Shelby and Bailey do a great job at the humane society. They truly care about the animals. The PETS clinic and spay and neuter are an excellent addition to our community. I appreciate the feral cat spay and neuter program.

My wife lost her soul mate. She had a tuxedo cat. I went to this shelter to suprise her with a new cat. I picked out a small calico female. She is just the best cat ever for an elderly couple. She has bonded with me. However, she is warming up to my wife. She loves to snuggle.

This is the worst place your animal could be brought to. A family member was arrested and his dog was brought here, we didn't find out right away so when we found out they said that our dog had been picked up by rescue agency to be adopted out but could not tell me what rescue agency had our dog. Even though they are the ones who let them take him. All they could tell me was that the information could not be disclosed. So they sent our dog somewhere and would not tell me where they sent him. I would never keep someones pet from them his kids are devastated. I hope these people are happy or satisfied with what they have done and should be ashamed of them selves. I thought it was their mission to give dogs loving homes not take them away from his family. I even said I would adopt him again. What ever it takes to bring Nelson home we will do and we will not ever stop looking for him.
So if anyone can help us find Nelson please please let us know.
He is a German short haired Pointer, he is brown with white hair on his chest, nose and front toes. He is around 3 years old and weight about 75lbs.
We miss him so much.

While it took us some months to grieve over our golden retriever, when the time was right we went in search of a perfect fit for our ranch We live a 4 hour drive (one way) from this shelter. But was very impressed with the photos and write-up provided. Filling out the application was simple and straightforward. The day came for our “meet and greet” my husband went out in the yard with him and a couple of employees. I think it was love at first sight We took Rudder home with us that afternoon. He had been in the shelter for some months and loaded up quickly. Let me just say, Rudder Butter got the best deal! Or maybe we did. It's a toss up.

Super nice people, very nice place and we adopted a cutie! When he posed for a pic at the humane society, we knew he waa the one! He just wanted to go home with us! There was so many choices! ??⬛ Now he is happy in his forever home, he loves sleeping on blankets ! ? Meet Vinny the cat! ? Made my baby very happy! ? It is a drive but in a beautiful part of Texas! ??

Have adopted twice. Tragically the first cat died, but after a few weeks we decided try again and we are over the moon for the 2nd cat we adopted!!
