Very unprofessional office and unkind staff. There's a huge language barrier between guests and staff sometimes, which makes it very difficult. My spouse and I tried calling the office for about 4 hours once. Trying to speak to anyone who could assist us in refilling a prescription that the pharmacy needed an approval of. The pharmacy tried calling and faxing as well but nothing. Terrible, just terrible.

Doctor Huy verry good. But The receptionist was very impolite. Talking to the patient was very miserable, especially the nurse name NiNa. the clinic will lose all patients if they still work for NiNa.voite cancel work with NiNa

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! I would put 0 star for this office if I could. I chose this office because my parents can't speak English, and it would be great for them to talk to the doctor themselves. The first appointment was great for the blood work and check-up; I did not have high expectation since I saw many terrible reviews. But I noticed there are a couple of good reviews, so I decided to let my parents try. Everything went downhill after the first appointment. There are plenty of good Vietnamese doctors out there and please don't settle for this place. What is the point of choosing this place for Vietnamese doctor when you can't make an appointment to see him? It is embarrassing to know that there is an office like that in the Vietnamese community. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE. The staffs are rude, disrespectful, uneducated, unprofessional, and do not care about the patient (unsympathetic). The receptionist does not want to talk to me when I call, unreachable calls during business hours because I had to call 5 times to get to them. I can never make an appointment for my parents when they are sick; the staffs always say "first come first serve" during the walking time. The wait time is usually about 45 minutes to an hour. They told me that they do not open on Saturday, but when I check online; it said that they are open from 6 am - 4 pm. The only time my parents got an appointment is when they make it months ago for the annual check-up, but I don't think they like to take in a sick patient. You will regret it if you choose this office. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE and FIND A GOOD OFFICE.

This was a couple months ago when my mom went here. The people in the front are unprofessional. They are always rude and disrespectful but my family likes Dr. Nguyen. My mom has insurance and she's been at Famicare 5 times already. She's been telling how the front has been unprofessional but it's the last straw. My mom came in for an exam and one of the Vietnamese ladies ask for her name. My mom answered her. The lady then went on to say that they can't find my mom's file and they're not accepting new patients and that is that. My mom then told her that she's been here before and gave her the insurance card that says Dr. Nguyen was her primary provider for awhile. The lady yelled at her and said she doesn't care to look at the card and that they are not accepting her so she needs to leave. All of the patients that were in the waiting room witnessed this. I work in the health field too and I know for sure I would get fired in a heartbeat if that happened. To the Vietnamese lady in the front, I hope you learn how to be more mature and professional. Famicare have just lost 5 of its patients. My mom then went across the street to Prima Clinic and they were PROFESSIONALLY explaining to my mom that they do not accept her insurance but she is able to see the doctor using out of pocket money and she was completely fine with it. If you don't like dealing with patients, go find another profession.

I have to call Famicare before I coming there. I ASKED them for the information to make an appointment for my college vaccine. The lady answers the phone tell me DON'T NEED to make an appointment for the VACCINE. She said I just need to walk in and WAIT about "10 to 15 minutes" to take my vaccine. When I come I have to sign in then wait for 20 minutes. I ask them one more time How long I have to wait? She said just have a seat and wait for a little bit. Then I wait for 2 hours later. After that, I ask them one more time, they said you just have a seat a little bit. I ask So how long for a little bit you said? They said I don't know. Wth you mean a little? I get out there then call one more time to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. The lady answers my call, she said YOU DON'T NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE VACCINE, JUST WALK IN AND WAIT FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES. Exactly that lady tell the same thing whenever I call. She doesn't have any respect for the patient. She handoff the phone like she kicks on me. Is that how the registration nurse work? It is a horrible worker I haven't seen before.

This office is horrible. Scheduled appointment at 9 am, now it's 9:30 am, still sitting in the car, waiting for the office to open! And this is the third time. Regular check up, need blood test, haven't eaten anything. Staff is so irresponsible. Going to report this incident to consumer business BBB and medical association boards for investigation.

I have never experienced such rude and horrible service from front office medical assistants. These people need to take a class on human decency. I've watched and listened to them rudely speak to my mother and sister. My little sister was 18 at the time and went to get a test done, afterwards the medical assistant called my mother and discussed with her the results. VOILATING HIPAA RIGHTS. My sister later called them to discuss this issue and was only met with more attitude and no apology. I'm disgusted. I've also observed the medical assistants meeting other kind patients with the same unnecessary rudeness and malice. What is wrong with these people!? Why are they even in healthCARE? Disclaimer: The medical assistants who work the back are very sweet. The doctors and P.As are also all great.

I never make reviews, but Dr. Quynh is an amazing doctor. She is very professional, but also understanding. She's has squeezed me in her tight schedule many times due to my time constraints because I travel a lot. My dad has so many health issues and has been to many doctors, but never felt like any of the doctors were listening to him until Quynh.

The doctors and nurses are nice but the staff working at the front desk are so RUDE. I don't know how they still get hired. If one of you all who works at the front desk read this, i hope you guys will fix your attitude and stop being so rude. They are not helpful. I've witnessed the lady shouted at old women because they did not sign the back of the paper. the old women couldn't see very clearly and they were old. She should have helped them by telling them where to sign not yelling at them.

