I just moved to Texas so these guys inspected my vehicle for safety and emissions and also provided a courtesy inspection. Very fast, very friendly. I didn’t have any work performed on my vehicle, but definitely liked the vibe.

Our A/C went out. Repairpal.com recommended Christian Brothers (C/B). They had a coupon for the Diagnostic which was nice. Made appointment, arrived for the appointment and they did not have us scheduled. Repairpal and C/B systems do not always sync up. C/B was very nice and took us anyway.
The diagnosis was A leak in a hose and our PCM (main computer part and very expensive. We disagreed with the PCM, based on everything we could find on the internet and friends. We asked them to repair the leak and refill the freon.
Paid the bill and drove the car 5 miles to another mechanic's shop. We told them we had replaced the old line and now our A/C was not working. They diagnosed the problem as leaks in a metal pipe with Straeker (not sure of spelling) valve, which also leaked, and a bad Compressor. They fixed those items, NOT THE PCM and the bill. Way less then the price for the PCM. We were not happy with C/B for trying to sell an expensive part that was not the actual problem.
We decided to tell C/B Christian Brothers about our experience, so they could guide the mechanic. Both shops were using the same computer program for diagnosing car problems. The managers were interested and truly listened to us. They showed us why the mechanic chose the part did as the problem and they also refunded part of our bill. Very kind.
I would go there again, but I would not trust their new computer program of finding the problem. You have to watch, look things up on the internet, talk with friends. The fact they took the time to listen to us and really cared was a big plus. We might have stayed with them if we had brought our concerns up when he told us the part that needed to be replaced. We are not car mechanics and were not sure if we were right. Our son and husband did a lot of research. We only verified for sure that the PCM most likely was not the problem after we left C/B. PCM = Powertrain Control Module, if this went bad, you would most likely have other difficulties with your car.

This is the second Christian Brothers facility I have used. I cannot praise them enough for the friendliness of the staff and the prompt work. I walked in needing an emissions test and was out of there in 20 minutes. I have had mechanical work done at other times and I thought that the service was top-notch.

First time at CBA after a bolt came loose on my braking system. The staff was so kind, very professional and personable. Every time I walked in I was greeted by everyone in the office. They didn’t try to up-charge me and explained everything in terms I could understand. The inspection report received via text was so convenient. Easy 5 stars. I will absolutely be bringing my vehicle back without question!

Christian Brothers and everyone who works at this location is just amazing. I have an 08 Corolla that they have been servicing for years, they are always so kind explain everything and never pressure me to do anything. I just called this morning to see if it’s okay to leave the car there for another day thanks to life and a crazy schedule as a new mom, Josh who answered the phone was so understanding and sweet. I was having a totally horrible morning and stressing about getting over there before they closed, just a minute or two on the phone with him really turned my day around. Life is hard and sometimes just having someone be completely understanding and compassionate for just a few seconds can make all the difference in the world.
Thank you Christian Brothers! ❤️

Owner is manipulating and over charges. The repairmen are nice and so good work but under his control. Owners greed is why we won't be back.

I cannot say enough about Christian Brothers in Friendswood. I’m a single widow whose husband used to take care of all the car things. Every single time I have gone into Christian Brothers Friendswood, They have treated me so well. The Customer service is top-notch! I went in the other day because weirdly both of my headlights burnt out within a day Of each other. They immediately got me in and they treated me so kindly.

Great customer service, and great group of guys working, but the mark up percentage that you place on your parts are intellectually disrespectful. Had to pick up my vehicle after receiving the quote. I asked several people about this establishment and was not surprised that this was pretty much the norm at this place.

From the front desk to the mechanic… everyone was so courteous & helpful. My first time here but definitely not my last.
I went in for a courtesy check (my car was making a noise) & the mechanic was very thorough in checking for source of noise. Issue was resolved thanks to Joe.
Thank you guys!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The estimate for repairs was detailed with pictures illustrating the repairs needed. The price was in line with the industry standard in this area. Most of all, the repairs were made the same day and they kept me informed throughout the process. I will return (hopefully not needed soon!) and would recommend Christian Brothers to anyone needing quality repairs!

They provide wonderful service and are courteous. The review is not a knock on their service.
They absoluley price gouge by charging almost double to perform services. They quoted me $1300 to fix an alternator in my car, I got it fixed for $650 in another garage nearby. I am all for capitalism and profits, but in tough economic times, charging almost double is daylight robbery.
We have 3 cars that we have been taking to them for 2 years. But after this experience, not sure if we are inclined to take our cars back there.
