I put nothing but Shell in car and I will not go here because they are in the business of ripping people off! Every other gas station is usually 20 to 25 cents cheaper. This is the most convenient location for me but will drive out of my way because of the prices.

Excellent place to get your car fixed! Tim, Jeff, Eduardo and the team worked on my Hyundai today and got my problem resolved within the day (heat and AC were not working). A trustworthy and competent mechanic is such a help. Super convenient at 635 and Preston.

I use to go to this store because it was close to my job, but I rather go to Quiktrip instead. They are very rude and unprofessional, especially the Hispanic lady that operates the cash register inside the store, talk about "training" she sure does need it....AGAIN! GET RID OF THE BAD APPLE BEFORE SHE SPOILS THE WHOLE BUNCH. Money never associated with bums!

This store is extremely racist. I had headphones in and the screen read total $1.89, I gave the lady $2 and she follows me to my car screaming if you don’t give me .5 I’m calling the cops on you for stealing.

As a repair facility, this place has really impressed me. I have old cars and new cars, and no matter what the issue Tim and his team have been great. They do work on my vintage cars, and they did work on my late model cars including Mercedes/GMC/Jeep/etc. They didn't ask for a review, but they deserve it. You can feel confident that they will treat you right. How often do you hear that about a gas station!

Someone recommended Flatt's to me and I looked at the reviews before I went the first time. Their service was excellent and the pricing very fair. Another problem came up on a different car so there was no question where I was taking it. Tim took care of it and said there was no charge. The reviews are all the same-----for good reason-----a good ole family business run by people who care.

I wish I could give no stars, We just left this gas station and while filling up with about $50 worth of gas we had our kids put all the trash from the back seat into the trash can and a woman clerk was walking to each pump with her non-uniformed friend who was on her phone and started to yell at my husband and kids about the trash can being for customers only, we were actively pumping gas at that point. He tried to explain to her that we are customers, but she said we were stupid and started making rude comments right in front of my kids.

Tim and Jeff have great customer service because they take the time to understand my car issues. Any time I have a problem, this is where I go because they are straightforward and up front about the costs. I never had recurring problems from the same issue. Even if I did, I know they'll be there to assist. They also do a great job reminding you by email when to get your next oil change. I learned the hard way that my car needs regularly scheduled maintenance. Go to Flatt's Shell at 635 and Preston. Their employee Aaron is very courteous also.

The worst service center ever. Wants to charge $100.00 to replace 2 fuses and won't just sell the fuses . it just fuse to the aux port to charge the phone. Even asked the manager he is one who gave the price. Fuses cost $2 at auto zone and I replaced it in 5 mins. I would have even paid $20 to have it done my phone battery was dead.

I had two cars inspected since I just moved here and needed to register my cars in Texas. Tim was very efficient and he and the other employees were polite and helpful. It is kind of grungy and there is no waiting room. There are a couple of chairs inside the little store area and two chairs outside where you can wait. It took about 15-20 minutes for the inspection.

I've come here a few times to fill up gas. The place is dirty & run down but it's on my way to work so why not. That is until today. Today when I filled up, the pump didn't stop even after it topped off! It spilled gas everywhere! Thankfully I was right there next to the pump & it stopped after I unlatched it. Went inside to let the attendant know & she just said she would clean it up. Definitely NEVER coming back. Heck there is another gas station just across the street where I'll be taking my car to.

I usually steer clear of gas stations for anything that isn't getting gas. But I needed a state inspection and Midas was having problems with their inspection machine today so I ended up at the Shell station. I was surprised at how painless the whole thing was. While they may not have a nice comfortable waiting room, the stools in the front of the shop were more than adequate and it was fun chatting with Tim while he took care of my car. The whole process took under 20 minutes. I expect to visit the shop more frequently now that I know it is legit.

Inside closed at 7:50 pm. No receipt at pump and guy inside can't give receipt either. And this is a Shell station. What a joke.

Very Rude and Very Unprofessional Mechanics went to go change oil and the Mechanic Had an Attitude like if he was lazy and didnt want to work on the car. So I just left. I do not recommend this place what so ever! Do Not Come Here its Horrible!

I highly recommend Flatt's Shell for all of your automotive needs. An extremely well run operation with a true family feel atmosphere with very knowledgeable technicians working to get you the best results at a fantastic price point. I have been taking my vehicle here for years on end and I always recommend their services to anyone I can, so that they can experience the same satisfaction that has made their station one of the best full service shops in the D/FW Metroplex!!

Brought the vehicle in for an inspection and they failed it because the emissions monitors were not ready. I had a recent repair that reset the car computer. So no way for me to know this was happening. The manager demanded money for plugging the car in to read the monitors and said I had 20 days to return for reinspection. Returning on day 20 the manager says "oh yeah you only have 15 days to reinspect, that's the law". Then proceeds to tell me that he doesn't even remember what he told me last time because it "was last year". Nice sense of humor huh. Seems like a nice racket for taking your money. Buyer beware.

I took my car to Flatt's Shell for power steering hose issue and bad tires. Tim & his coworkers are honest and straight forward what needs to be done and what does NOT to be address. And they very courteous and understanding of your schedule as well. If you have any automobile issues, I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

I am really impressed with Flatt Shell. I have had several cars serviced there multiple times and go there anytime I need a repair. They are fair and honest as well as courteous and efficient. I had bought gas there for years, but thought that being located on the freeway that the repair shop wouldn't be full service, but they are. What a wonderful discovery. It's a family shop. Both Tim Flatt and his dad Jeff Flatt are there six days a week along with two other professional mechanics. These guys all know their stuff and they price the work honestly (even the tires are priced right). They also know how to work on really old vehicles too (I have a 1950 chevy pickup and they have done wonders with it, just like they have with my other cars). You can't go wrong with these guys. I have recommended them to friends and everyone has told me later... "Wow, you were right about Flatt Shell." What a find!

I have been taking my cars and trucks there for 20 years. I also send my Daughter and Son there to service their vehicles. In fact my son's Jeep is there as I am writing this. The Flatts are trustworthy, and fair and work with you to make the best decision for you needs at that Time. They do not take advantage of people and sell you things that you don't need. I've twice been to Flatt's Shell for State Inspections - The first time was when I was moving to TX and they were quick in walking me through everything I needed for an inspection on two cars. We go back a year later and they're nice enough to explain to me how I don't need an inspection due to some good luck with timing on the recent rule changes. They still looked at my car, showed me the state computer saying its not due, and removed two stickers at no charge. It was impressive it was the same 3 mechanics working there a year later. I'll probably try them out on some more serious repair work and see how they do.

Every time that I have been here they have taken great care of me. They are fair, honest, and fast and I have never had a complaint with the work they have done on my car. They were kind and friendly and didn't talk down to me when they had to explain in the simplest way possible what was going on and what my options were. I am very thankful for the repeated good service I have received and will continue to come back.
