My experience is that they don't buy here, I bought a car on August 11 and they still haven't delivered the car, they just make excuses and they only answer me by SMS, nobody shows their faces, they are a gang of scammers.

The drivers of this application are very bad people on the road, days ago one of them threw his tow truck on my car to crash me but luckily I was able to avoid it

I don’t recommend Vroom any longer. It was great when it was just Texas Direct Auto. Fair priced clean vehicles. Now days they’re out to rip you off. I’ve bought and sold vehicles from them in the past 10 years. I just submitted an online request to value my car. They offered me 10k less than Carmax. How the heck is that even possible. I tried to sell them another vehicle two months ago and they offered me half of what Carmax offered.

I purchased a vehicle with VROOM on Nov10th and was told that they are doing detailed vehicle inspection and fix and issue and will deliver the vehicle b/w Nov22nd - Nov24th which they didn't do it. They said there are some delivery issue so new date would be Dec2nd which again they did not deliver. I called them to check the status and they said Vehicle's auxiliary battery light needs to be fixed to pass texas stats inspection. I was really mad at them since they said they did detailed inspection earlier. On Dec5th they said vehicle will be delivered on Dec7th morning and again I did not received the vehicle. So I am half way to month to pay My 1st EMi and haven't received the vechile.

This is the worst purchasing experience I have ever had. I decided to purchase a truck from Vroom thinking it would be quick and painless. So far it has been anything but that. First, the contract had to be signed 3 separate times because there were issues with the sales representative inputting the correct information. This included the actual amount down and payments each month. Second, I do not understand the delivery process. Why does it take so long to have the vehicle delivered especially when they ask you to select a delivery date. Try contacting customer support and they are no help. Made a request to contact the hub where the vehicle is located and the customer service rep stated that is not part of her role. She then provided me with a number to the hub that is not in service. Contacted the support group again and all she would say was that the specialist is working on it. Asked what does that mean and that's all she could tell me. I asked if she could reach out to the specialist and she interrupted me and told me this is all the information she could provide. How is this customer service? It shouldn't take this long to deliver a vehicle. Another confusing aspect is that you will get multiple estimated delivery dates. I had a date of the 2nd of Sept, 5th of Sept, and 6th of Sept. Well which one is it? Their process needs to be cleaned up and made more efficient. I know I will not recommend anyone to purchase from Vroom and myself will not purchase from Vroom ever again. I feel like all they do is pass the blame on to another department and no one will take ownership in helping customers.

A complete scam & Disaster. I did buy a 2018 Subaru WRX for my son. Carfax said accident free. Decided to also buy the service contract. What a scam. So far i had +$5K repairs to the car, broken headlights, sensor off, cruise control not working and now after 10K miles the clutch gives out and yes.. nothing is covered by the $1800 service contract. The bumper is peeling paint, clearly repainted. The passenger door is rattling and coming apart. Yet NOTHING is covered as they will always say normal wear and tear. I am sorry, a clutch is supposed to last 80K miles not 40K. A clean carfax report should not hide a fully repainted front. It is a scam. Do not trust Vroom.

This place says online it opens at 8am every single day. I get there at 9:15 and sit there watching people who work there standing around talking while I wait needlessly and security guard says oh we open at 10. Really? Such poor customer service right there, no way I'm spending my hard earned cash here. Imagine what auto service would be like??

Purchased a used Impala from Vroom online. Our first purchase of a vehicle online and not in person. The process and communication needs some refinement, the App isn’t updated in a timely manner. The end result we are very pleased with the car we bought. All blemishes were reported and up front. We found a wonderful car! Delivery right to our home. Car was dirty from the delivery but understandable. It was detailed prior. We had hiccups with our side and Vroom side but we would buy from Vroom again. Buying used cars is risky business. I have 30 years car dealership experience and like not dealing with a car salesman.

If you've never had a car shipped to your door, read this! I never have and there are some things to do. When the car arrives, video it, ALL of it! Inside & out. If the car doesn't work out...this will come in handy. If you return it for whatever reason...same thing when it's picked up. My situation was the worse case scenario. The car wasn't right for us and I had to return it within the alloted time. Yeah I know...shouldn't happen but...you know it does sometimes. Vroom was courteous and responsive throughout this entire process! I know, I read the bad reviews but...this wasn't my case. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. This experience went as smooth as I could have expected. Maybe they're listening and striving to improve, I don't know. Everything was executed as explained and on time, with the exception of the pick up of the returned vehicle. Thirty minutes late isn't a problem, considering trucking issues today. Besides, I bought a car once locally and didn't leave the dealership until midnight! So, this is nothing! It's a different process for sure. Our car was returned. We haven't given up, it's just that we haven't found a replacement yet. My wife's pretty picky. Will we go through Vroom again? If an appropriate replacement comes into their stock, absolutely!! I don't want to deal with the 4-square garbage, keeping your trade-in keys hostage and sales tactics of in-person dealerships. Thanks to all of the Vroom personnel who worked with us. We don't know what you look like, and that's okay!!

I would give VROOM 0 stars if possible. I've waited over 3 months to get my car registered. Temp. plates expired and I had to rent a car out of my pocket to get to and from work. Customer service was not helpful and told me the same thing for 3 straight weeks. Complaints have been filed with the BBB and Texas DMV

If you are considering purchasing from Vroom, please take my advice along with the advice of MANY others: DO NOT BUY FROM VROOM. Run. Buy from literally anywhere else.I purchased my 2018 Toyota Tundra from Vroom on 5/31/21, and am still waiting on my title, registration and permanent tag. I have already maxed out on the amount of temporary tags I can receive, and my current temp tag expired on 12/1. I was told on Wednesday of this week (1/26) that I would be receiving and email about a rental car in “24-72 hours” and 72 hours have passed and I haven’t heard a word. I call and email and message every single day. When I call, I get put on hold for hours and get HUNG UP ON. I email and get vague responses. My husband and I have to work and absolutely must each have a car. I need info about my title, registration and tags… NOW. And I need the info about this rental car ASAP!

Vroom. Disorganized. Incompetent. My representative immediately cut all contact after I paid my deposit. Online portal never works. Lost my paperwork for my trade-in. Customer service phone numbers are either not working or ring forever. Car is still nowhere to be found and today was my estimated delivery date. Just pay the extra 3 grand and go to a dealership.

If I could put less than one star I absolutely would. Call these folks in hopes to take a look at 1 of their vehicles they have listed they then told me I was not available or allowed to go and look at said car even though it's 2 miles away from my location.I then asked them a couple of questions about whether or not they check for open safety recalls they said they do not they also said that they have a $599 restocking fee which they will not reimburse you for and they will not Give you the money for financing back even though they tell you there is a 250 miles or 7 day return policy if in Fact there is something wrong with the vehicle but they refuse to give the money back They also said they would deliver the vehicle and that they sell over 50000 cars annually annually site unseen I find that extremely hard to believe these guys are a scam I highly suggest not buying a vehicle from them no matter how good the prices
