The only place in town you can sort of get a Cali Burrito, amazing tacos!

Really impressed by the flavor and service. Staff was courteous and took their time to answer my questions. I had the "Pulpo" and "Azteca" tacos. The salsas they brought with the food were delicious!

"Never eat tacos that cost more than two bucks." It's an old adage that Tacos Mariachi destroys with gusto. These are easily the best tacos in Dallas and worth your extra buck or so (which probably goes to offset the Greenville Avenue rent). Salsas are fresh and delicious. Tacos truly make your mouth water. Service is fast and friendly, plus they have a couple of take-out parking spaces in back. If seafood is your niche, try the Pulpo with spicy salsa verde. It can get crowded in the evening so your best bet is to go during lunch or early dinner hours. If you're closer to South Dallas, the original is on Westmoreland.

I haven’t been down to Greenville since The Granada Theater was still open. So much has changed. This was a wonderful spot for me and my daughter to get some octopus and shrimp tacos. Fun atmosphere and some

The best street tacos in Dallas!

Some of the best tacos I've had! Salsa was very good too, and staff was very friendly. Lots of outdoor seating. Quality ingredients and good menu. If you're in Greenville stop by here. My only ding was because the prices were a little high, however they weren't terrible either.

These tacos were so good. Quality and warm ingredients. As well as a very creative menu. So happy lowest Greenville finally has a good signature taco spot.

Great gourmet tacos! A little pricier than the hole in the wall places but they're worth it. They also have beer and margaritas

Owner responded to my complaint. He was great, and so was the rest of the staff. - I appreciate when owners do that. The tacos are great!

Located just down from the Trinity Groves area in Dallas. It's a bit of a dive but the food prices are consistent with a much more upscale place. Atmosphere: Like stated earlier, it's a bit of a dive which fits in perfectly with the fact that it was featured on Guy Fieri's Triple D. It would be interesting to see what the prices were before he visited and what they are now. It's a cozy little spot with a covered patio area on one side and fairly limited seating inside. The menu is hand-sharpied onto colored poster board. Rather quaint, but fits into the street taco format. 1/2 Star Service: Perfect! The owner (I am assuming) was running the cashier and was extremely helpful. He took his time to explain each of the menu items we had questions about as well as adding in some little notables that were nice. The bus boy/waiter/host was also beyond helpful. He brought everything to our table and explained the different sauces as well as imparting some finer notes to what we were eating. 2 Stars Food: Quite good. We ordered the following: 1. "Pulpo" (Grilled Marinated Octopus, Asadero, Avocado) 2. "Norteño" (Grilled Skirt Steak, Asadero Cheese, Refried Beans, Avocado, Pico de Galle) 3. "Camaron al Pesto"x2 (Sautéed Shrimp, Cilantro Pesto, Oaxaca Cheese, Julienned Veggies) 4. "Huevos con Tocino"x2 (Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Refried Beans, Queso) 5. Not on the menu: Bean and Cheese Burrito for the son who won't eat a taco. 6. Chips and Salsa and Queso. The chunky salsa that came with the meal was served warm and was very tasty. The queso is smokey and very fresh tasting. Decent chips. With the tacos came a trio of puréed style salsas in squirt bottles. They ranged from"Hot" to "Hottest" and all were fantastic! From milder heat on up was a Serrano Tomatillo followed by a Mango Habanero, and finally a Chile de Arbol. As for the tacos, the Pulpo was quite good. Maybe a little too chewy for my taste but still a very good flavor. The Norteño was very good. A tad more meat would have been nice, but definitely acceptable. The Camaron was excellent! The pesto really made an impact. My daughter absolutely loved her breakfast burritos. The off-menu B&C burrito was the real surprise. My son devoured it! I had a bite and was seriously impressed. $5 a taco is a bit steep for smallish tacos however. 1.5 Stars Overall Impression: Fantastic service, very good (and fresh tasting) food with original menu items, and the willingness to accommodate a picky eater without hesitation is always a "will return" in my book. 4 Stars overall. ------------------------ My Rating System: Things have changed. I felt it was too easy to get 4-5 Stars so I will be giving out many more 1/2 Stars and basing my reviews on a 10 point system rather than 5. 1 Star-Wouldn't let my dog eat here 2 Star-Below average-usually something really struck me as being bad and I doubt I would ever return. 3 Star-Average-Might come back. Might not if there are better options. 4 Star-Above average-will definitely come back and try something new. 5 Star-Phenomenal-Will definitely return for such an amazing experience.

