose. I paid up through the last day. They said they'd pick it up between a certain time frame but never showed. 3 days later they call to tell me my account is past due. I told them I canceled it and to pick it up. They made 2 other appointments with me and never showed. I called several times to schedule another pickup before I went out of town and they still were trying to get me to pay them. Then they showed up unannounced several times and kept missing me so they started to call my family and my office. Basically I got 2 free weeks because of their bad customer service. I've never had a great experience with any of their employees but Luis is the worst! They're scheduled to be there tonight to pick it up. We'll see how that goes!
