JMK5 Marina is a gem for boaters seeking a peaceful retreat. Nestled in a charming neighborhood, it offers a serene atmosphere with easy access to Galveston Bay. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist, making every visit pleasant. The marina boasts ample parking, a clubhouse, a pool, and even mailboxes for long-term residents, adding convenience and comfort. The docks are notably wider than most, simplifying the loading and unloading of boats. Pricing is competitive, offering great value compared to other nearby marinas. Plus, the proximity to shopping and restaurants is a big bonus.
While the marina has a lot going for it, there are a few areas for improvement. The number of wheelbarrows is limited, which can be inconvenient during busy times. Some parts of the facility show signs of wear, and it could benefit from a bit more upkeep. Additionally, the staff, though helpful, seems stretched thin at times, suggesting a need for more hands on deck.
If you’re looking for a quiet, safe, and welcoming marina to store or live on your boat, JMK5 Marina is an excellent choice. With its wide docks, great amenities, and access to both Clear Lake and Galveston Bay, it’s a standout option for boaters in League City. A little TLC could elevate it even further, but overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a relaxed boating lifestyle.

This is a beautiful location. Friendly staff. Stayed aboard during a cat1 hurricane and felt very little rocking. It's nicely protected by the surrounding land/ homes. The docks are not fixed and lifted with the tide, so we were able to leave afterward and get to our car.

Beware of this marina, it has lost 90% of its boaters last two years, totally wiped out the dry storage, the marina us going broke, inflates electric bills to bring in revenue the management runs it like a prison ..avoid storing your boat at this marina it advertised recently dredged, false .it took six months and only dredged very north slips,the dredged, company left for not being paid .Beware,, l went from $275 per month to 600 $ per month in 24 months..my electric bill was $50 pee month to almost 200 month when you complained you are systematic ran off Beware boaters.ask others who kept their boat there any marina on the lake is hands down better.

Steer clear! I had high hopes when it changed ownership however things have taken a turn for the worse.Maintenance does not get done, the staff are rude and unhappy.Reported a water leak a month ago, still not fixed, power has been down due to a faulty cable for 2 weeks now and the owner Jerome does not answer e mails as to when it might be fixed and the office staff refuse to give you a contact number for him, the JMK5 corporate number just rings,If the owner does not respond to a reasonable request to understand when power may return then thats a good indication of the state of affairs.I had a break in on my boat as well and they nearly set fire to it!So much for 'security'!Sadly i paid mooring fees for a year in advance and i am only 6 months in!

I love Marinas so much I could come here every week. Oh wait, I do! Their food is delicious and their margs are even better. Customer service is the best and I feel like everyone is family here. Definitely will keep coming back.
