The experience overall wasn’t bad with the location and quality of it. However the reason the low review is given is due to the following. I rented a unit from this location right when CubeSmart bought it. I rented the unit at $30 per month. A few months later I received a notice that the monthly rate was increasing to $52 a month. When I called the front office and spoke to the owner he said corporate increased the price. I then called corporate to discuss it with them. They stated that price increase was high and would put a request for the manager to work the rate with me. About an hour later, I received a call from the owner who I spoke with earlier and he said corporate authorized him to work on the rate with me. He said corporate authorized a few bucks off and he said he would bring the rate down to $50 a month. At that point I knew this location had no intention of truly providing customer satisfaction and only cared about getting the money from the rate increase. I am no longer storing at this location.
