I bought $24 of Canadian Salmon from here and it was super fishy tasting. I threw all of it out. Will not be making any more purchases from the meat or seafood department here. Total waste of money. I would rather shop at the Kroger off MacArthur Blvd.

Very well-maintained and -staffed, solid selection of beers and plenty of them from local producers, with good prices. By all means have a club card as there are some great deals in groceries. The cigarette selection is weak but it makes sense because so few people smoke anymore.

Horrible management. Items are constantly out of stock and rarely restocked; several shelves are empty and the place literally looks like it's going out of business. The manager makes excuses for shelves being empty and items not being stocked properly. Management needs to be fired and they need to do a much better job of stocking. There's no excuse for this awful service.

It's always freezing in here and I found the toilets like this... One toilet had no toilet paper The cheese is outrageously expensive. Gruyere was $17.00, $2.00/oz ridiculous

It's like Irving's hidden little grocery secret store! I love this place especially later at night, it's clean, has a great selection and great sales and specials. The only thing I wish they had is a self check out for quick things, that's why I gave them 4 stars.

The grocery section is great. The pharmacy...not so much. One of the cashiers there is very insensitive and rude. She has an unbecoming, uncaring " take it or leave it" attitude. While in line, I have observed her rudeness to other customers. One was a heart patient whose insurance was no longer covering her medication. This girl did not only not offer suggestions or any kind of help. She was brisk and impatient. She did not show an ounce of compassion for the lady's predicament. This girl needs training in sensitivity and social skills and a manager who will call her out for her really stinky attitude.

The customer service folks will very sweetly tell you that you are a liar. I asked for something I saw in the back. She told me they didn't have it in the back. I said "I SAW IT IN THE BACK." She repeated that they do not keep it in the back. All she had to do was either check or say something to the effect that if it's still in the back it's not been properly inventoried and is not ready to sell. Two weeks later. The person bagging said, "Thank you and have a nice day." To me, that means my bags are in the cart and I'm ready to go. One of my bags was not in the cart. I called to make sure it was there and was told by someone in customer service that I'd left it. No, I did not leave it. I was fine to pick it up until she insisted it was my fault. All she had to do was say, "Sorry about that. It will be at Customer Service." She didn't. I shop here for work. I buy a good amount of groceries there. Well, I did. These were tiny issues where NOT being horrible would have totally solved the problem. If you cannot apologize to a customer, you cannot work in a retail store.

This is a smaller store-selection is limited. Cheese selection is good though! Clean and welcoming. There is also a piano there now and little reading nook to drink ur Starbucks- not sure who would wanna hang out at Tom Thumb but if that's ur thing then go for it This piano/hang out/reading nook is a good place for kids to wait while you shop too. The store has improved greatly in the past 5 years or so.

This pharmacy is terrible!! The communication with the pharmacy tech is horrible. I had to repeat myself multiple times on a refill she didn't understand Which my file was right in front of her... and she was very rude about it. Why do I want to bring my business to rude people and that can't even understand what I'm saying?? This is serious stuff when you are dealing with prescription medications. How can I even trust they will fill it correctly. Scary and sad that this pharmacy operates this way with customers. Then she lied about hours of operation. Who does that? Going to file a complaint then transfer my prescription as I cannot trust them to do the right thing. This was not my first issue with them and communication but will be the last. After reading the other horrible reviews it's about the same I went through. Apparently this happens quite often.

Visited the Pharmacy and was appalled at how curt the female pharmacist was. Her manner in answering questions was abrupt and a bit condescending. I'm disappointed that the Tom Thumb on Beltline closed; but, the customer service at the alternative pharmacy on N. MacArthur Blvd (atleast in my case) seems lacking.

Don't buy the meats that are "good deals." They're expired. Also, the Pharmacy is small and convenient, but when the Pharmacist is asking you, out loud, like you did something wrong, as to why the doctor upped your medication dosage for what it seemed to be the whole store to hear, there's something wrong and it is violating hipaa. Please talk to the Pharmacist(s) there to try to be more sensitive and private about our prescriptions. Thank you.

