We stayed here for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay. It was my husband’s second stay and my first. We had a regular king room and it was exactly what we needed! Large windows to look out at downtown, sleek and modern design. We ate at the restaurant, Monarch, and the food was delicious. Very friendly staff, the lobby is basically an art gallery. This will be our go to Dallas hotel!

We got a nice room upgrade to the top floor, but the room was VERY noisy, street noise, and creaking walls. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of amenities. Very modern hotel, close to all things downtown. If we go back, we want a quieter room.

Enjoyed my stay, but a tad was left to be desired for the price. The valet service was prompt and friendly upon check-in and the lobby is absolutely beautiful. There’s a very modern rooftop pool and hot tub on the 9th floor that we quite enjoyed as well. We stayed in the National Suite which was very nicely decorated, but the noise from the street below was awful. We were bothered by sirens, roaring car engines, clock chimes, and the assortment of noises produced from the tram station across the street through our entire nights sleep. I’ve stayed at plenty of big city hotels, but I can safely say this was the first time I’ve been woken up by a loudspeaker announcement from a tram station at 6 in the morning. Not really the fault of the hotel, but would request a room on a quieter side of the building next time. Staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was mediocre at best and extremely overpriced; definitely no where near the quality expected from a hotel of this caliber. We ordered french toast, eggs, and bacon which were all extremely bland while getting to pay $100 for the pleasure of enjoyment. All things aside, we’ll probably be back in the future as the modern atmosphere and great service was lovely

Beautiful hotel in the middle of downtown Dallas. The restaurant pool and gym on the 9th floor are also great. Looking up to get upgraded to a suite for our stay and it was absolutely huge. Way more space than we needed but it had a great view.Only complaint might be that the pool seem to not be maintained. There were a bunch of towels and empty cans The two times we tried to visit the pool. It was pretty cold out so it might just be because nobody was using the pool. P

Excellent city centre hotel with a large pool terrace that also has a great pool bar.The suites have giant bath tubs overlooking the streets. Good location by the metro and within walking distance of a lot of sights. Friendly staff and good service

Beautiful hotel and the Elm suite was very nice and very well appointed. Was a little worried about some of the bad reviews for valet but we encountered no issues. The multiple in building bars and restaurants were amazing. We even got some chocolates hand delivered to our room upon arrival.Rooms: 5/5

I called in to ask for the hotel service to make the stay extra special for my girlfriend’s birthday and Anthony did not disappoint. He put the extra effort into scheduling a birthday cupcake, a bottle of champagne, a plate of desserts and a hand written note was in the room when we arrived.The room was beautiful and the bath was amazing. I would love to see this hotel add things to each room with big baths like bath bombs or bubbles. My girlfriend was also slightly disappointed the hotel did not have hair utensils like a curling or straightening iron. For the price point we paid you would assume this luxury hotel would have those amenities.Lastly, there are no curtains in the room that actually block the sun. The curtains in the room prevent people from seeing in but at 7 am, the sun is blaring into the room and there is nothing you can do about it.These gripes are small and slight and with minimal effort from the hotel, this place could be a top tier luxury hotel that I would love to come back to time and time again. I truly hope to see these changes happen soon!

This hotel is inside the National building. There was a business conference going on, so most of the hotel was booked up. It was good, but not outstanding. Breakfast was complimentary (Hyatt Globalist perk). Valet parking was convenient, as finding parking in this area isn't the easiest. The hotel is in a good location downtown. The art gallery in the hotel was nice. The on-site restaurants are really nice, especially Monarch. It's a very clean, modern hotel. The fitness center they have is better than most hotels, but could still be improved. There is a rooftop pool, but I didn't get a chance to try it. The room was standard, but a bit small for the price point. The bathroom was a very nice size, with the shower water getting very hot. The lamp on my side of the bed had the knob cover for the switch missing. On the other side of the bed, the lamp would dim, and then cut off, even with the switch turned all the way on. Maintenance shouldn't have missed these issues. I'd stay here again though. Also, ask for a room on one of the highest floors. Great views of downtown Dallas here and in the Monarch restaurant.Nearby activities: Dealey Plaza is a few blocks away. American Airlines Center is about a 5-minute driveWalkability: Very walkable to nearby attractions

Had an amazing experience with The Thompson valet service! When I accidentally left my valet ticket upstairs and needed to have my car called, they handled it with such kindness and a sense of urgency, which I really appreciated… they went completely out of their way to locate my car with no ticket to go off of, and very quickly brought it out to me so I could make my plans. 10/10 service!

A male "C-suite" executive client of mine was ecstatic about the size, beauty, functionality, and sumptuous comfort if his room. He had arrived at DFW International at 3am, and just wanted to crash. When he entered his suite, he was shocked to find the appointments as described above.My personal experience with the valet services was exceptionally hospitable & efficient..as too were the front desk staff.

Super sexy hotel. My check in was fast thanks to Jerrald. My room was really clean and modern. So I thoroughly enjoyed myself as housekeeping came everyday. On Thursday a group of 16 decided at the last minute we wanted to do lunch at the Nine on National because we had been at our conference all day and they accommodated us At the last minute. Service was great! When checking out Willie was really helpful. Everyday my room was great thanks to housekeeping. I would definitely come back. Clean. Modern. Upscale. Sexy!

Let's talk Thompson Dallas..... Customer Service 10/10..... Cleanliness 10/10... Food, activities, pool, dinner options, location.... all 10/10! I will stay at this hotel 10 times over. We had a room block and everything worked out flawlessly. The concierge at the front offered rides if we needed, the room was super clean each day. You literally do not have to leave the hotel. Gym is 10/10 oh and they served champagne every day we were there for the conference.

The Hotel is very nicely designed and has a great boutique atmosphere. The King room was very spacious and well appointed. My biggest issue was the noise from the City. Not the fault of the Hotel by any means except for maybe the older building being renovated and original windows provided very little noise insulation. We were on the 15th floor and heard cars racing and vehicles revving ALL NIGHT LONG! Worst sleep of my life in a very cozy bed. If you stay hear request whatever side is the least noisy.

I stayed here for a staycation. I asked for early check in and was happy to receive it. This was all done via email check in. I dropped my car at valet with no problems. To the person that says that they ask you to pull your car up on the curb if you have a low end car, that's just not true. They ask everyone to do that to get out of traffic and to allow you to unload out of the street. The room is gorgeous. Everything about it is fantastic. The decor, the bathroom and shower.... I have no complaints. The all day restaurant is very good. It used to be a buffet, but they took the complaints and changed the menu. I ate the Royale sandwich and also the oewchie bowl and fried green Benedict. All were very tasty. I just wish they had a Chai latte. Maybe next time? The fitness rooms and pool were very nice as well. All in all, I say it's pretty solid and I would stay again. I always use my white nose app, carry an eye mask and earplugs, as the street noise below was very loud. And when it was time to get my car, it asked if I wanted to pick up on the monarch side or the main side. They also allowed you to tip electronically. Solid.

Service was outstanding! From the second we walked in, to the minute we walked out! Top notch. Special shout out to Ivan at the front concierge desk! He was very kind and helpful! He gave us plenty of recommendations, offered an upgrade at a low cost, and even let us check in hours early. We stayed in a Premium King room, that offered plenty of room, definitely would recommend upgrading from the standard king room. I enjoyed the boutique specialty details in the decor- brought a lot of character to the room! Also the smell walking into the room is a rich leather smell! Loved that Plus gym & pool were amazing! We'll be back