Hole in the wall places always have bomb face! The octopus taco isn't as good as I thought they would be. The other two, pulled pork and fajita tacos were delicious. Service was prompt. Great experience

Amazing. I’ve gotten something different every time and I’ve loved it. Breakfast is great, as is regular menu items. Their Mango Habanero salsa is phenomenal. Truly a taste of Tijuana/Southern California. Service is great, owner is super nice.

Family, friends or work reunion friendly, big space, quick service and same quality from the original place, owner and staff are super kind! Food and flavours are authentic! We love it here 🙌

Love the West Dallas location and this one is fantastic! Great location and great space. The shrimp taco and barbacoa were amazing! Love to have a solid taco joint on Lower Greenville.

Great tacos, they've got everything from traditional street tacos to some that are a little "funky". I got 1 steak and 1 Barbacoa for $4.50. Awesome flavor on both and multiple salsas to heat things up. BYOB until they get their liquor license!

Great service upon walking in. The staff is very friendly and kind. When sitting to eat I felt right at home the surrounding decor and food brought nostalgia of growing up by the border. The traditional tacos were amazing and ethnic. I loved the Elote as it was simple and delicious. The Mole fries are a must try, the fries and mole go well together! I'm glad there has been a second Mexican restaurant added to the lower Greenville area. Also loved the wall art. Can't wait to bring my family.

So happy we went here AND that I got there early to scout a table... you know where you watch all the diners looking for who's almost finished so you can silently stalk them and take their table the second they think of leaving? Score btw. Super cute, traditional, quaint taqueria where you order at the cashier and eat at the wooden picnic type tables. Small place and neverending people coming through... but soooo good. Definitely order the triple queso, salsa and guacamole with chips! The queso and salsa are steaming hot. Yum... like yes really. Couldn't decide between the shrimp tacos so ordered both. I mean you know me right?! Both. The pesto one was okay. That other one was waaaaay good. Add all three salsas/sauces and it's amazing. Their spicy sauce was deliciously hot. Love that. I'll be back. Really enjoyed!

The moment I walked in I loved the vibe. It was busy and there was a line at the counter but we were still welcomed like family with a shout. I chickened out on getting the Pulpo taco but I did try carne asada, pollo al pastor and barbacoa. All were great, and they gave sauces in a big fridge so you can control your spice. I also had a margarita which was small but strong. The only thing I didn't like was the mole fries. The flavor was great but they put so much mole on that the fries become soggy and it's overall too heavy. I can't wait to try the new location!

My heart almost breaks to give this place 4 stars not 5. Oak Cliff is in my heart forever and I want to always root for the delicious food places. I read the articles and reviews and all the pretty pictures, but it has the Insta syndrome. Where they only show you the best. If I'm paying for the best I expect only the best. I visited here with my family and I was excited because you can see it wants to be a hole in the wall. I ordered a cucumber margarita cocktail, a Campechana, and the Pulpo (octopus) Taco. I was super excited about that one! We had to sit facing a wall on barstools because there was no more table room. Expected, I read that before. If I'm going to stare at the wall, I'm going to observe the wall. Observe I did. This place needs a good wash down (I have proof) Maybe a little paint. Hey do it on a Monday when you're closed. I know that octopus has major potential with flavor so if this place is supposed to be good hey I'm expecting to we wowed. My taco was so salty. I did add the hottest sauce which did not disappoint it was hot like it like it. The Campechano Taco was presented open face kind of what a tostada would be if it was chewy. Also salty. The cocktail is a total ripoff. Are you kidding me with these tiny plastic cups? Where was the cucumber? You couldn't taste it. Overall I probably will not return. This place is a lot of hype. I didn't get full. It's Oak Cliff there are plenty of places with great tacos.
