I brought my cat in for a spay and neuter event they were having and everyone was really nice and caring with her. You can tell all the animals here are being loved and cared for well until they find their new home

Today I went to bring some boxes of gloves, and by the way visit the puppy who is in recovery. People must help these kinds of Non-Profit Associations 🙏🙏

Amazing staff who have the desire to help dogs and cats. My family loves to foster their animals and they have adopted many animals from this place. This shelter is truly making a difference in helping dogs and cats that are in need.

Excellent facility with truly amazing people.Esteban however which seems to be the person in charge, has very poor situational awareness and lacks patience with volunteers.I went on Sunday morning to volunteer and take Milton a toy. The office was closed as Esteban was running late but I helped the other two workers. We meet etc, go over basics and continue with our duties. Mid way I get called for my business and abruptly need to leave. I thank them for their time and I start headed out. Before I left however I took Milton for a small walk as I had before with no issues. Esteban comes over berating me about how I cannot take dogs out and must always physically be at a workers side. I was taken by surprise as it was a nice innocent walk. I said “with all due respect Esteban, it’s just an innocent walk. You are unnecessarily making this a bigger deal than it is.” He was emotional and barely was able to contain himself when I stated that. He rushes over, grabs the workers and tries to set an example of me stating that they are not doing their job THEN jumps on me for not submitting a volunteer form. However the office was closed since he was late and all I wanted to do was help / pitch in and say hi to Milton. He was very unreasonable and couldn’t read the room.. that i am doing this out of the kindness of my heart. I explained to him that and the fact that I’ve donated but I was treated like I was trespassing.I understand their are rules however their needs to be better and clear messaging of those rules. There was nothing on the volunteer page on the basics in volunteering. If you want volunteers to walk a straight line, clearly communicate the rules and have volunteers wear name tags. Put a process in place that everyone can understand. Don’t just assume that volunteers know these things and jump on them when all they want to do is help.I will continue to help and donate as these animals are much bigger than this. Thank you for listening.