I am so upset about this clinic. At first, the staff is not serious working there. They are not care for patient, I know it because my son went this placeas a family doctor since 2012. They let you wait in here until you stand up and ask them. However, I see not only staffing not care patients but doctors also, especially a terrible Dr Huy. Until today, my point of view about him completely different, he is not better than his staffing much. Rude, unprofessional attitude to be a doctor. I was waiting in the lobby around 1 hours due to my son got high fever as 102 temperatures and got returned from his Armstrong elementary school. We were at this place around 1 pm at that time the clinic just got 4 patients. I know as walk-in patients I have to wait because my son 's appointment come in at 4:10pm. I came early, unexpected, I am willing to wait. I was waiting 1 hours later until many patients gone. We still not get to see the nurses yet. I so upset and talk to front desk. Finally, when I got into the room after wait 30 minutes later, nurse run the flu test on my son. Then, Dr Huy showed up, he not check for my son. He was standing on his small desk top computer. He started talking out loud as yelling as me about how hard he tried to snitch my son schedule into his schedule, complained, yelling unprofessional at me because I rushed his front desk people. Then they rushed back on him. I tried to talk and he does not want to heard about what I say. I am so disappointed because of his arrogance attitude. I am mad as his professional doctor who yell out loud on a mother of his patients. I shocked about this clinic. I feel he came yell for whatever his unhappiness stress from his place on me. And I also don't know why the Texas license department approved for Dr Huy open this clinic due to his worse personality like this. Unprofessional to treat people but only yell people in his room 's clinic. Today I feel hurt and really unhappy when I left this place. I come for my son but Dr. Huy has no cure for his temper..... I just mad at my self because I trust wrong person who not deserve to be my son's family doctor. I believe there have a lot of patients arounding in different room heard what we talking about, how he yelling me in the room like that. I think many people rated for him 4 or 5 stars, to me he and his clinic deserve nothing even 1 star.

I really liked my first visit, but dealing with them since then has been intolerable. It's a huge let down because I really liked the physician assistant at first. The front office staff is RUDE, they are the most unhelpful bunch. I called in concerned because I have began getting medical bills from their third party laboratory and they can't even give me an accurate fax number to send these through to. I would recommend switching to another doctor if your insurance allows, this facility is way too overwhelmed and staffed with people with terrible attitudes.

I have been a patient at this clinic for over a decade as a child. I have seen the transitioning of the previous owners to Dr. Huy Nguyen. The doctors and physician assistants are very capable and know what they are doing. However, because the patient load is now way over what they can handle it is IMPOSSIBLE for them to give sufficient and effective health care to their patients. The wait time is ridiculous and to even schedule an appointment takes about 2-3 months. The staff working at the front desk have no sense of good patient service, they are intolerable, and give attitudes. They roll their eyes and when are dealt with a situation they are unable to deal with they just give them off to another staff member to handle. As a person going into the health care field, I am SO disappointed and sadden by the direction this clinic has gone to. I have never written a review for any facility, but i want to warn those who are new patients or are looking for a new doctor to not come here if you want horrible service. I hope for their sake they get it together.

Terrible place ever. I think Tim V. Who had severed by Dr. Huy Ng thats why he rated 5 stars. So far, Dr. Huy Ng is the best, but he seems very busy so other doctors take over his patient which is not right for the appt which made. Moreover, even if you have appt , you still have to wait more than an hour to see your Dr. The staff on the front desk was rude, did you guys get well training ? Who hided these staffs like these? Please take a look on the front desk you will see. Especially, when you get emergency, you should consider to go hospital instead of this place it might charge you more but you might keep your life safety. Be careful and take a look to go somewhere else to keep your family members alive instead of this place. Please be smart. I hope this place will get better like Dr. Huy Nguyen built it.

The place get too busy, even if you have appointment, you still have to wait a very long time. The staffs are ridiculous and rude and don't care bout your health problems. Dr huy was very sweet n nice and he's my favorite. However, he's too busy now and he kept passing patients to nurses and other doctors. My mom's finger is swollen and one of their staff (I'm not sure if she's a nurse or doctor) prescribed my mom with an antifungal foot cream over the counter. It's like you have pink eyed and doctor gave you some ear drops.

Let me start by saying it was very difficult for me to find a doctor that takes Medicaid new patients. My expectations were low due to my poor experience with Medicaid. This clinic is very busy but the staff is friendly and we were seen quickly. Dr. Huy Nguyen was extremely kind and caring. He took his time to discuss the options we had for my father who is deaf and has a long list of medical problems. He said he would try to help me find specialists that would accept Medicaid. A couple of days later, I received calls stating appointments had been made with 3 separate specialists. I have private insurance (UHC) through work and I have not received care as good as my Dad has here at Famicare. I highly recommend Dr. Huy Nguyen and Famicare.

Dr. Huy Nguyen is awesome. He really cares about his patients and even calls you, personally, to make sure you're doing ok. I get awful migraines and instead of always writing a prescription for me, he gives me a good amount of samples to try out before purchasing the meds. The nurses there are super sweet, my only problem is with the office assistants. They get flooded and overwhelmed that they forget their manners. Also, I always overhear them bad-mouthing patients, that's a huge NO-NO for me since I am in the medical field. Your job is to help the patient and understand what they are going through. I understand it is overwhelming at times, especially at this particular office, but remember what you are there for. I have been coming to this office since Dr. Van and Vu were here, and I love them to death, but the new management and new team are light years better. They do take Medicare and Medicaid and many major insurances here, walk-ins are welcomed and are not too long of a wait, but get an appointment if you can, because it can get busy. Also, try avoiding Saturday walk-ins because it's way too busy.