This store has a great selection and layout, and for the most part, it is very nice. However, there is a small neglected corner of the building... the men's restroom. This store has been regularly updated and remodeled over the past 20 years, but the restroom draws the short straw on the budget. It STINKS. It ranks comparably to the reeks of roadside gas stations - where in less desperate situations, you would avoid. Tom Thumb, spend a few thousand dollars and update your restrooms.

Typical Tom Thumb location, but they rarely clean their bathrooms, last time I had to go some retard pooped on the whole toilet seat. The soft drinks machines (Coca Cola Freestyle) didn't have all the drinks that I wanted, so you're better off buying the drinks at the long lines. I will say it is less crowded than the Belt Line (Irving) Tom Thumb, but it really isn't any better. The parking here (and to CAREFULLY find a parking space) is moderately difficult as some people are really self-centered...

Checkers, Jocelyn and Anastasia, need to learn how to say hello and have a nice night instead of worrying about what time she'll be going to the club tonight. We come here every Saturday night and the stockers have better customer service than the checkers. Smh

This is the worst Tom Thumb location in terms of customer service. There is never a staff member available at the customer service area. We waited about 5 minutes and nobody showed up. Then, a cashier came over and told us that he was not customer service, just took something and he was getting ready to leave without even asking us if we needed help, so I had to ask him if anybody would come over to help us. He paged for somebody, then we waited for another 5 minutes, however nobody showed up. So, we had to leave.. Same type of situation happenned to us multiple times at this location.

Called them at 7:30 a.m. They came at 1:30 and were done in an hour. Excellent, friendly and professional. Very competitive pricing as well. I highly recommend them.

One of the best Tom Thumb stores in dfw. Nettled next door to the Four seasons, how could you expect anything less. The produce is amazing. It reminds me of Gelsons in Century City back home. Quality food. Excellent customer service. Just the best!

This is the Tom Thumb in Las Colinas area. This outlet is located at MacArthur and Northgate. There is ample parking available. This outlet is mostly deserted all the time . If you see 20 people in the store, it means that it is supposed to be a busy day. The bakery is OK and their donuts run out soon. Most of the items are fresh except for their strawberries and raspberries. I have personally shown expired / fungal infested strawberries. I also have seen that they run low on staffing. The best part about this outlet is that you get lot of privacy there because the store is deserted. There is no self service lanes in the store so you have to wait in the queue even if you had only one item to buy. Their express counters are not of any help. There is a Starbucks outlet inside and also redbox pickups inside the store.

Great location and hours. The bakery rocks, the deli not so hot, with haphazard service The piano and eating area are great touches, although the eating area needs an upgrade and wine. Upgraded food selections and outstanding wine pricing and variety. The butcher is good Produce still lags its competitors.--too much space wasted on the Organic section when one might wish to just have fresh choices regardless of what color bag I have to use. The bathroom is still abysmal

This is a pretty good grocery store I don't shop here as much because find their produce very expensive and their meats expensive as well I like coming here to check out the managers special in certain sections of the supermarket where you get nice discounts on food

Rule #1: Make sure you get a club card. Rule #2: Buy only items with the yellow tags. Why? Because you can get the non-tagged items cheaper elsewhere. Rule #3: Associate your phone number to your club card so that way if you forget it, you can just punch it in at the checkout and still reap the rewards. Rule #4: See rule #1. Make sure you get a club card. Prices are ridiculously high here. Three stars for cleanliness, the fresh French bread and produce. (Hint* Get a club card)

This particular Tom Thumb has improved! Their wine section is expansive! Love the variety, and there seems to be an employee who is ready to help with assistance. Some stylists at Pure Salon nearby had mentioned how good the sushi is there. Sushi at Tom Thumb, really? I was even told that the sushi is better than a lot of Japanese restaurants! The sushi station is next to the deli, on the left. The gal making the sushi (very fresh) was so helpful and sweet. She explained that they just started running a $5 special on sushi every Friday. I know what you are thinking, you get what you pay for, and it is coming from a grocery. I understand. I chose a variety of sushi and even one that was rice less. I was blown away by how good the food was! BLOWN AWAY! Especially the one without rice. I highly recommend trying it, even on a Friday when you try it at a discounted price.
